Check that out ladies.
Bron is in Toronto.
Shit that is crazy. Him and Bosh gonna tear it up.
That's crazy !
Haha I have a Orlando Magic Dynasty and I have Diaw and Jeffries on it too.
Jeffries will grow out to be like a 7'2 Guard which is sick.
And you know what Diaw posesses so use em well.
Good luck.

Boris Diaw is way better than DeShawn Stevenson if you manage to train his athleticism ...... Jared Jeffries can be a beast at the defensive end ... and this rookie, well I cant say anything about him !

Bron makes it to the Raptors... well, that shows a weak character, he should have stayed in Cleveland and make a next try after the finals vs dallas.

Josh Howard to New Orleans is big, but since "CP3" is in Cleveland, they wont win anything !

Looks cool, I love progressed dynasties (hope I can update mine, been busy with school)
Good Luck this season Marquis !!

Yes, I'm gonna train his athleticism. I really hope he will be one of the team leaders. And Jeffries is the player really needed for the team. Excellent bench player!
I also love dynasties with lots of changes in the team's rosters, that makes really interesting game.

Jing wrote:hm trading that 5th pick.. big mistake muahha. 8-)

Yeah really, when I saw this trade in the news section I was like wtf, Wizards are retarted to trade the 5th pick for EBI!

Isaiah wrote:LeBron to TORONTO?! the start of a new era up North of the border!

EXCELLENT SIGNINGS!! really made use of your cap room...

you didnt resign a lot of the Magic's long-time players, so i look forward to the new-look Orlando Magic roster this coming season. (Y) and great coverage btw.

Thanks. Yeah Toronto will be really strong this year. Interesting to follow them.

Anthony15 wrote:  LeBron to Toronto. How could u not sign him!??? I think ur dynasty would be great if u signed LeBron. But Boris and Jared will help u a lot!

I was short of money to buy him, but I think it is good with the players I got.

Thierry² wrote:Wow Bron Bron to Toronto! They have a really good team now. But I think you signed 2 good players in Diaw and Jeffries, and they can help you.

Yes I was thinking about the same. Raptors will rule this year. And Diaw with Jeffries sure will help me.

Mark. wrote:Well there goes the Cavs future for awhile, I like that you didnt sign Lebron, would have made your team too strong, I like the Diaw signing, what position are you going to use him at considering he can play all 5, I would go with him at center, would mean you could chuck the ball into him in the post to create for Howard or kick back out.

Looking forward to seeing your roster for the next season (Y)

Well yeah I was not planing to sign him for that reason that he would make my team very strong, but I was also short of money to sign him.
And Diaw position will be very hard to decide. Maybe center, maybe not.
The next season should begin soon. I'm hesitating of doing some dbf trades between teams that are really need some position players, but not sure.

YoG! wrote:Nice signings in Diaw and Jeffries

Thanks.

Shing wrote:Wow some big changes for Toronto! Cool dynasty as always, Marquis! (Y)

Thanks. Hope you will start winning in your dynasty..

I knew you will like these changes in Toronto. James and Bosh will do great for them!
Nice that you also had dynasty with these players, like me.
Thanks.

Ye we all knew it would be coming.
Bye bye Alvin Williams as well.
You did good for the Raps organization.
I wonder who will take over Hill's position ?
Maybe trade for Marquis ;) ?

Sat May 20, 2006 2:34 am

Mark., Thx. Well their good days are in the past.

cklitsie, Interesting idea! I didn't think about that. But now I really want him trade to Orlando lol

Jing, Theo seems a bit dumb, having 1 year left in his huge contract with dallas and retiring

Sam., Well i'm thinking of Diaw replacing Hill at the SF position, but if you guys want the trade for Daniels, i would do it! He is one of my favourite players 8-)

Sat May 20, 2006 3:20 am

I didn't know ur a fan of Marquis
Hmm maybe you should be like the Suns, put Diaw as centre.
SF is good too but I like the concept that he can play that position and take em inside or outside.
What does your lineup look like ?

Sat May 20, 2006 9:59 am

No one knew you like Marquis
Trade for him bro
(Y)

Sun May 21, 2006 8:47 am

 Well he is not my favourite player, just one of the favourites lol
I have Howard, Nelson, Diaw, Milicic, Jeffries, Dooling, Arroyo, Ariza and some drafted guards. I will post the rosters with all ratings later.

Nice tribute magazine to Grant Hill. NBA Live is so messed up with the age of retirement though. People retiring at 34?

It's all good.
You can still make a story outta it. Haha.
Can be like Grant Hill retired due to injuries or something like that.

Tue May 23, 2006 12:56 am

Hmm... You chose my second favourite team (Orlando) and there are no other ones here that are active on this forum so I guess I'll have to follow this one for sure. (Y)

It sucks you didn't re-sign DeShawn, but I like the fact that you've gottten Diaw as insurance and Jefferies is a fantastic intangibles guy because can do so many other things than score.

I like your off-season acquisitions, but you might be a little thin on big guys, I recommend that you sign a 3 string centre/pf, just in case.

Or since you've already gotten 2 younger rookie guards, you should trade away Dooling or Arroyo to upgrade your centre to better compliment Dwight.

Tue May 23, 2006 2:11 am

keepnitgangsta1, Thanks. I think that retiring at 34 is quiet normal, injuries can cause you retire even earlier.

Sam., yes exactly. Injuries plagued his carrier and I think he will retire soon in real life.

Its_asdf, Yeah follow this one. :) Well glad that you liked my offseason. About Stevenson, I wanted to resign him, but thought that it would be better if I sign better players at free agency, because I was a bit short of money. (about 20 millions waived salaries were in my team, when i got it, i think it is due to dbf editing, when i traded Francis from here at the previous offseason) So I had to use only left money. Preseason games will show how strong is my froncourt, so i will think about trade after that, also I will need to trade for Marquis Daniels, all guys wanted me to do this 8-)

FIRST PRESEASON GAME SHOWS HOW WEAK MAGIC ARE

October 11, 2007
Air Canada Center, Toronto

Image

At the first preseason game this year Orlando Magic couldn't do anything for the win.
They were playing terrible, especially on offense. Only 31 points at the first half.
Later Raptors showed their amazing offense with James and Bosh exploding.
Magic topscorer was only with 14 points tonight, some players were simply struggling.
Boris Diaw didn't score any points, as well as sophomores Ramsey and Hill.
Also need to mention that Magic backcourt was terrible, frontcourt was quite good.
Now they are looking forward to another game and hopefully better performance.

Thu May 25, 2006 2:24 am
