:wall: seriously NBA Live, c'mon

"We have full ESPN broadcast integration for the first time," says Dougan. "It looks exactly like you see on television. All of the intros, fly-ins, movies, graphics, announcers (Dick Vitale, Brad Nessler, Erin Andrews) … all of that stuff you see on ESPN will be in 'NCAA Basketball 10.' Not to mention, we're also doing CBS Sports integration. So that means we'll have two new announcers for the CBS team and that's Gus Johnson and Bill Rafferty. They'll be calling the games along with all of the CBS Sports broadcast packages. So if you're playing through your Dynasty mode, your Monday through Friday games will generally be on ESPN, but your big weekend games will be on CBS Sports.

They also talk about playbooks, the fact that they have 2 months longer than NBA Live to work on their game, and their DNA thing.
Opinions are my own.

I want to see it in people's hands because it makes the gameplay experience that much more authentic, that much more organic, and that much more fun. It's also way easier to use than anything we've ever done before in regards to team strategy.

Stupid buzzwords. If I hear or read something like that again I'm going to grab a table leg.

That's certainly impressive. I guess it's the presence of Marv Albert could be holding back full ESPN integration in NBA Live, given that he's under contract with TNT. I'd still rather have Marv than the current lead ESPN crew.

busted Marcus' balls on twitter over NBA Live's lack of real life presentation

@jaosming It would take a long time to explain it to you my man. All good things come to those who wait though...

I don't think there's any DNA in NCAA Basketball.

But none the less i'm feeling much better about the product this year than before.

That would be a good feature to request from EA. Synergy also covers college ball, I think the major schools.

For the first time in years, I may have to check out the NCAA game.

well im glad Im not the only one who didnt read the whole article but the Blue Ribbon thing is NCAA's synergy DNA. But it focuses on team play styles and not the individual players.

EA does normal hands on rating changes....I think.

i will for sure be getting this too. Maybe not the day i come out but i'll get it. I got NCAA 09 last year. It was fun but i think i liked college hoops 2k8 for the ps2 more. I think the game will be alot better this year because this will be the second year they are using the nba live gameplay engine.

I wouldn't mind at all if they canned Marv Albert for ESPN presentation to be in the game. I was never really a big fan of Steve Kerr being a commentator in the NBA Live games either. Mike Tirico and Hubie Brown would really be a welcome change in my opinion.

I'd mind. Mike Breen is OK but I don't care for Mark Jackson or Jeff Van Gundy, especially over Marv Albert. I'd rather NBA Live have TNT and ESPN Integration (Marv and someone else from TNT, Mike and one of the other NBA on ESPN/ABC guys), much like NCAA will have ESPN and CBS.

Here's hoping they could get the TNT license along with the ESPN license for Live.
