I'm sorry but I don't like this trade as much.
You didn't get raped/raped them or anything, I just think Dahntay is the shit.

I had the chance of trading Burks, Roberts and Robertson instead, but I like Robertson better than Jones, so I went with that instead.

Right now I'm looking into if I can make a trade for a backup centre (for Burks perhaps), but I might wait with that till the All-Star break instead.

D. Jones: Was unavailable for a comment, but he was overheard screaming: "WHAT? HOW DARE THEY TRADE ME? I'M THE MAN! THE MAN BABEY! I'LL SHOW THEM ALL!!! BITCHES"

 Awesome start man, i love the layout. It seems as if were getting all the good dynasties this time of the year. I cant wait to see more. (y)

BTW, nice trade. (y)

Nice to see you started a dynasty Andy. I'm sure they'll be as good as your shoe/court patches (Y). Don't worry, I'll be turning LOAD PICTURES off when coming to read your stories :P .

Welcome to the Grizzlies Training Camp
    Oct. 24, 2006

The Memphis Grizzlies have just finished their pre-season training camp and from the look of things, they're out to compete this year. "The guys worked real hard throughout every practice, and they put in a lot of effort" said Dahl. "They also seem to have embraced the new players and taken them into their team really well. They've had some laughs and the team chemistry seems to be top notch". Head Coach Mike Fratello added "Yea, I'm real proud of the guys so far. They've buster their asses off at practices, and I just hope that they get rewarded for it by doing well in the season."

Staff reactions about the training camp:
      - Andrew Begley: "This ought to be a really good season. Our guys have been putting in a lot of work, they're eager to prove themselves."
      - Nicky Fasz: "The team has made some clear progression. All the players worked hard and seriously and I think they're ready for the season physically and mentally."
      - Benjamin Branch: "After a intensive pre-season training I am looking forward to see how all that hard work has paned out with how well we go this season. I am really surprised on how quickly the team has gelled and it's a more friendly environment than it apparently was last year."
      - Jing Xu: Had to go back to class before we could get a comment, but he was heard saying several times during the practice "I HAVE JUST EATEN THE BIGGEST APPLE I'VE EVER SEEN"

Pau Gasol worked a lot together with Jing Xu and showed improvement on his rebounding skills. Hakim Warrick also showed that he had progressed with his inside scoring during the training camp.

    ImageImage
Together with Andrew Begley, Shane Battier improved his 3 point shooting and defensive rebounding; while Mickael Pietrus improved upon his dunking skills and defensive awareness.

    ImageImage
Bobby Jackson put in a lot of effort into his defence and grabbed a fair share of steals. Macijauskas started his first practice with the team by draining shot after shot, especially from mid range.

The rookie Antony Roberson was running lap after lap and showing some big improvements on his already great speed. Antonio Burks was seen after the practice shooting free throws.

Great job so far Dahl, I haven't been able to check up on anything hardly lately  but I knew I remember you saying you was going to start a dynasty with the Grizz. Looks like that practice court turned out well and I like some of those deals you pulled off too. Can't wait for the season to start.

That was my first cover, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks :)
And by the way, I put up the schedule for the team. Check the 'Season Schedule' post at the start of the thread.
