1.2 exe for NBA 2K hook not opening saves?

Hello guys,

Encountered a strange problem: when launching the game via 1.2 .exe everything seems fine, mods are working BUT when trying to open a MyLeague/MyGM save - game crashes after few seconds of stuck loading screen.
When I use the original .exe which came after buying the game - saves are loaded without a problem (but of course then mods are not working).

Perhaps someone encountered this and would know why saves are not being loaded via the 1.2 .exe? Downloaded the 1.2. exe file from here: https://mega.nz/file/Z20DDSrD#Q3PXgCU4z ... HTr-X8Ldjc

Last month after the new updates, on myleague mine crashes on loading screen as well, but was working only when i run first the Playnow.
But after this latest updates, totally the MyLeague saves totally wont run and crashes, even i tried the previous workaround. Hope someone can share their fix for it.

Have the same problem. It will only load my saved myleague games when mods are turned off so I always have to turn off mods after playing. I only turn it on before I play. If the game is not yet finished, it would only let me load it if mods are off.

Just wondering which mod(s) you use that need the hook? The mods I use work in the normal mods folder using current exe.

Some cfs dont work in the game's mods folder that's why I had to use hook. For example quinones and gui santos CFs dont work even if I edit the face id in 2K tools. Hairstyles for looney or dort dont work as well and they end up getting bald with headbands

Because that face was created by NBA 2K23 and the appearance file must be converted to NBA 2K24. Follow my video tutorial for converting them:

You should delete the mods folder by default since it only works for existing files. New face IDs, portrait IDs, custom rosters with uniforms, etc. won´t work with that.

I only play MyTeam so none of that matters really.
