v2.2 Download Links:

Roster Download

Playbook Settings

Installation:

Installation XP: open any folder and click Tools->Folder Options->View->check Show hidden files and folders.
unzip and put the files in _:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K9\Saves
It won't overwrite any of your existing files and you can load them separately in the game.

Installation Vista: open my computer >organize> folder and search options> view> show hidden files and folders
this will show hidden files nd we will be able to put the slider and other stuff.

Notes:
Myself and especially Ryan have put alot of hard work into this roster file, not just creating the missing players but also working on the contracts, accessories, trades etc

All feedback is welcome, as this will help the project develop the roster further.

Those that are interested will note that im striking through the created players as ive finished them

The initial aim is to get a decent attribute set for each player - lookswise it may not be perfect, but i wont have black 'whitemen' etc

OK with Ryans help, hopefully we can get our roster out early next week.

Progress so far:

All rosters up to date (including player numbers) as of 31/10.

Missing players all created as a 'shell' - Roberson is pretty much 100% done, other players have stats updated, though Ryan will be doing the bulk of this/sending me data to input

To do/being done:

I am running through each players contract just to update as much as possible ie Bynum.

Final run through of rosters in case of player movement before release

Future editions:

Player re-rates?? Not on the radar right now, but something to consider on feedback.

Hopefully people will give this a look, worst case, it will provide a base for future enhancement once we get editors etc

rotations/injuries are untouched atm

it may be an option to release 2 rosters; 1 including injuries and 1 without injuries

Only 6 more caps to go and every missing player will be in this roster. All of them are based off of Portlandblazer and Nogster's 360 roster with permission of course.

an update for those interested in this roster project:

CAPs are completed and put on relevant team - as it stands, they look as good as we can get them.

Contracts have been looked at and amended for all players where information is available.

Starting 5s updated (rotation minutes not as present)

Some accessory changes

Hopefully I can host this tonight for downloading and feedback, we have put a fair amount of work into this (Y)

Hey I have a suggestion:

You said that re-rates would not be considered at first. Well I think that they should be addressed since there are a lot of players badly rated.

Examples: Marcus Banks (Heat's backup PG) is rated lower than Chris Quinn and Shaun Livingston, who are playing less than 10 minutes per game, actually Livingston is playing more as a 2-guard than running the point.

Another example is Calr Landry from the rockets, who has been given an way-too-high 80 rating. He is the team's backup PF (in a team that will usually "go small" playing with Ming, Battier, Artest, McGrady and Alston, once Battier recovers from his injury), he has a lot of talent and a great rebounding ability, but he does not deserve the 80 rating, and Scola should be rated higher (is the starter and has better numbers). Either way, none of the two must be rated over 75.

And finally there are other individual cases of players being rated too high (Udrih, Vujacic, Speights, Daniels, Hinrich etc...), while others being rated too low (Wilcox, Jeff Green, Batum, etc...).

that will be covered before release

we should get v1.0 out tonight, before looking at improvements for later editions.

however this release will at least cover all those missing players currently not in the game.

I'll have the roster ready for download within the hour.

It will include all missing players.
Accurate lineups.
A ton of accessory and shoe updates.
Iverson to Pistons trade. (Iverson is #33, Billups #4 for now)

Keep in mind that ratings, tendencies, and some player's minutes still need to be adjusted. If anything is not accurate just give us the heads up and will fix it.

Check back here in a little bit for the download. ;)

Ok version 1 is ready for download. It is still a work in progress, but it's easier to correct any mistakes and make adjustments if we can get as much input as possible. So here are the details for V1.

All missing players added (based on nogster/portlandblazer's 360 roster)
    Up to date starting rotations
About 50% completion on accessory updates provided by yuckmouth jonez from O.S.
    Iverson/Billups trade included

What to look for in future updates:
Up to date rotations including minutes per game
    Updated ratings and tendencies
    Updated player accessories and shoes

So try it out and give us your feedback.
