Yeah, that's what I had to do in my other associations, in my current one I think I will only do predictions in the playoffs.

Parker leads Spurs over Heat.

James White scored a career-high 31 points, but mostly in garbage time as the Heat' bench
couldn't make up a 24-point deficit. The Spurs won 113-107.

James White played a season-high 24 minutes and scored 31 points in that time, shooting 80%
from the field and 50% from three point land.

After one quarter, the game was in balance, as the Spurs only managed to secure a one-point lead
after 12 minutes. The second quarter was a disaster. The Heat allowed 38 points, while only scoring
15.

At halftime, Erik Spoelstra spoke to his players for a long time. D-Wade was upset. So were Rashard
and Rondo.

The third quarter started, same way as the first. Teams were more focused on offense then defense. Both
teams scored 27 points, leaving coach Spoelstra no option other than play his bench guys for the remaining minutes.
It was a 24 point deficit.

However, Dorell Wright and James White were a nigtmare for the Spurs bench, as they combined for 44 points in the game,
31 points of them in the fourth quarter. White made a three with 5.4 seconds to go. The Spurs just dribbled the ball to run
out the clock.

Michael Beasley played his worst game of the season. He finished with 6 points and 4 rebounds in 31 minutes. Jeff Foster had
6 rebounds, 4 offensive, in 13 minutes for comparison.

Mario Chalmers played 15 minutes, but was very productive with 4 points, 4 steals and 5 assists. Dorell Wright scored 13 points
and James White led the team with 31.

This will wrap up the month of February for the Heat. The Heat still have 10 games left in the regular season. The Bobcats have
only 1 for example.

Nice double-double by Duncan. The Spurs are a tough team to beat, so I wouldn't worry too much.

February was a busy month for the Heat. They traded away one of the key reserves in Kyle Korver. They received Jeff Foster in the deal and quickly signed James White to a 5-year deal to make up for it. After three games for the Heat, James White is averaging 16.7 points while shooting over 50%. White wrapped up February by scoring 31 points against his former team - the Spurs. The Heat finished the month with a 4-1 record, which is fairly decent, even superb. As trade deadline got closer and closer and eventually passed, no trades were made. In March, the Heat have 4 games coming up with only one game against a above .500 team - cross-state rivals the Orlando Magic. On the 25th of March however, is the long waited match-up between All-Star William Sit and Carl Cruz. The game will be available to see on TNT.

Rookie Rankings - January Edition
* Rookie leader. Only 2 best performances from now on, in order of my hyper-clever EC rating. (Efficiency+Contribution)

1. Karl Peebo | Sacramento Kings | EC RATING : + 3.706
| 19.3 PPG | 10.6 RPG | 3.9 APG | 1.30 SPG | 1.96 BPG |

Peebo has become a double-double machine and has emerged as the teams leading scorer over Kevin Martin on several occasions. Crabman stole the ROTM honors, but Peebo has a better chance of winning the ROY award.

    VS CHI | W 105-102
    43 minutes, 37 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block, 2 turnovers, 5 fouls, 16-28 FG, 1-5 3PT, 4-5 FT
    VS MEM | L 92-110
    37 minutes, 31 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 2 turnovers, 4 fouls, 13-22 FG, 2-4 3PT, 3-4 FT

2. Albano Spagnoletti | Minnesota Timbervolwes | EC RATING : + 3.357
| 19.1 PPG | 7.2 RPG | 4.6 APG| 1.39 SPG | 1.28 BPG |

The Argentinian is back to his regular form, but the Wolves are 2 games behind .500 and 0.5 games behind a playoff spot. The Wolves need more scoring from the rookie, a 51 points eruption he had earlier in the season would be nice. However, as the Heat hold the Wolves' first round pick, they would like to see the Wolves lose a couple of more games so they could draft their draft-favourite Michael Parmer.

    VS POR | L 87-90
    41 minutes, 14 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 3 turnovers, 2 fouls, 5-13 FG, 1-4 3PT, 3-3 FT
    VS SAC | L 85-93
    39 minutes, 20 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 steals, 3 blocks, 0 turnovers, 5 fouls, 7-12 FG, 4-6 3PT, 2-4 FT

3. Lenny Crabman | Memphis Grizzlies | EC RATING : + 3.326
| 20.5 PPG | 4.7 RPG | 5.7 APG | 1.91 SPG | 0.45 BPG |

Crabman took the ROTM honors as he led the Grizzlies through February to put Memphis 2 games above .500 mark. He has increased his scoring and his overall play has become more consistent. He also won the Most Valuable Player award for his performance in the Rookie-Sophomore Challenge.

    VS SAC | W 110-92
    33 minutes, 27 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 0 blocks, 0 turnovers, 2 fouls, 10-16 FG, 3-7 3PT, 4-4 FT
    VS TOR | L 114-122
    39 minutes, 25 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 3 turnovers, 1 foul, 10-21 FG, 1-5 3PT, 4-7 FT

4. William Sit | New York Knicks | EC RATING : + 3.048
| 21.2 PPG | 3.4 RPG | 4.0 APG | 1.63 SPG | 0.42 BPG |

The Aussie is still scoring, but the wins just don't come for the Knicks. Sitting second from the bottom, the Knicks are 99% out of the Playoffs and will look to get some young pieces during the summer to build a supporting cast around Sit. Sit has become the Knicks franchise player and Donnie Walsh has big hopes for the youngster. The Knicks also have some free money in the summer, as they couldn't lure Lebron James into town.

    VS MEM | L 98-120
    34 minutes, 25 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 0 blocks, 1 turnover, 3 fouls, 11-19 FG, 2-6 3PT, 1-2 FT
    VS CHA | W 101-92
    34 minutes, 27 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 0 blocks, 2 turnovers, 0 fouls, 10-22 FG, 3-8 3PT, 4-5 FT

5. Carl Cruz | Washington Wizards | EC RATING : + 2.950
| 17.4 PPG | 4.3 RPG | 5.8 APG | 1.45 SPG | 0.55 BPG |

The Wizards rose 6 spots in the standings, but are still 3 games under .500 and even more games behind a playoff spot. The Nets are 9-8 and holding onto the 8th spot. The Wizards are currently 12th.

    VS TOR | W 87-72
    39 minutes, 27 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 2 turnovers, 2 fouls, 12-27 FG, 1-3 3PT, 2-3 FT
    VS DEN | W 96-92
    30 minutes, 18 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 0 steals, 1 block, 2 turnovers, 2 fouls, 8-13 FG, 0-4 3PT, 2-2 FT

6. Oskar Tikka | Seattle Supersonics | EC RATING : + 2.663
| 15.0 PPG | 6.8 RPG | 2.5 APG | 1.43 SPG | 0.90 BPG |

    VS NOH| W 96-93
    42 minutes, 11 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 3 turnovers, 4 fouls, 4-11 FG, 1-2 3PT, 2-2 FT

Man this must be the strongest draft class since the '03 class. Huge plummet from the 7th to the 8th spot though. :P

Tough loss to swallow against the Spurs, but at least James White did what he did best - Provide some quality entertainment. Him and Wright look like a promising wing duo off the bench.

Balanced attack leads Heat over league's worst Hornets.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Image
Lewis was the high-point man of the Heat with 25..

Image

After a big loss to the league leading Spurs on the road , the Heat now had the league's worst team in
their own house. They took control early and finished with a comfortable 19-point win.

It was an equally balanced attack for the Heat, as 8 players scored 8 or more points. Rashard Lewis
finished with 25, D-Wade and Beasley added 17 a piece. James White, Udonis Haslem and Rajon
Rondo also reached double-figures.

After a great first quarter, the Heat were leading by 10 points. They couldn't stop Chris Paul throughout
the game despite having probably the league's best defensive back-court of Wade, Rondo and Chalmers.

At the half, the lead had already increased to 16 points. Third quarter didn't change a thing, as both teams
scored 23 points.

This encouraged coach Spoelstra to sub in his bench of Foster, Thomas, Wright, White and Chalmers when
the final frame started. The bench outscored the Hornets, who played with their starters almost the entire
4th quarter, 31-28. Chris Paul finished with 35 points and 12 assists, but he scored many field goals during
the 4th quarter when his team was behind big and coach Scott didn't take his young superstar out either.

The Nets will be the next opponents for the Heat. The Heat will be looking for their 16th win of the season,
while the Nets are trying to hold onto a playoff spot.. With the win over the Hornets, the Heat already
guaranteed a winning record for the season.

James White : 13 points, 2 assists, 4-6 FG, 4-5 FT
Udonis Haslem : 14 points, 8 rebounds, 6-12 FG
Rashard Lewis : 25 points, 3 steals, 8-15 FG, 4-9 3PT, 5-5 FT
Dwyane Wade : 17 points, 7-9 FG
Michael Beasley : 17 points, 10 rebounds, 8-14 FG
Rajon Rondo : 11 points, 12 assists, 3 steals, 4-7 FG

Wade just misses triple-double in win.
-----------------------------------------------

Image
D-Wade was just one rebound shy of his first triple-double this season.

Image

Dwyane Wade has been quiet in the last few games. Still scoring his 15-20 points, but not being the D-Wade we
all know and love. Against the Nets, he proved that he is still the same D-Wade. Wade finished with 34 points,
13 assists and 9 rebounds to lead the Heat to their 16th win.

After the first half, the Heat were surprisingly 7 points behind the Nets. D-Wade calmed his teammates down, saying
there is still 24 minutes to play.

The Heat came from the locker-room with a vengeance. They played superb defense, led by D-Wade. The Heat outscored
the Nets by 15 points, allowing the Nets score only 13 points.

This gave the Heat a comfortable lead over the Nets, but D-Wade wasn't done just yet. Carter, Simmons and Harris slowly
decreased the deficit. D-Wade switched to PG and just took over. His penetrating led to eide open threes by Lewis, dunks
by Haslem and Beasley. And of course, Wade often finished himself at the rim.

Wade even looked like a Center, crashing the offensive glass and pulling down 5 offensive rebounds in the game, 4 of which
came in the fourth quarter. Two plays straight, a shot was missed and D-Wade grabbed the offensive board and scored on
a putback floater. On both occasions, he also drew a foul.

When Bobby Simmons shot a three with 3 seconds to go, D-Wade was ready to grab a rebounds, as he was all alone. But the ball bounced
away far into the hands of Udonis Haslem, who got his double-double.

"I didn't know I was one rebound shy of a triple-double. We got the win and that's the most important thing. Of course it wold have
been awesome to get the triple-double." said D-Wade.

What you guys think of my sig? :cheeky: Jersey switch on Lewis 100% by me. The rest well, I didn't do much else, just put three pictures together and monochromed it.

Also, first post updated a bit. Stats added, recaps are more organized in the archive. Also a picture now as sort of a heading for the dynasty. :)

Love, Jefferson hold off Heat furious rally.

Jefferson led the Wolves with 26 and scored when it mattered.

Dwyane Wade, coming off a near perfect game, finished with a season-low 6 points and that was the main
reason why the Heat fell to the Wolves. This will help the Wolves playoff hopes, but the Heat hold the
Wolves first round pick and a win over them would make drafting Michael Parmer a lot easier.

Despite an amazing rally by the Heat, matter in fact the 5 that rallied was Foster-Thomas-Wright-White-Chalmers,
not the starting five, the Wolves came on top and gave the Heat their sixth defeat of the season.

Miami, the second best team in the league, had high hopes as they travelled to Minnesota. But straight out of the gates,
the Heat found themselves trailing by 11 points after 12 minutes. The Heat couldn't shake things up in the second quarter,
as the deficit increased to 20 points after 24 minutes had passed.

To make matters worse, D-Wade was feeling ill and during half-time team doctors took his temperature and it was 102.1
degrees Fahrenheit/38.9 degrees Celsius. D-Wade was to weak physically to play like his hero Michael Jordan against the
Jazz during the NBA Finals.

Wade scored only 6 points and took 4 shots. Rajon Rondo did score 21 points, but it wasn't enough.

The fourth quarter started with a 23-6 run by the Heat, as they made all of their first 9 shots, 3 of which were three pointers.
They managed to outscore the Wolves 34-14, but did fell short as they couldn't foul Telfair, who just dribbled the ball for nearly
10 seconds.

Dorell Wright probably had the best game of the season. He finished with 15 points, a team-high 8 rebounds and 3 steals while
shooting 5-8 from the field.

Love and Jefferson combined for 49 points and 15 rebounds to go along with 5 blocks and 59% shooting.

The Pacers are up next. The Pacers staring shooting guard is a familiar face to Miami. Kyle Korver is the man and will try to
punish the Heat for trading him. The Pacers are in the bottom of the league and the Heat would love to bounce back after this
loss.

Rajon Rondo : 21 points, 5 assists, 5 steals, 10-17 FG
James White : 12 points, 4-4 FG
Rashard Lewis : 15 points, 6 rebounds
Michael Beasley : 10 points
Dorell Wright : 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 assists, 5-8 FG
------------------
Kevin Love : 23 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks, 10-16 FG [POTG]
Al Jefferson : 26 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, 12-21 FG
Albano Spagnoletti : 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 6-10 FG
Mike Miller : 19 points, 5 assists, 7-12 FG

Hopefully that fever won't be hindering Wade long-term, although at the same time I wouldn't mind it if it helped let Wright/White shine a bit more.

Yeah, it's a crappy article but just fixed something up when I checked the Upcoming Free Agents in the dynasty menu. Also, wanted to train Dorell Wright and noticed, that the players' ages are a little behind. Beasley is 17, wade 24. It's 2011 so they should be 22 and 29 according to my calculations. So I'm currently manually dbf-editing every single players' birth date. Half hour of work and man it's boring. I don't have to edit created rookies' birth date which is good. Going to bed now, but will continue editing tomorrow.

So here's what's coming in the next few days :

    * Recap VS IND.
    * Sit vs Cruz match-up recap.
    * March recap.
    * Michael Parmer article.
