I don't give a crap if he did miss it...rumors went around that James White could do this in the past but now we have concrete proof.

He'd own Jason Richardson and Vince Carter if he ever made it to the NBA.

That is impossible. No one could adjust in time after running that fast and jumping from the free throw line

This vid showed up on almost every basketbal related forums today  .

Cool dunk, I tought Vince Carters dunk over that French guy (Weiss or something) was the best. But if James White can pull this one off, VC will be no match for him. 2 bad we probably will never see him do some dunks in he NBA since hes not that good of a player at all

Damn thats pretty phat if he could pull it off. I can't quite see what he trys to do after the legs but it looks like into a semi windmill. I would love to see him in a dunk contest!

That's a 50 if ever I saw one. If he got that dunk to go down, it's worth 50 in any dunk contest. (insert Kenny Smith-like comment about the dunk having the flu here)

WOW!!!!!!!!!!

That is extremely impressive. I also don't care that he missed it cause I'm sure he could probably hit it if he tried again. Where does this guy play basketball and why is he not in the NBA (unless he is in college and will enter the NBA in the next few years)

WOW again.

can someone tell me is that b/w the legs or a windmill? looks to me like b/w the legs, wow, he can jump,

the reason he probable wont make it into NBA is coz all he can do i jump ver very very high, he doenst have a shoot and his onely 6'7 or so so he can only go guard,
he played for florida Gators in 2001-02, his not on theri roster now but i searched and only found his stats as a freshman http://www.gatorzone.com/basketball/men ... white.html
does any1 know where he is now?

Thanks for sharing that EG.

I remember reading about White in Slam about 2-3 years ago. It's a shame if he doesn't make it to the NBA, because people will be missing out!! :)

That is impressive, makin it or not, thats a 50!!!!

James White, that name sounds so fuckin familar!!(spelling?)
He didnt play NBL did he??
Sydney Kings swingman??

if so, then yes he wont make the nba, he got numbers of 16ppg 5rpg 5apg or something, and that was his best season.

James White did play at Florida. But he transferred to Cincinnati after Matt Walsh came and beat him out for the Gators' starting spot. He's about 6'7" and is a track star also.

They say he's not good enough for the NBA yet...but I'd take him with the last pick in the 2nd round.

good LAWDDD!!! sick sick sick. now only if he does 360 free throw line....

he needs to go to nbdl, cba, or something and get called up to the league, just to enter the dunk contest.

 Man, that was beautiful.........

I saw him on espn. He did a two-handed windmill in the open court. I hope he improves so I can see him in the NBA.

OSF and bballer, that is a between the legs from the ft line.

I'm not really impressed..especially since i cant see what he tried to do properly. I've seen tons of free throw line dunks before...in real life also. Jordan's double pump one handed free throw line dunk from 1987 looked better imo.

You do realize that he put the ball between his legs, right? He jumped from the free throw line...put the ball between his legs and just barely missed it. Please explain more how that is unimpressive.

I saw James White in the HS dunk contest. :miserable: [sic]

He jumped from the foul line for a dunk with one hand, switched to 2 and double-pumped on his opposite shoulder and finished with 1-and didnt even get a perfect score!!! He lost to a white guy-David Lee.
