Since there seems to be a sizeable Filipino community here at NLSC why not have a thread for the PBA.
Although PLEASE KEEP THE DISCUSSION IN ENGLISH. Since unfortunately I'm a bit rusty with my Tagalog.

Peace out.
I hope the Commisioners office metes out the proper fines and suspensions
Red Bull Barako team manager Tony Chua and the entire coaching staff, led by head coach Yeng Guiao, tendered a courtesy resignation to the team management last night following the team’s sorry exit in the Reinforced Conference that capped a season of failures for the Thunder in the PBA.
Chua and Guiao initiated the move as the two realized they failed to meet the expectation of the management in their fourth year of participation in the league.
"This season proves to be a very competent and challenging one for us as determined by our standing in every conference. But due to some circumstances, we failed to evade collapse during the quarterfinals. That indeed is disheartening and painful.
"We realize we fail in our supposed roles to bring the team to greater heights. We also feel that we fail in our commitment to keep the company legacy of having one team with vision and action."
It was a painful season for the Thunder who dominated the eliminations of both the All-Filipino and the Reinforced Conferences only to be booted out in the quarterfinals.

Holy CRAP!
Check out one of the worst trades ever in the history of the PBA:
Due to the really stupid and just plain bullcrap league rule disallowing sister treams to trade players directly, Sta Lucia has entered the picture, here's what happens:
Ginebra trades Limpot to Sta Lucia for their 2nd round draft pick in the 2004 draft.
Sta Lucia trades Limpot to Purefoods for Siegle
Sta Lucia trades Siegle to Ginebra in exchange for the draft pick it earlier gave the Kings!!
WTF!!?? This is total comedy. What's the use of the rule disallowing sister teams from trading with each other if this is what happens? Plus is this even legal? Can Sta. Lucia get its draft pick back when it never really gave it to the Kings in the first place???
This is just plain BS. No wonder the PBA is starting to lose gate reciepts to collegiate leagues like the UAAP and the NCAA.
