Lakers Blowout Spurs, Win Fifth Straight

Lakers were passing so well and San Antonio has the worst supporting cast in the NBA. (among the top teams)

I have been studying the stats closely and Nesterovic, Bowen, Ginobili and Malik Rose are completely useless. Nesterovic is so bad, that San Antonio may not return to the Finals again for many years. They must get something from these players or you can forget it. Duncan's numbers this year will be the best in the NBA in some years, he will do everything because no else does anything.

Ginobili 83-207 .401
Rose 41-124 .331
Nesterovic 53-123 .431
Parker 50-115 .435
Turkoglu 37-101 .366
Bowen 37-103 .359
Horry 22-65 .388

Total 323-838 .385
This is so ugly

lakers are playing an extremely well team game, i say something rare these days?
and as a Kobe fan i was not expecting him to drop his shots so much, i mean from 23.8 to 15.1, thats great IMO.
shows he really aint selfish

Sometimes people don't understand the diff. between players. Many comparisons & statements of who is better Garnett or Duncan during the offseason. Many arguments on Nesterovic becoming the best replacement for David just cause his last year stats & for being young. Not realizing Garnett makes anyone around him better, Duncan doesn't, that's why Nesterovic had a great year last time, he won't see a year like that with the Spurs.

   @ Sheppy, this is not a Playoff prediction post if you didnt notice

Nice blowout game by LA, they owned the Spurs bigtime....I really have the feeling that Karl will get even more triple doubles this season, since he already has one and came close during the season opener (1 assist shy). To bad Shaq couldnt play as his old self cause of that injury...I believe this was his fewest points total in 2 years

if its so hard to understand what i'm trying to say i'll spell it out for you. the spurs aren't going to go far into the playoffs and the kings are playing amazingly well right now without chris webber. when they get him back and they get to the playoffs, the kings will beat the lakers.

Maybe we should talk bout that when it's actually happening.

For the time being, Lakers are crushing most of the teams they are playing, including the World Champs. :D

Btw, how come the Queens tend to play better without the Head Queen of the Queens?? Last season too :?

I was really impressed with Devean George against the Spurs. He shot something like 90% from the field and was hitting some nice jumpers. I liked one of the commentators calls about him being the fifth Beatle. Great team effort all round though, apart from Shaq's poor return(except for that block on Manu). Team basketball is the best to watch and it win games, the Lakers are proving that.

Lol, as I said, what goes around comes around. :D Deal with it.

Lol, my rolly eye guy is getting lots of attention these days...amazing...and then people have the nerve to tell me to find my own identity...you clearly put it there cuz I put it there, but ofcourse you will deny that now. Anywho, it's all love and peace on this board as sum perverted ( :P :P ) man said.

Yeah, George shot 8 of 9 (89%) including both his three point attempts, he knows when to pass, is unselfish, runs, defends. I like it, I hope he keeps starting even when Fox is back.

If you wish to continue with this back and forth spit contest, be my guest. I am done. It's all bout love and peace.

ahh...Lakers/Kings.
The playoffs would not be complete without those two playing against each other.

In my opinion the Kings are not as strong as they were the previous years due to the loss of some of their key bench contributors. Sure the Kings are playing well right now w/o Webber, but honestly they do that EVERY year! I don't think it's a good argument at all. I like the Kings too, but the Lakers LOOK like the better team so far. I can't wait for their 1st matchup this season :)

The Spurs look like dogshit so far this year. Defending champs they are not, according to Popovich.

the kings playing well without webber is a testament to the players and the coaching staff, not a reflection on how the team is 'better' without him.

the pacers vs the butt pirates... looking forward to watching this game. lol of course the game will be interesting- the teams with the top records are facing off, thanks for opening our eyes on that one, master debator
