Pdub wrote:No. It does involve a little hex editing, but it's alot easier to shape the hair in 3ds max since you can select it by itself.
Basically you find the player with the hair you want to start with, export the head model with the IFF tool, export the bald head model you want to put the hair on, and hex edit that model into the head model with hair, and load it up in 3ds max. From there you can freeze the head model element and edit the vertices of the hair to match it. It's not very hard at all once you get past the hex editing.
