Small suggestion, perhaps make subforums for each Live Title? but perhaps that is overkill. Just throwing it out there!

Probably overkill at this point, but a good suggestion that I'll keep in mind all the same. :)

There used to be individual forums for dynasties of each game and it caused retro dynasties, for people who still preferred Live 2005 and the like to be overshadowed.

Shame Sit's Association won't qualify whenever its finished. It is, in my opinion, the greatest dynasty story, even though its technically an association, of all time. (No offense to The X, Andrew and others, who have also made phenomenal dynasties)

We can always make an Association Hall of Fame, now that that section is up here right under the Dynasty & Franchise section.

Homicide's Cavaliers - Went on for a year and a half. Completed an entire season, and was always one of the best dynasties on the site. I'm sure nobody will have objections to it.

I have a pair of ideas that I both think should be implemented as they would improve this section.

I think a couple dynasties were put in by mistake. Mafia's 06 Grizzlies dynasty is only 4 pages. While those 4 pages were very good, it didn't pan out like his other one. Same goes with Micchy's 2004 Lakers - which ended prematurely so his 2005 masterpiece could start.

Also, and more importantly, I think the default setting for this section should be that it is sorted by replies. The first dynasties to be inducted have fallen to the bottom, despite generally being the creme of the crop, as they were the building blocks of this section. This would put the dynasties that were the most active on display.

Hope my suggestions are implemented or at least considered.

The Dynasty Hall of Fame could do with a review IMO.

Also second the idea about getting the dynasties at the bottom of the subforum to the top. (Y)

Want to hear what The X says (Congrats on promotion btw) and same with Andrew.

Perhaps I'm overlooking it, but I don't see an option to change the default order of threads in individual sections within the forum settings. What we could always do instead would be to make this nominations topic an Announcement (so it's always on top) and sticky a few nominated threads for being the best of the best.

As for those threads, I'm not too bothered by them myself but if the general feeing is they were inducted erroneously then I can move them back.

Actually, taking from all the ideas thrown around, what about we have the top dynasty/s (Maybe a top 1 or 2) of each year stickied at the top of the subforum. I can conduct polls for each year and hopefully people will get involved. :)

Thats a good idea, though half or more of the forum's elite dynasties are from 2005. Some year's winners wouldn't have cracked the top 5 that year. I think the DotY winners could be considered though (ALIB, Pursuer's Lakers, Chaser's Clippers, Martti's Heat)

Well, I was thinking we either use those or we do it more fair, easier to get a new top 2/3 and just have new round of voting. :)

Will do it once I get Andrew's OK.

Here are some fresh nominations. First one's a must, and the other two are perhaps a little shady. We'll see if others second them or not.

Anthony15 - Beyond The Baseline - Excellent dynasty that somehow fell under the radar. Noted for his excellent organization of league standings (that I have since ripped off)

Looser - 07 Warriors - Started out poorly, but came into its own a couple pages in. Also fell under the radar. One of the first to do the video thing.
Chaser7 - Warriors 07-08 - It ripped off my 2K7 association, and Martti's 07 dynasty, he won 70 games, but it was nonetheless a good start for the future DotY winner. Longevity and solid templates make the case for this one.

If you do induct them, don't do so yet as I have just included them in the polls. Also Lamrock, you might want to go to the 2006 and 2007/08 threads and re-vote. (Y)

I've decided to induct all three. If any of them win the vote, they'll be easy enough to find and sticky.

Ok. Based on the votes, the Threads proposed to be stickied are as follows:

These ones because they won the vote:

Andrew's Chicago Bulls (2004)
The X's Bobcats
The X's Blazers
Clutch's Rockets

These ones came second:

Cocobee's Pictures Are Worth 1001 Words
Mafia's Answer Incomplete
Sit's A Legend Is Born
Homicide's Rise Up/Martti's Wizards

There are a few that may be included because they were close:

Chaser7's Clippers
Lamrock's Flying High in ATL
Andrew's Bulls (2006)

Feel free to discuss. First batch are a must-sticky IMO :)

Thanks for voting guys!

Sure thing. I think that would be OK, that's eleven threads you've suggested including the winners and a top ten isn't a bad idea. Or even a top eleven, "go(ing) one step beyond" as the Nostalgia Critic puts it.

I'm liking the idea of a top 10. Perhaps the winning dynasties are stickied higher? That's actually twelve dynasties up there (Martti's Wizards and Homicide's Cavs are separate. As honored as I would be to have mine stickied, it really is on a level below the other ones. Additionally, Cocobee's is basically full of dead picture links. Basically, I propose the topics to be stickied as follows:

Andrew's Chicago Bulls (2004)
The X's Bobcats
The X's Blazers
Clutch's Rockets
Mafia's Answer Incomplete
Sit's A Legend Is Born
Homicide's Rise Up
Martti's Wizards
Chaser7's Clippers
Andrew's Bulls (2006)
