well I'll be damned....I guess it had to happen....although I'm pretty sure the embedded code I was referring to was the Live '05 one....

you got any plans for a Live '07 dynasty?!? looks like Live '07 is coming out around mid October (I asked guy at EB, I'm going to picked it up for the 360, I'll probably pick up Madden '07 next week)....you uni students have all the time in the world....I should know, I use to love all that free time to waste away....although, I do have to admit, you do have peak times when it's work, work, work, but that's always 2-3 weeks each term at most....the rest of the time is lax....although I was a procrastinator....

- Yeh, I was reading my old Live 05 dynasty and we were pretty gutted bout the Embeddled code killing my game after VC, Baron Davis and J Rich got on the same team lol... Still, I honestly have never seen the Warriors get into the postseason in any of my Live dynastys

Yeh, Live 07 should be in... i will try force myself to get it AFTER exams lol... dont wanna screw up cause i do have a lot of assesment in October due.. i think uni finishes by november so i will have plenty of time with the dynasty altho im also looking for a job... damn unemployment, i wanna buy the game myself as well as new bball shorts, ball and new shoes cause my shoes are too small.... (N)

And you're talking to the biggest procrastinator ever lol... but yeh, i got bored had lunch and headed to the computer room lol I feel like I aced that exam.. cept one question.. calculating National Savings... i knew i should have done some practise questions for that. Only one mark and it lies in the balance lol... i looked at a dude near me who had C while a chick in front had A and a guy behind had A so i went with A lol (Im a cheat too lol but seriously, who doesnt???)

Well... with the Live 07 dynasty, I will revert to my old style and try and add some new features... gotta learn how to make better looking images lol and yeh, i will do recaps as usual, have a player journal among ohter things... Just to tyr and make it more interesting. and for the first time in 4 NBA Lives... i will use a team not named the Lakers...

So yeh, looking forward to that seeing LA doesnt have many interesting scenarios and that was why i used them before... so u see, i will use a team that will be able to be used heaps in trading, etc... And Im also a realsim freak... so u may be able to guess my next dynasty team

And no... it aint New York lol  (I wouldnt mind making Balkman a star tho haha)

- Doesnt offend u or anything man??? I will call u that from now on :P

Yep, Phoenix was beaten by LA and GSW in the pac lol... and Spurs i htink suffered from Manu and parker getting injuries altho.. they arent doing tooo strong...

Chapter 23

Flo, Mark, Andrew and Srbija had returned from their latest scouting mission in Portsmouth. They were surprised to find Sit in his office when they got there in the morning with the scouting reports as Sit was always late to work.
“Early start today Sit?” Mark asked him as the four of them sat in his office.
Sit wasn’t smiling and threw a newspaper at them, “Check that out.”
“They’re looking for a driver who was involved in a hit and run,” Flo read out, “What’s this got to do with us?”
“Check out who they’re looking for.”
Flo looked down again, “The driver of a Cadillac Escalade…”
“And who drives that?” Sit asked the four of them.
They all thought for a bit before Srbija figured it out, “Griffin, he’s the only one I know who has one of them. Do you seriously think it was him?”
“Dude,” Sit laughed, “He’s always on crack and drinking. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was watching porn while he was drinking and driving and then hit this guy.”
The four laughed before Andrew asked, “But if you’re serious, what are you going to do about it?”
Sit then said, “I need you guys to help me get to him first before the police get to him. We don’t need the bad publicity.”
Then Sit’s office’s door swung open with Anthony and Henry at the door. The two led Eddie Griffin into the room.
“What do you want?” Griffin rudely shouted at Sit.
“Look at the paper,” Sit said, “You know what you did. I want everyone out of here except for Srbija and Eddie.”
The rest of the people left the room and Griffin sat down in front of Sit.
“Did you do it?” Sit asked him calmly.
“Do what?” Griffin angrily asked.
“Were you involved in this hit and run?” Sit asked him.
Griffin replied, “I didn’t do anything ok? Stop thinking I’m a criminal.”
“You were a little while ago,” Sit shrugged, “Seriously dude, be honest with me.”
“Why don’t you believe me? It’s because we have a beef isn’t it?”
Sit shook his head and grinned, “You don’t know how lucky you are we got to you first man. Look, I don’t think the cops are stupid. They’re going to find out how many of the Cadillac’s had been driving through that area that night and then they’re going to track you down.”
Eddie Griffin remained stubborn, “I’m not scared because I did jack all.”
“Fine, don’t admit it then,” Sit rolled his eyes, “When you’re arrested, I won’t be there to help you.”
“I don’t need your help man,” Eddie blurted out before Sit’s phone rang.
“Hello?” Sit answered before listening to his secretary speak, “Ok, let them in then.”
Sit put the phone down and turned to Srbija, “Srbija, take Eddie Griffin into the bathroom.”
Srbija nodded and stood up and grabbed Griffin who stood up co-operatively. Srbija led Griffin to a door and opened it. Griffin walked in and Srbija closed the door behind them. Just as the bathroom door closed, Sit’s office door opened and there stood a man whom Sit had not seen in a while.

Reshawn Tyson covered his face with his palms and waited outside the operating theatre. His little brother was undergoing a heart transplant and Tyson didn’t dare leave his brother’s side during the many hours that were to pass. Mrs Tyson, Rocky Akonnor and Alex Sotirov all sat together in the corridor. It was a long wait before the doctor came back out with the good news.
“Your son’s operation was very successful,” the Doctor said to Mrs Tyson.
Reshawn stood up quickly and walked over to him, “Thank you so much Dr Mafia.”
Dr Mafia smiled, “It’s a pleasure to help a future NBA star’s family.”
Reshawn beamed, not from the praise but from happiness, “I’m not a future star.”
Dr Mafia held his hand out wanting to shake his hand, “I like a player with talent who is also modest. I hate egos and maybe you can play for my Lakers one day.”
Reshawn shook the doctor’s hand, “If they get rid of Kobe, I would join them.”
Dr Mafia laughed, “Well, not sure if they would since they are on a tear but they might trade him for you. You never know!”
Reshawn nodded and smiled, “Thanks for your kind comments.”
The doctor then turned back to Mrs Tyson, “You may see your son later in Room 253.”
Mrs Tyson was genuinely happy for the first time in years, “Thank you Doctor.”
Dr Mafia left the small group before Tyson’s cell phone rang and he picked up.
“Hey Reshawn,” the voice on the phone said, “It’s me Thierry.”
“Oh-Thierry!” Reshawn happily spoke to his one-tme agent.
“I just wanted to say congratulations for winning the Freshman of the Year!” Thierry referred to Reshawn’s ACC award.
“Thanks a lot.”
Thierry added, “And I wish your little brother luck with his operation.”
Reshawn was still beaming, “Well, as a matter of fact, the operation was a success!”
“That’s great to hear!” Thierry stated, “Well, I’ve got to go now and good luck with the future Reshawn. We will keep in touch.”
Reshawn said goodbye to Thierry and hung up. He turned to follow the others to see Tayshawn Tyson.

A tall man with a goatee stood in the entrance to Sit’s office.
“Detective,” Sit nodded at him.
Vince Thompson moved forward into the office and into Sit’s view.
“Long time no see,” Vince Thompson said to Sit.
Sit was a bit surprised, “Whoa, it’s you…”
Thompson walked forward and took a seat, “Ok, let’s get down to business, I’m looking for Eddie Griffin.”
Sit laughed, “And why would you come here looking for him?”
Thompson was serious as ever, “We couldn’t find him at his house and we believe that he’s got something to do with a case we are investigating.”
“Why do you think it’s him?”
Thompson tapped the top of the table, “Not many people drive an Escalade. Only rich people do and plus, we have video of Griffin leaving the airport car park on the night of the accident, which incidentally happened at a location near there.”
Sit shrugged, “Sorry but I can’t help you.”
Thompson then made it clear, “If you’re hiding anything, you have to tell us. We only want him for questioning.”
Sit smiled and stood up, “Look, I don’t want to be a bitch or anything since the last time we talked was when we on good terms man. But I got to ask you to leave my office right now.”
Thompson stood up, “Don’t mess with the police Sit, you don’t want to get into this shit again.”
Sit then shouted, “Get out!”
Suddenly the bathroom door opened and Srbija literally flew out of the room. Eddie Griffin stood there and came out looking down at Srbija.
“That’s for trying to stop me bitch!” Griffin stared down at the security guard.
Vince and Sit looked at Griffin who turned to talk to them, “I have nothing to hide, let’s go and I will answer all your damn questions.”
Vince walked over to Griffin and hand-cuffed him before leading him out of the office.
“Dead man walking,” Srbija gasped as he lay on the floor.

Reshawn Tyson was alone in the room with his little brother Tayshawn.
“Hey buddy,” Reshawn said softly to his brother, “You down with me going to the NBA?”
Tayshawn giggled, “You’re not going to beat Stevie are you?”
Reshawn laughed out loud, “Of course I’m going to beat him champ. The Franchise has nothing on me lil bro!”
Tayshawn coughed and Reshawn told him to take it easy and not to talk anymore, “You got to rest- ok boy?”
Tayshawn nodded before a man with a camera stormed in. Then another man that Reshawn recognised walked in too; it was Stephon Marbury of the New York Knicks.
“Hey little man!” Marbury called out to Tayshawn.
Marbury walked past Reshawn and gave the younger Tyson a high five.
Reshawn was lost for words and he turned to see if there was anyone he could ask about why a Knicks player was visiting his brother. Marbury talked to Tayshawn a little before letting the kid get some rest.
Marbury then talked to Reshawn, “Hey dawg, what’s up?”
Reshawn shook Marbury’s hand, “Not much man. Thanks for seeing my little brother.”
Marbury smiled, ‘No sweat man. It’s all for charity yo and man, it’s good that kids like him get happy from just meeting me. It’s an honour and I’m all about helping the kids from the hood.”
Reshawn nodded, “You stay true to your roots man.”
Marbury waved his hand in Reshawn’s face, “That’s the most important thing for you man. When you turn pro, just make sure you’re still true to where you cam from. Remember that.”
Reshawn nodded again in acknowledgement before Stephon Marbury and his cameraman left. Reshawn turned to look at his brother who was fast asleep with a big grin on his face. Reshawn went to sit in the chair by his brother’s bedside and fell asleep in it soon after.

Mark Moore was sitting courtside and directing the Wolves’ first pre-draft workout. Jing Xu was filling up the water bottles on the sideline.
“Hey, don’t mix alcohol with the water!” yelled Mark.
Jing waved him off, “Yeah, yeah- You think I’m crazy man?”
On the court, Haji Iwanaka and Johnny Ibeabuchi went at each other in the one-on-one drill. They were the two big names of this workout as the other two players were of unknown status to any ordinary NBA fan. The reason for those two being there was to see if Iwanaka could dominate on defense.
“What do you think?” Mark asked Andrew.
His Kiwi friend looked down at his clipboard, “Haji is strong and athletic and does hold his own on defense. That’s great although his offensive moves are a bit iffy. He needs to improve on his footwork.”
Mark then suddenly stood up to stop the drill and tell the players to get a drink.
Flo walked up to whisper to him, “Johnny is showing he’s more experienced but I want to see if he can be effective in creating his own shot.”
Mark whispered back, “He’s getting killed by Haji.”
“Give him another chance,” Flo said to Mark before turning to join Andrew on the sideline.
Mark motioned for Haji and Johnny, “I want the two of you to go one on one from the free throw line. Johnny, you have the ball and only get two dribbles to create your own shot.”
The two players nodded as the other two sat down on the sideline to watch the two Nigerian players start the drill.
Mark returned to his seat and spoke softly to Flo, “What do you think?”
Flo replied, “Haji has the size advantage for sure but I’m sure Johnny would be a good role player.”
Mark laughed, “I don’t think we will take a role player at a high pick.”
Flo shrugged, “Well, we can always trade down.”
Mark shook his head, “Nah, I don’t like him that much. Haji is better.”
Haji stayed close to Johnny and at first it seemed that Johnny had faked him out. The smaller player going to his right but as he went up for the lay up, Haji reached over from behind and swatted the shot. Johnny was on the floor, hitting the timber and cursing at himself.
“That will be it boys, hit the showers,” Mark called out.
As the four players left the court; Andrew, Mark and Flo talked about the workout.
Andrew briefed them first, “Ok, I assume we’re looking at Haji and Johnny only. From what I saw, Johnny has a good shot from mid range and he’s a good passer. He made half of his three point shots and he’s also good at setting screens as we saw in the pick and roll drill.”
Flo agreed, “He’s good. He’s a good team player.”
Mark then spoke up, “We don’t want a team player.”
“We got to keep our options open,” Flo argued, “We might need to trade picks if needed.”
Andrew shushed them, “Well, sorry to be a pain but I got to tell you about Haji. He had a big size advantage. He’s got good instincts on defence and is athletic. He’s a project though.”
“If I had to choose one, I’d choose Haji,” Mark said to Flo and Andrew.
Flo continued to argue, “Look, I think Johnny is good enough to play for us.”
Mark put his hands in the air, “No offense Flo but I am a fan of Haji and not Johnny. You got our priorities wrong damn it.”
Flo rolled his eyes, “If you say so.”
Flo stormed off the court and Mark shrugged, “Yeah, he’s being very mature.”
Andrew shook his head and walked away as well.
