It was nothing more than a spam thread. I should know.

Same here as Scoop.
It's enabled on my profile, but on the right side of the screen in 'Post a Reply' it shows that it's OFF.
I think it's just this thread.

Try quoting another post in this thread Andrew.
I quoted yours, edited nothing except what I wrote just now. Here's the result.

BTW, in your original post, BBCode does work, the quote box appears what it should appear like.

Unrestrict3D's reply cracks me up. "Hey man when I was fat I was good at basketball so leave him alone" if I recall Shaun got himself banned multiple times. I'd induct it but I'm capped.

Eeep. Just went through that photoshop thred, ahh hurt my eyes. Geez that photo is about three years old, perhaps not, maybe two after I got a haircut and wanted to show my girlfriend lol! NB: I was looking at this with my friend who is a judge and he said I could sue you for defamation (even though I would probably lose because of what I said and its an international matter so the legislation would be so hard to work around), but I couldn't care less. All you did was make me realise I was far from intelligent, extremely immature and in need of a good lesson. Ironically enough the last thing jugs said to me was (on MSN) "I wank in the shower". Just wanted to share that memory. Anyway sorry about that PS thread - fairly embarrassed about that one.

Sue who for defamation? No one defamed you, at least in this thread. How old's your judge friend out of interest?

Your judge friend forgot about forms of freedom of expression, if your country has that in its constitution or laws. You're the one who posted that pic of yours in a public forum. It's not like the NLSC is a social networking site like Facebook or MySpace and the users here 'stole' that pic of you and went on a campaign to ruin your good name, or face for that matter.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I am definitely not suing NLSC and have no intentions to. This site and its members have been very kind and forgiving. I think it might not have been defamation, but some sort of civil litigation. There's a precedent he was talking about, even though the cases differed, so that precedent probably wouldn't stand. His my fathers friend, and in the 60's, I couldn't tell you exactly. I more meant it to show in how much disarray I was in then, and how I certainly got told about it. Sorry if I have offended you or mislead you. Last thing I want to do is get banned. :)

Edit: Do you mind removing that picture of me because I just don't feel comfortable being seen on the internet, even though, yes some one could just check my myspace or facebook. Furthermore, I'm not sure why my quote isn't working in here, nonetheless sorry again.

It wasn't that one, however, that is quite interesting. Although, because this is an American court, it could only stand as persuasive precedent. Nonetheless, a very interesting case, which I had indeed never heard of.

[quote]In July, a landlord filed a lawsuit against a Chicago woman for writing on Twitter that her apartment was "moldy".

The landlord claimed the tweet damaged the company's reputation, even though the woman had only 20 Twitter followers at the time.[/quote]
Statements of fact are illegal?

I think this thread's BBCode is disabled for regular members and works fine for admins/mods/team members.

It's really no biggie. Looks like it's only isolated to this thread but might be worth taking a look at just in case it also happens to other threads.
