homicide1550, I pressed play game and didn't control either team. I made some substitutions if sometimes someone stayed in the game for too long. I took out Crabman and Sit as they only shot and didn't let anyone else score :D

C-77, I think it was one.

thx for the warm welcome dudes! nice to be remembered and see some familiar "CFs"

as far as a new dynasty? just no time to be as involved as my previous but i've thought about it, although it would be "retro" (Live '06); i'm thinking a progress/player mvmnt tracker at best with few graphics if any; only thinking about it recently since the communities great work on hte PC Proj have given me the Dynasty itch ;)

That's great news, Clutch!

Anyway, I went away again, but I hoped it wouldn't matter, cause I uploaded the pictures and stuff, so I could do the recap of the All-Star Game, while I'm away.

I uploaded the pics, the score and team logos. But I forgot to upload the box scores, so I don't have any stats :D

So do you think I should

A) post the recap anyway? I remember what Lebron did, how many points Sit scored.. And how many points Arenas scored.

Or

B) wait and go home and at least post the accurate stats? This would happen in 1-2 weeks.

Also, I turned off the trade deadline. No trades happened so I figured what the hell. And only 3 signings were made, including James White. Both were crappy players, who I've never even heard of.

Sit, It's Parmer. And don't worry. I won't be doing the story behind him. I will just hope to draft him and have him be a part of my team. As he is a SG, he won't even be starting. I could switch Wade to PG, but then I have Rondo and Chalmers picking bench splinters out of their ass. :P

I will hope to get the All-Star Game recap up later today.

Lebron's half-court shot gives East the win
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Image
Lebron racked up a monster triple-double, hit the buzzer-beater and took the MVP honors

Image

Lebron James was breathtaking, Marv Albert had no words remaining to describe the Cavalier.
Lebron scored 48 points, dished 11 assists, grabbed 10 boards, stole the ball 5 times and hit
the game-winner from half-court to give the East 155-152 2OT win.

At the start, nothing was going for the Eastern conference. They quickly fell behind 21-10 and Erik
Spoelstra was forced to take a time-out. He subbed in Gilbert Arenas and Chris Bosh for Mike Bibby
and Elton Brand, but nothing changed.

After the first quarter, after Will Sit missed a buzzer-beater, the East were looking at a double-digit
deficit.

In the second quarter, Lebron took over. He scored 16 points in the quarter in only 6 minutes that he
played. Mike Bibby helped along with Emeka Okafor and the game was even again at the half.

West quickly regained control with Ron Artest and Aaron Brooks leading the charge. Dirk came in,
made a few jumpers and had an amazing dunk over Jermaine. Lebron did everything he could, as he
was a rebound and an assist shy of a triple-double.

Lebron continued where he left off. But as he attpmted threes, his confident dropped. He was 0-7 from
deep.

Jose Calderon led the charge when Lebron was struggling. He hit 3 threes and Gilbert Arenas added 2
to send the game into OT.

Lebron achieved his triple-double after an offensive rebound and a no-look alley-oop to Bosh. Arenas
continued his three-show as he made 2 in the first 2 minutes of OT.

Yao Ming wanted to be the hero for the West, as he ran out the clock and shot a three with 11 seconds to go.
It wasn't an easy shot. But he made it. Yao couldn't believe it himself, as he was hugged by his teammates.

East didn't call a time-out, instead quickly inbounded the ball as the West weredistracted and Gilbert
Arenas made a three with 5 seconds to go. The game was tied. Aaron Brooks shot from half-court was way off.

In the second OT, most of the scoring were done by Lebron, Sit, Yao and Brooks. Sit was essential to the Eastern
squad, as he made a few clutch threes.

As the game was tied, Yao tied the game off a lay-up with 4 seconds to go. Lebron recieved the inbounds pass from
Sit, made a few dribbles and launched a three from half court with Carmelo Anthony on him. He had to double-clutch
to get it off and banked it in.

Marv Albert was going insane. You could hear his famous "YES!" to 10 miles away. Lebron simply dropped down
exactly where he got his shot off, and every single member of the East squad simply jumped on him to celebrate.

David Stern :
"It was a night for the stars, but one star shined more brightly then the others. He scored 48 points, pulled down 10
rebounds, recorded 11 assists and 5 steals to go along with a block. Ladies and gentlemen, your 2011 All-Star
Game MVP - Lebron James."

Image

Lebron James : 48 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds, 5 steals, 1 block[POTG]
Yao Ming : 22 points, 15 rebounds, 3 blocks.
Gilbert Arenas : 33 points, 9-18 3PT
William Sit : 25 points.
Aaron Brooks : 27 points.
Jose Manuel Calderon : 11 points, 3-4 3PT

Isn't 48 points like the most in All-Star game history? And to end off the way that the game did, that's freaking nuts right there.

It seems like the All-Star game finally served its purpose - To entertain the damn fans. For about 3 years now I've practically fallen asleep watching these All-Star Games... If only it were this exciting in real life.

Thanks for the replies guys, appreciate it a lot! Will get more accurate stats of the All-Star Game up when I get back home. (Next week sometime.)

I've been thinking what to do with the prediction game, which is currently on hold. I don't want to rip Sit's idea, although it looks like the only sensible thing to do - improve your player in this dynasty.

Sit hasn't got points, but he wouldn't need to improve :D (Although, Sit, your rating is 16 points lower then ratrac for example, as he won last seasons contest - 97 to 81)

Also, the prediction game will change a bit in the Playoffs, I've got some ideas, but don't want to share them just yet.

If you have any ideas, how I you could use your points, without it looking like I'm stealing Sit's idea, let me know. :)

(Although I should have thought about it before I started this season with you guys as rookies.)

I've been following this secretly for a while now, and I have to say... The recaps look incredible, and you're doing well with my man D-Wade and the Heat. Plus, some of the screenshots look like 2K! Well done, and keep this up!

Rondo's 17 assists leads Heat over Peebo and the Kings.
---------------------------------------------------------------

White contributed once again, hitting the free throws when needed..

Image

James White had a decent debut for a role player/bench warmer against the Celtics and carried on his
high-flying act against the Knigs, helping the Heat burn the Kings 118-107.

White's only FG was a dunk after a perfect screen by Jeff Foster. (For picture, look up.) This got the bench of the Heat
out of their seats. Soon, the Heat would take out all 5 starters. A surprising move, as the Heat hadn't sealed the win with
a minute to go.

But White hit his free throws, as he went 9-10 when he was intentionally fouled. He finished with 12 points, 5 points shy
of tying his career high. (17)

D-Wade and other starters got the game on quickly, as Rondo racked up 6 assists with 7 minutes gone. The Heat finished with
a 30-17 lead after one.

The two next quarters weren't terrible for the Heat, but they couldn't stop the Kings from scoring. After three, the Heat were still
up by 2. Then, Rondo really picked it up. He racked up 7 fourth-quarter dimes to secure a comfortable lead to pass on the PG torch
to Mario Chalmers. He continued Rondo's effort, as he finished with 4 assists with limited 11 minutes.

Dorell Wright hit a three at the buzzer to set the final score. Many Kings fans were booing after the play, as Wright didn't do the
sportsmanship thing and shot the ball anyway. Wright's comment was pretty simple :

"I get the ball like 2-3 times per game. I was open. Why shouldn't I shoot? I didn't mean any disrespect by that, just wanted to get on the scoreboard."

Those were Wright's only 3 points. He played 4 minutes.

thierryhenry50, yeah, until the playoffs start. Many participants don't check the site every day and it wouldn't be fair to them. Also, I can move faster. I had to wait like 2-3 days sometimes so I could get everyone's predictions in. Now I can get even two games per day. :)
