Sun Feb 04, 2007 10:53 pm

Nice win ! This will be so damn exciting. It just seems like you win when the Suns struggle around the basket although Boris Diaw had an amazing game, seems like he has his breakout party in the playoffs.

I wish you good luck in the last game of the series !

BASiC, Thanks man, I already played Game 7, currently making the recap...

bgmakso, Yeah I hate Phoenix too, except some players(Amare, Shawn and Diaw)

King_Lebron, Thanks a lot man...

~=The Game=~, Thanks dude, I'd actually like to see it too..

Aircam, Oh yeah go Kobe..

Isaiah, Thanks man, I'm making the recap, I'll post it soon..

Sacke12, Hope so too, thanks btw..

bgmakso, Thank you..

hova-, Yep, you're absolutely right, cause Marion and Stoudemire are dominant forces, but sometimes Nash passes the ball to the smaller guys and they start missing shots, then I use the situation and take the game.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm glad you like and always check my dynasty!

Lakers win 4-3

The Los Angeles Lakers win the first round series against Phoenix Suns. Lakers now are heading to the second round to play against Houston Rockets.
None of the two teams played particularly well in the first half, Lakers winning by one, but ended the second with a tie.
Steve Nash helped his team for a strong start with a three-point play. Then Boris Diaw poured in four points and Lakers had to call a timeout. After it, Kobe and co. got back. They played exceptionally well on defense and managed to successfully finish at the offensive end. They got the lead with 3 minutes to go, but ot was taken back by Suns. They managed to play the rest of the minutes with a 10 to 6 result and had a four point lead heading into the last quarter.
At the start of the last quarter, Lakers suffered some losses, Smush Parker collected his 5th foul and had to sit down. But Jordan Farmar filled him pretty well, finished with 5 assists. Tyrus Thomas helped his team-mates Kobe and Lamar lead their team to the victory. Lakers had an unstoppable offensive engine, but on defense had some problems and were fouling very often. Suns were pretty good at the free-throw line and didn’t miss many shots. Heading into the last minute of the game Lakers were leading by three points, but then Luke Walton achieved a three-point play, stole the ball, got in another lay-up and Lakers were leading by eight. He stole another ball seconds later, Kobe finished with a jumper and Lakers had the win in their hands.

Great job, I'm just glad you won this serie!! Great D on this one, keeping the Suns at 95 pts is a very good job!

Kobe was just phenomenal, Odom played good too, 13 boards is great!

Now focus on series against Houston, it's gonna be tough...

Just noticed that Cleveland isn't in the playoffs, kinda strange...

 That block from STAT!

Mon Feb 05, 2007 1:53 am

Nice :D Good to see you winning the series

Mon Feb 05, 2007 2:17 am

~=The Game=~, Thanks man :) Yeah I was sad Cavs didn't make it, but they had some tough times in the season like the 11-game loosing streak...

King_Lebron, thanks a lot dude..

-km-, Yeah I almost forgot about the awards and you reminded me, thanks man...

Isaiah, Yeah I knew that, I really concentrated on defense especially on Amare and Shawn, that probably helped me the most...

Thanks to all of you guys, I'm glad you like my dynasty...

Mon Feb 05, 2007 3:35 am

Great win man (Y)
I hope you'll beat Rockets :)

Mon Feb 05, 2007 3:42 am

Good win! After beating the Suns you should beat the Rockets easily.

Mon Feb 05, 2007 5:58 am

WooT! You won! I like the suns personally, but I wanted the Lakers to win in 2006 (Lakers vs. Clippers would rock, plus the Suns were practically a lost cause without Amare). Good luck against the Rockets. Be sure to steal home court advantage from them. Also, the Spurs all the sudden look vulnerable, loosing two games to the 8th seed Clippers after a 70+ win season. Nice job on Getting Kobe on All-1st teams, and getting Tyrus on All-Rookie 1st Team.

Mon Feb 05, 2007 6:28 am

Nice win, you made it through to the second round, good job! :D
Now go and get them Rockets  Good luck!

Mon Feb 05, 2007 11:56 am

good to see u were able to get your rooks on all rookie teams. rarity for LA (Y)

Wed Feb 07, 2007 8:53 pm

Good job on the Win dude, I look forward to the next series, will be interesting to see how the Kobe vs T-Mac match up will go.

Ben should have been defensive player of the year, and KG or Kobe should have been MVP IMO

Keep it up (Y)

Lakers lead 1-0

The Los Angeles Lakers win Game 1 in the series against Houston Rockets. Lakers now gain the homecourt advantage.
Lakers gained a four point lead after the first one, but lost the second by ten and had a six point deficit heading into the second half.
Lakers started off strongly by pouring in 10 points in the first three minutes(7 points from Tyrus Thomas), but Rockets were doing good too. They had some problems defensively, but their offense was very good. Yao Ming collected his 4th foul in the middle of the quarter and sat down. Then it was Tracy McGrady doing the one man show. He poured in 11 points in the left minutes and raised his Rockets a little. But Kobe and co. did the best job at the end as they takeover the lead and won the quarter by two.
Lakers didn’t play particularly better than Rockets in the next quarter, but Rockets still had some big issues defensively. Stopping Tyrus Thomas was an impossible task for them. Kobe didn’t had to play like in all of the game against Phoenix(score 30+ points), he had some time to rest and watched as his team-mates were doing a great job. Especially Smush Parker who finished with 16 points, 7 assists and four steals. Kwame Brown was injured at the end of the quarter while colliding with Yao Ming. Lakers trainer Gary Vitti later reported that he will be available to play, but his gameplay will be worse. Heading into the last minute Lakers had a one point lead, but after Kobe’s dunk it was raised to 3. Then Bob Sura answered with a quick trey, but Tyrus Thomas was successful at the other end. Rockets’ quick trey was missed and then Bynum was fouled. He missed both free-throws and Lakers had to defend the rest of the time. After Tracy McGrady’ game-tying jumper(he posted 40 points in the game), Lakers had six more seconds. They got the ball to Kobe’s hands who drove in and finished with an unbelievable lay-up over Yao Ming and T-Mac, leaving Rockets 0.7 seconds to go. They couldn’t answer and Lakers celebrated the win the hard win.

Nice win, it's important to get a good start. You had a very balanced attack.
Good luck in the next game! (Y)

Great win, Tyrus played really well, another very exciting game, I'm really feeling it, it was worth waiting 5 days! (Y)

Good job on making the teams also, even if it's not really a surprise!

Sat Feb 10, 2007 4:05 am

WOW I missed a lot in this dynasty. First of all congrats for making to the conference semis and defeating Suns 8-) Heh pretty weird MVP you had, the other awards were reasonable I think.

Good job on this victory, Bryant managed to make the final layup. Yay for Kobe!

And Smush's stats in this game were damn good. Good luck at the next game. I think you should defeat Rockets easier than Suns and make it to the conference finals..

Sun Feb 11, 2007 4:54 am

Sacke12, Thanks man. Yeah I discovered some new abilities of my other bench players that hadn't contributed well in the past, that's why my offense was so good.

~=The Game=~, Thanks a lot... Tyrus was unstoppable in the second half, pretty strange since Battier was defending him and he's a good one..

Marquis, Yeah, I don't even remember the last time I saw you here... Good to have you back. A lot of good shit happened, hope series against Rockets will be a good shit too..

Thanks for the comments guys, really appreciate it, you know it!
