So much for that goal this year, though 81 would still be a career high (as would 78 for that matter).

Meanwhile, Miami has battled back to lead 54-49 at the half.

this was a great game against the celts! tho we lost, but without Wade we send it to OT, Beasley played good, but Chalmers, man, he will be an all star next season, i love him! great court vision and clutch shooting already for a second rounder.. that 3-pt he hit, man, it was great! JO showed good game also, but he need to get more rebounds. even we lost, i like what i saw, and i know Wade wouldn't sit longer that 1-2 games

An All-Star next season? I guess anything's possible but sometimes it's not always how well a player performs but how the other players in the Conference are performing but we'll see. He's certainly turned out to be a good pick for them.

It was just a shame Paul Pierce came through in the clutch and the Celtics raced out to the early eight point lead in overtime. Despite the bad start it turned into a very winnable game for the Heat.

The Nets had a couple of players score 18 off the bench, that didn't help the Heat. The Lakers lost to the Sixers the other day, these things just happen sometimes.

Inconsistency. That's what it is. You gotta admit we're still far from being a great team, even with healthy Wade.

Even so, they only lost by two. Everyone's prone to a tough night now and then.

It sure does suck since we really need to lock this 5th seed or we'll face the Celtics or Orlando in first round, which will be ugly. But honestly, I wouldn't mind 6th seed either, if it meant fresh Wade. Obviously Wade should be banged up this late into the season, so this kind of performance is forgivable. Just hoping we'd see it minimal times.

i dont think if there is any difference between going out in 2nd round or in 1st... we wont make conference finals neither nba finals... so its no difference in my opinion.

I agree it looks worse but I think that gives the Pacers too much credit. Sometimes the best of the best have lousy games against lousy teams. Even in their 72 win season, the Bulls lost to teams they shouldn't and Michael Jordan had average or even subpar games against teams you really wouldn't expect him to struggle against. It's disappointing to see but it's just something that happens, then and now. You can't be on every single game, it's just that we get used to the top guys being on much more regularly.

I can't believe Wade lost to the Bulls tonight. That was a must win for us and now look at where we are. 6th fucking seed to face the Celtics. Shit happens, but it seems like the Bulls are a better team than us at the moment. Salmons is a solid player that can contribute night after night. We just don't have those fire powers that CHI got. Wade can't do it all by himself.
