 Kyle Korver playing like a first rounder.
 Aaron Mckie leading the NBA in 3-point fg. %
 Allen Iverson leading the NBA in scoring
 Denver playing great bball
 LeBron and Carmelo being better than I thought
The list goes on...

You have no idea Martin, just cause Allen Iverson is out doesn't mean they resemble last year's Raps. The Raps had their entire starting line-up out last year and set an NBA record for man games lost to injury, the Sixers aren't even close...

Only AI is out?the Sixers have right now 6 players who are uninjured(3 of them haven't missed a game this season)
Derrick Coleman - Out, left knee sprain
Zendon Hamilton - NWT, lower left leg infection
Allen Iverson - NWT, right knee contusion
Aaron McKie - Out, left hamstring strain
+Jackson has been sidelined with a fracture in his left ring finger.
+Willie Green has a thumb injury
and MacCulloch may never play again,Monty Williams is in same condition as MacCulloch but he ain't a Sixer anymore.
and I didn't mean what I said word by word. and I don't want to see the Sixers close to Toronto's record that makes their fans so proud.

LOL! This Martin kid is making me laugh! We're not proud of the F*cking record, I was just saying that you have no idea about how many injuries the Raps had last year so you can think twice before you make another comparison like that...

No, he's not a star. He's had a slight revival next to KG to where he's very good again...but star? Hardly.

 Look at you fools, saying Latrell Sprewell is a star...tch tch tch...

This is what you call a STAR (in the making?)

Image

2003-04 Statistics:
PPG .5
RPG .40
APG .2

Don't you know, this kid pwns!!

Ok ok, I'm being unfair, sheesh, look at me, comparing a rookie to a vet...lets do this the correct way

Rookie Sprewell:

1992-93 Statistics:
PPG 15.4
RPG 3.80
APG 3.50

Btw, Latrell was selected 24th overall...

No, no, no, I'm bein so unfair, Latrell played 35+ mpg in his rookie season, Darco's carreer high has been a WHOLE SIX MINUTES, wowie noh?

Hmm, 24th pick player gets 35+ minutes, Darco (2nd overall) gets only 2.8...c'mon Ben, isnt this against some kind of law or something? C'mon, you know alot about the constitution etc, there has to be SOMETHING in there...

*Note, Darco is gonna pwn someday and is gonna be the 2003-2004 Finals MVP, Right Ben?*

But since you think Latrell Sprewell is a star, then I guess Willie Burton must be a star too.

Hey dont be unfair to dracula! Just becuase Latrell would be hurting the pistons and Darko isnt doesnt mean darko sucks.
Latrell isnt a star but Sam Cassell is? lol "moking is fun" but dont be "silly"

How am I mocking? Sheesh, I'm simply agreeing with the fact that Darko pwns...I proved that with stats didnt I?

Mocking...tch, no love for me whatsoever...

I'll further show that Darko pwns

Lets see, Spree got 35 mpg right?

So how bout we say everything times 35 for Darko, Otay?

PPG .5 x 35= 17.5 PPG
RPG .4 x 35= 14.0 RPG
APG .2 x 35= 07.0 APG

Woah, ROTY hands down!! :applaud:

Anyways, enough clowning around, amazing for me:

LeBron (Y)
KG (Y)
Duncan being handed the MVP Trophy all over again cuz they won a few over ~ teams, (N).

Still a long way to go boys...

Heh, KG gets those stats despite playing with Cassel ( a star ) and Spree ( hardly a star )

Btw, one more question, how come Cassel, is a star, but Spree isn't?

Numbers are quite similiar except for the APG... :?

Latrell Sprewell: 21.4 points (.425), 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.77 steals, .29 blocks, 3.0 turnovers, 1.8 fouls...PRO: 84.08
Sam Cassell: 26.3 points (.498), 4.5 rebounds, 9.9 assists, 1.64 steals, .15 blocks, 3.1 turnovres, 4.5 fouls...PRO: 113.25

I'm sorry but I usually don't consider anyone under 90 to be a star (so, yes I do consider Carmelo Anthony a star), especially someone who is having a fluke year at age 34 most likely due to his MVP (130.63) and All-Star teammates .

Hell, Fred Hoiberg is almost matching Sprewell in per minute production (82.95). Is Fred Hoiberg a star?

Since we're doing this bringing in other threads thing...Sprewell is just a role player (Rip: 87.08). While Billups (94.57) is as well, but Carmelo is a superstar (92.71).

Of course, I always give leeway for defensive ability but since it's icky with PRO numbers I divide by a number that would make Duncan = 91% and so it's 136.19. Then I adjust accordingly to defense, but even after that Spree doesn't become a star in any light. When I think star, I think top 25-30 in the league. Not top 25-30 at a position.

Like Jckal said, the only real difference here is assists...

lol a fluke year?
Career averages for spree (current season in brackets):
Points per game: 19 ppg(17.9 ppg)
Assists per game: 4.2(3.9)
Rebounds per game: 4.2(4.1)
Steals per game: 1.53 (1.33)
Its funny when a fluke year doesnt even match upto someones career averages...

Lol ok you take Fred Hoiberg over Latrel. I know who I'd take if i had the chance.

I wonder what Darko's numbers are for this? :proud:

Well, seeing you make the rules for this I cant say anything can i? lol  after all, fred hoiberg is just as good as spree

Latrell Sprewell is having a fluke year, because he is 34 and has seen a jump in his numbers over the last few years. He is only producing slightly more than Fred Hoiberg in the time he plays, but he is a better player because of his defense and willingness to be aggressive offensively.

Darko Milicic cannot be compared as well because of his small number of minutes. Because he only played 22 minutes at the one-fourth mark, and he took a lot of shots in the small time his PRO is only 11.34. But again, because he hasn't played over 100 minutes he is an outlier and attempting to compare him to players over the threshold would be a waste of time.

Back to Sam Cassell though, he's having a great year alongside KG, far outplaying what I thought he would. He's playing better than any guard in the West. Kinda ironic that he was traded in the Marbury deal that broke up the "Stockalone of the New Millenium" and here he is in Minnesota in the role Marbury could've had reaping the benefits and having a tremendous season. The fact that he's having this kind of year at his age I find quite amazing, he's been an All-Star talent a number of years in the past but never like this. I hope he doesn't get snobbed this time around.
