It's going for an extremely old school arcade approach. If it's half as much fun as NBA Jam was back in the day, it could at least be a fun distraction when you want a change of pace. I'll try before I buy from XBL though.

Figured I'd merge the threads to save confusion from here on out.
Sounds like it's a disappointment, I'd give it a shot myself but it doesn't seem to be available to Aussie subscribers.

Wow.
I just finished playing the demo, and all I can say is that I have not seen a game this bad in ages. It's just a very strange game. As JaoSming said, the player movement is extremely jerky and nothing flows correctly. The only thing I was pleased with was the amount of effort put into the player models.

I don't think anyone's had anything good to say about it, glancing at some of the reviews around the web. As much as I'd still give the demo a try to see how bad it is for myself, it's good to know I'm not missing out on anything.
