Mine would be:
  • Too many MJ plays to list; let's just say I enjoyed all the great MJ All-Star moments.
  • Shaq's dunk on the Admiral (1996 ASG by the way )
  • Magic Johnson's final All-Star game, culminated by a three pointer over Isiah Thomas
  • T-Mac's self alley-oop off the backboard
  • Gary Payton dunking in the 1997 ASG
  • Payton's alley-oop to Spree in the same game.

I know there's more, but it's actually more difficult to compile a long list than you would expect.

i dont know if you guys ever remember but VC's pass to AI and he grabbed the ball in air and with no balance and near the baseline he send to ball to hoop and scored.i hope you remember that .it should be 2-3 years ago's all-star.
EDIT: it may be the year AI wore #6 or 1 year back i do not know.

ASG 2002, VC passed it to hard, so Iverson grabbed it with his left hand behind the backboard, switched the ball to his right in the air and made it. That was pretty nice

i guess so..

i literally jumped out of my seat when i first saw that play.. i was like omg wtf did he just do that.. then after a while my excitement for that play died down coz it was overplayed.. but when you look back at it.. it IS impressive.. he did it in traffic.. not open court.. simply one of the best all-star plays ever..

i don't remember that can you elaborate?

Also i luved any of those days where the East's starting is Shaq, Grant Hill, Pippen, MJ, Penny
4 guys at 6'6 to 6'8 running the break is soo fun to watch.. and every1 of them can handle and pass and slam

Thu Feb 05, 2004 5:50 pm

During the player introductions of the 1996 All-Star Game, MJ jokingly pulled down Penny's warmups as he was leaving the bench after his name was called. Apparently someone pulled the same prank on MJ back in the 1985 game. The following year, Penny and MJ teamed up to pull down Mutombo's warmups.

Marv Albert noted that Penny had gone "from victim to accomplice", and Bill Walton used the prank to illustrate how far Penny had come now that he was the leader of the Magic.

Thu Feb 05, 2004 5:53 pm

Was it 96 all star game? Seems like it was a later all star game, maybe the 97 one.

Thu Feb 05, 2004 6:23 pm

Yep, it was 1996. Then Mutombo was the unsuspecting victim in 1997.
