Dwyane scored 19 points in the final decisive quarter, going 12-12 from the free throw line to help the
Heat reach a come-from-behind victory on the road against the young Bobcats.

The game was pretty unbalanced all game long, as the Cats jumped to a 15-point first quarter lead. The
Heat thought things over and after 2 quarters, the Heat were only down by 7. After the Heat jumped out
of the gates in the third quarter with a 8-0 run and regaining lead since it was 2-0, D-Wade picked up his
fourth foul and took a seat on the bench. The game collapsed for the Heat and found them trailing by 7
entering the final frame.

Then, the D-Wade show began. In front of his childhood hero Michael Jordan, D-Wade scored 19 points in
the final 6 minutes, going 13-13 from the line and 3-4 from the field, including an emphatic dunk over Jason
Kapono, which ended a 14-2 run and forced Larry Brown to call a time-out.

The Cats never recovered from Wade's run and fell 98-91.

Aldridge's offensive rebound andlay-in put the Blazers up by 4..



Travis Outlaw scored 17 points and had a couple of key steals as the Blazers stunned the Heat 101-96 in
Wade's house.

Miami jumped out of the gates quickly, starting 8-0, which forced Nate Mcmillian to call a quick time-out.
The Blazers then got on a roll, when Channing Frye came in for Greg Oden. Frye scored 7 straight points
and helped the Blazers to stay in the game. Mario Chalmers hit a three at the buzzer to give the Heat a
30-20 lead.

The second quarter was different like day and night, as the Blazers bench quickly erased the deficit. Mario
Chalmers had 4 steals however in that quarter, and the Heat got some easy points off them. The young
Blazers shot extremely well and took a 51-50 half-time lead.

At halftime, coach Mcmillian went over what went wrong in the first quarter and the Blazers increased their
lead to 15 points with 5.13 left. Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers led the comeback and the Heat found
themselves in a 9 point hole before the final frame.

The fourth quarter started with very poos shooting from both sides as neither team increased their points
total in nearly 2 minutes. Then, D-Wade once again took over, like he usually does. He scored at will, scoring
12 points in the final quarter and had a few key assists to Beasley, Korver and Rondo.

Kyle Korver missed a 18-foot open jumper with 15 seconds to go and Brandon Roy was quickly fouled. He went
1-2, but as seen on the photo above, LaMarcus Aldridge grabbed the offensive board and scored just his third
field goal of the night. Korver missed another three and Roy went 1-2 again. Korver missed yet again, grabbed
his own board and missed as the buzzer went off. He went 0-4 from thee and 3-8 from the field in the game.

The Heat as a team went 2-11 from three, but shot 92 percent from the line. (22-24)

Lewis' debut in a Heat uniform will be remembered.



The Heat acquired forward Rashard Lewis just a few days before their match-up with the Knicks and it
showed, as Lewis scored only 2 points through three quarters and committing 3 turnovers in the process.

"I wasn't caught up with the plays and basically had seen the Heat play only on video. I didn't even get
to practice with them."

Despite that, coach Spoelstra granted Lewis a starting small forward spot over key reserves Dorell Wright
and Kyle Korver, who had been with the Heat for years.

"I was hearing booo's in the crowd and didn't wanna disappoint the team, that wanted me. In the fourth
quarter, I demanded the ball more and took better shots. As I knock a few of 'em down, my teammates
started to believe in me and so I just scored at will."

Lewis finished the game with 27 points, including 25 in the final quarter to help the Heat hold off the Knicks
furious rally late in the game. Dwyane Wade added 27.

New York started the game well, playing surprisingly good defense, but failing to score on the offensive end.
Knicks secured a 3 point lead after one.

Second quarter was more of the same, as the Knicks continued their defensive strategies. David Lee was
huge and so was Nate Robinson off the bench. The Knicks allowed the Heat score 35 points in the first half.

Third quarter was when the Heat finally came alive. They scored 34 points on 58% shooting and were down by
just a point with the final 12 minutes ahead of them. Dwyane Wade was big in the third, as he scored 8 points.
Mario Chalmers also scored 6 of his 14 in the third.

The fourth quarter started with bad news for the Knicks. While defending Dwyane Wade, the Knicks leading
scorer William Sit picked up his fifth foul and Mike D'Antoni quickly took him out of the game. Sit wouldn't get
back on the court the rest of the way and finished with a season low 11 points on 4-11 shooting.

Rashard Lewis started to score, as he knock down consecutive threes on two straight possessions. The Knicks
panicked and failed to do everything defensively they did in the first half. They had to foul D-Wade and Rashard
numerous times in the fourth, as Rashard scored 12 points from the line in the fourth. D-Wade went 6-8 from the line.

The Heat had a 7-point lead with 45 seconds to go, but Chris Duhon led the Knicks back with 3 threes, all highly contested.
Dorell Wright was fouled intentionally and missed both foul shots. Then with 2.4 seconds to go and the Heat in-bounding,
their lead was down to a point. But the Heat managed to run nearly two seconds off the clock and Rashard was fouled with
0.7 to go. He made both and the Knicks had to fire a half-court shot, which went over the backboard.

Notes : The Heat attempted 49 foul shots in the game, making 41 of them. Udonis Haslem started for the first time this
season, finishing with a double-double. The Knicks went 9-15 from three in the game, 5-6 in the fourth quarter with their
only miss being a half-court shot by Hughes. Heat scored more points in the fourth then in the first half (37 to 35).
