Kobe Bryant again led the Lakers in the 2nd half,
scoring 11 of his 19 in the final period.

Los Angeles Lakers had a slow start and trailed 9-2 early in the period. But Lakers led by Odom slowly came back into the game and grabbed the lead at 20-18. Then Lakers ended the quarter with a 10-6run to make it 30-24 going to the 2nd quarter. Lakers continue to play well and extended their lead to 10 points, 39-29 with just 3 minutes gone by in this quarter. Raptors tried to come back and cut the deficit to 4 points but Lakers once again ended the quarter with a run to make it a 9 point lead, 50-41 at halftime.

In the 3rd quarter, Lakers extended the lead to 14 points, 57-43. But Rose and George teamed up and led the Raptors and slowly cut the deficit to single digit. at the end of the quarter, Raptors successfully madde the it a close ballgame, trailing by just 4 points, 67-63. In the period, Raptors tied the game at 71-all and grabbed the lead for good at 73-71. But after that, it was all Lakers. Bryant scored 11 points in this quarter to help the Lakers again took a 9-point lead, 84-75. But again, a Raptors run cut the deficit to 4 points with just 2 minutes left in the game. Both teams traded baskets and Lakers still led by 4 pints. Raptors then gamble by fouling the Lakers but Lakers made almost all their fre-throws to win this game 94-89 for their 8th straight wins.

...from the Extreme Archives of the 2005 Birdie Project: (info)

Micchy Boy's Laker 2005-06 quarter-season Birdie Breakdown:
Image

Chris Mihm renews his basketball convictions and after journeying through several franchises, the extra year with the Lakers has paid dividends- almost edging Bryant for Team MVP honors. Alas, Bryant still manages and edges for the accolade with a weighted Birdie score of 22.70- and his 'reversible' Live Card is now enabled.

WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!:
This Dynasty instance is currently ranked #1 on the 2005 Birdie Board

yeah, i forgot to edit Bogut's #. it will be better to see both Bogut and Bosh as a starters with Marshall as their 6th man.

Solid win over the Raptors, I hope to see more out of the dynasty though. I know it's taken a big hit, but I'm hoping you can get fully back on track.
