DALLAS MAVERICKS DYNASTY

Hello. I'm a fan of Dallas Mavericks, so I decided to start a DALLAS MAVERICKS Dynasty. I will go as far as i can, but the main purpose of this season is to become NBA Champions. In this Dynasty you will see a lot of photos from games, boxscores and short recaps of every game, only realistic trades. So wish me luck with this Dynasty.

SEASON OPENER MARKED WITH LOSS TO UTAH
Dallas Mavericks loses Utah Jazz after great performance by Deron Williams and killing 3 pointer

Image
Deron Williams' 3 point play leading to the victory. He had 28 points, 8 assists, 1 steal, but only 10-23 from the field

[ Mavericks Boxscore ]
[ Jazz Boxscore ]

RECAP

The Game started with good Nowitzki play, he was leading Mavericks scoring 12 points in 1st quarter. But Williams from Jazz was also good shooting from the penalty box. 26 : 25 The 2nd quarter started with 6 points lead from Dallas, but later players were struggling in Jazz defense, especially Dirk. 2nd quarter ends with poor advantage 43 : 41. The 3rd quarter started with Jazz spurt 9 : 2, and they were leading the game. But at the end of this quarter the score was tied 65 : 65. Mavericks score some easy points at the 4th quarter and led by 76 : 68. The advantage was similar till the last minute of the game, when some 3 pointers was made by Williams and Giricek. The Mavericks even controlled the situation, but unbelievable steal was made by Williams, and later - the 3 pointer. The score is 90 : 91. Last attack was not succesful, so I had to use intentional fault, and so Jazz has won this game 96 : 92.

Surprises:
Gordan Giricek scored 18 points, also had 5 assists, shooting very well. He had started the Jazz spurt last minute.
Jerry Stackhouse scored 13 points from bench and had significant influense to the game.

Dissapointments:
Andrei Kirilenko had only 12 points shooting only .375%, also 4 turnovers
Josh Howard was almost invisible, he had only 4 throws and scored only 9 points.

MAVERICKS' FIRST SEASON WIN
Great play of Dirk Nowitzki sinked Memphis Grizzlies

Image
Josh Howard was important factor of the win. He had 16 points, shooting 6-9 FG, and 4-4 FT, also 2 rebs, 2 assist and 1 steal

[ Mavericks Boxscore ]
[ Grizzlies Boxscore ]

RECAP
The Game started with 6:0 run by Dallas, but later Grizzlies tied and even was winning 11:17. But Dallas with help of Dirk Nowitzki tied the game, and Marquis Daniels has made an unbelievable 3pointer at the buzzer. The 2nd quarter belonged to Mavericks, they controlled the game, and at the very end of quarter with the remaining only 0.5 s. another 3 pointer was made by Daniels. The 3rd quarter was nothing interesting, Mavericks held the advantage, and didn't let Grizzlies to close. The 4th quarter began with the Howard show, six points in a row, and victory is near. The score has been even minimized at 1 point lead, but Nowitzki has made 2 free throws and Dallas Mavericks enjoyed their first win this season 102:99

The best players:
Dirk Nowitzki played at his bests, scoring 31 points with good accurateness.
Josh Howard also has played well and very securily.
Damon Stoudamire scored 22 ponts and had 9 assists.

Dissapointments:
Jason Terry missed all his shots except free throws and scored only 8 points, sure his passes were good, but should have been more accurate.
Pau Gasol was very passive on offense, and scored only 6 points.

PHOTO GALLERY:

Dirk Nowitzki scored 31 points and was the main player for Mavericks. Marquis Daniels enjoys great play. He hitted two 3 pointers at the end of 1st and 2nd quarters. Damon Stoudamire was most useful in his team.

MAVERICKS WIN ANOTHER VICTORY
Stackhouse's 8:0 run escaped Mavericks. Dirk was at his best

Image
Dirk Nowitzki was ustopable, with team high 30 points, 5 rebs and 4 blocks

[ Mavericks Boxscore ]
[ Wizards Boxscore ]

RECAP
The first half of the game was very boring. At the 1st quarter only Desagana Diop was the real fighter for Mavericks. At the 2nd quarter MAvericks played still poorly, and Wizards started to feel the rythm of the game. Their advantage was growing quickly 44 : 36, 50 : 38 with the help of Jarvis Hayes. And it was 57 : 44 at the half. Wizards was leading the score. Avery Johnson shoul find some ways to get close to the Wizards. So the 3th quarter started. Mavericks' offense was concentrated to Dirk Nowitzki, and point after point the score was 74 : 69 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Later Mavs was playing better and better, and after the score was 83 : 84, Jerry Stackhouse began his show. He score consecutive 8 points and later 4 points more. Wizards started to foulen intentionally, and the Mavericks celebrated their second victory this season 105 : 95.

The best players:
Dirk Nowitzki was unstopable with 30 points. 24 - in the second half, was the main Mavericks player.
Jerry Stackhouse was the real 6th man. He had scored 18 points, and his 12 points at the 4th quarter was the main reason for the 26 : 13 run.
Jarvis Hayes. This player was the big surprise. He scored 22 points, 18 of them at the 1st half, shooting with excellent percent - 10 from 13 shots.

Dissapointments:
Marquis Daniels had a bad game, shooting badly and scoring only 7 points.
Devin Harris. This young talent isn't playing so good how it was expected, His average is only 2 PPG after 3 games.
There was some lack of Gilbert Arenas. He missed lots of shots and scored only 10 points.

PHOTO GALLERY:
ImageImageImage
The good Diop's play at the first quarter. Jarvis Hayes was unstoppable in the second quarter. Jerry Stackhouse has just stolen the ball.

ImageImageImage
Dirk Nowitzki is enjoying good finish of the match. Antawn Jamison had 19 points and was shooting at .900 %. Arenas fine play at the end of the game.

ImageImage
Caron Butler has just fouled against Devin Harris. Jerry Stackhouse is doing all his best. He initiated the 8 : 0 run at the end of the game.

[ Raptors Boxscore ]

RECAP
The game started slowly, but the run 6 : 0 gave Mavericks lead 23 : 16. The end of quarter showed the advantage of Dallas 29 : 26. The second quarter was almost the same as the 1st, and it finished 55 : 52. The start of 3rd quarter was not promising. Almost 3 minutes was no point for Dallas and Raptors leads by 2, 57 : 55. But then the really game beagn for Mavericks. They showed good defense and didn't let Raptors to score more points. The end of quarter ended eith the 6 : 0 run for the Mavs 86 : 72. The 4th quarter began with the excellnt performance and Dallas took the lead 103 : 76. Later the head coach Avery Johnson led to play more for bench players, so the game finished 119 : 98. Another great victory by Mavericks!

The best players:
The best player was all the Mavericks team. 7 players scored more than 10 points.
The best players on Raptors were Mike James and Jalen Rose both scoring 21 points.

Dissapointments:
6 blocks and 6 points from Chris Bosh was not enough for team leader, although 6 blocks sounds amazing.

PHOTO GALLERY:

Devin Harris playing better and better since the start of the season. Josh Howard is penetrating to the penalty box and finishes with amazing dunk.

Mo Peterson shoots 3 pointer. Jalen Rose reminds about himself with 21 points. Devin Harris dunking.
