Wow, great magazine. I would do some cyberfaces for you and pictures, but my NBA Live stopped working for I don't know what reason. :(
But great dynasty, (Y)

Kobe4mvp, dang man you betta get LIVE up and running man! lol I really need those screenshots brawtha! lol just kidding, it's the thought that matters, so thanks man!

lebron, thanks bro I appreciate it. all i hope is that I entertain u guys a bit

boomdizzle, thanks man, SOFO is going to be a monster for me. I'm going to put EB on the injured list until the REAL EB comes back. I might play SOFO at center when EB comes back.

I just finished a few more magazine articles, an AL THORNTON one and a Mickael Gelabale one. The Thornton didn't come out as good as I had hoped, but the Gelabale one is REALLY GOOD- very happy with how it came out.

You know... usually that would look bad, but somehow you made having the text run off the page look alright.

Thornton's going to be big for you man... Can feel it.

I'd play Al as more of a SF than a PF though. He's such a monster athletically, I hope he'll be able to put up ROY numbers for ya.

asdf, I think you're right. Thornton's going to have a great rookie season. I plan on using his strengths and working that midrange game of his and his athletics, he should be able to produce 15 points and decent boards.

the x, thanks a lot man. I noticed it was you who brought his thread back from the dead- that's a lot for that. i was checking this site out again and was surprised to see this thread was still around.

jing, Thanks man, i'm kinda rusty. still trying to get in the flow of things, expect my next projects to be better. there's a rule of thumb i keep in mind- if you break the rules, it better be good. i broke the page border and i don't think it looks that great, so i'll do better next time. you can bet, i'm going to break the rules, next time i'll make it look good!

mark. good seeing you again man. stay tuned, i got some good stuff coming up.

kobe4mvp, you got it man, i'm gonna do my best!

got a rumor to report....

I initially wanted to present the animation is flash format, but this board won't display it. that sucks, flash files are usually smaller and higher quality. here's the link to the flash file if you curious. gotta resize it a bit though-

Pietrus will be a nice addition to the team, but I've got knots in my stomach seeing that Corey might be dealt. Maggette's a dumb, injury prone, turnover-prone, defenseless machine, but he'lll always have a place in my heart with his reckless drives to the basket and his bazillion freethrow attempts each night.

Yeah I like Pietrus, I think he would fit your team well, but I dont think there is room for him and Maggette on your team. Nice work on the Newspaper and flash file/.gif, just a minor criticism... I would maybe slow down the transistions between images in the .gif by maybe 1 or 2 seconds, I think its just slightly too fast, and theres nothing wrong with it staying for 1 or 2 secs too long (Y)

Keep it up, very entertaining.

You traded MAggette for Pietrus, are you nuts? Im a diehard Warrior fan and MAggette is much much better than Pietrus. You say Maggette is turnover prone, well Pietrus is about 10 times worse. Ellis is a nice pickup whats he rated in your game?
Anyways SICK layouts how do you get the rotating stories? Nice work... (Y) (Y)

Okay, I need to give you this year's philosophy when it comes to GMing this team.

I want to find diamonds in the rough and develop into really good players, that's going to be the theme of this dynasty. I really wanted Loul Deng, but I didn't want to stack my team.

Pietrus is very underrated, I think he's going to become a star in my dynasty. he plays with limitless energy and is a great athlete, so basically Maggette with defense.

Monta reminds me of a young Arenas, back up this season and maybe he's going to take over for Sammy.

Gelabale is a more athletic version of quentin Ross and Petros is taller and more of a shot blocker then Paul Davis.

Magazine articles are coming up next!
----------------------------------------------
nbarules, lol, you're not the first person to question my sanity! I personally like the trade. I really need a PG too. if you thought the trade was crazy... all this is for live 2008! lol i'm just setting up my dynasty. the animation is a gif file made in adobe imageready

rl564411, thanks for checking in man. i got a some killer spreads coming!

mark, thank you for the advice, i incorporated into my gif (Y) you rock

asdf, I know what you mean man, I was a big corey fan. last year, he just killed me. couldn't take it anymore, he'll make a great offensive play on one end, and they totally fukk it up on the defensive end. no more roller coaster ride for me this year. 8-)

I feel you Devin, I always love trying to find that player that no one counts on and just get them to make a complete 180 and start owning the league. Pietrus feels perfect for that kind of role, although he's kind of like Maggette because his basketball I.Q. is worse than a sack of Potatos, but I guess he's a few years younger and hasn't hit his prime yet.

Monta Ellis is godly though. I don't like undersized two guards, but Ellis is one of the very few exceptions for me.

Hey; for some reason, on both the computers in my house, I can't seem to view this trade article... I know that you got Monta, Gelabale and Pietrus but I don't know the full details.

Though I haven't been replying, I have followed this whole thing; since it first started. Good luck. Clippers for the 8th seed!

Yes! I get some support for this trade! :) thanks guys

thanks for checking in Lamrock! here's a link to the trade story - http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/5751 ... desyh5.gif

it's an animated gif. What I tried to do was replicate nba.com's website. it's been done before and guys have animated one huge gif, representing the entire site. i decide to break it down to HEADER, MAIN FRAME(animated) and SIDE. animating only one image, should save on your load time, but it looks like even that's not working out well enough.

It's a shame the board doesn't support .swf/flash files :*(

I have some KILLER graphics coming up guys, stay tuned!

not the trade that I expected, but good nonetheless....both trades seem reasonable to me & fair....the Warriors don't get stung on this trade as they faced prospect of losing Pietrus with no compensation....Maggette fills void left by departure of JRich, but at a cheaper price....

one query though, what happens if Pietrus signs with another team IRL?!?
