Nice 6th man analysis. Looks like Al is only a sixth man in your dynasty, too.
I do not think he is satisfied with that .. maybe he is interested in joining his old team ;)

Fri Jan 12, 2007 5:11 am

Hmm. A while since your last update. What's up?

Well it is about two or three days ... you should really respect that. Holidays are over and people got other things to do. So dont be that impatient

Fri Jan 12, 2007 1:55 pm

I know. The only reason I say anything is because he usually updates once or twice a day. I totally understand. ;)

Sat Jan 13, 2007 1:51 am

Marquis, Well there weren't anyone, but just them... I saw only one left player averaging 8.0 ppg, but his other stats were absolutely terrible... I don't remember who was it...

Lamrock13, Well maybe you're right... Playing in-game and simulation are two different things and since I lost 2 of 4 games you're maybe right... Barbosa wasn't doing good as he's doing in real-life, I just couldn't put him there...

Raps13, Sorry I couldn't answer....

sonic_313, Thanks for the help...

hova-, :) You wish...

Lamrock13, Well I was out for a while... I had to take on my school work and shit since it's the end of semester... Got some great grades and now I'll be updating this dynasty...

Thanks for all the comments guys, I was out for while, but now I'm back and I'll be continuing on updating this dynasty...

Box Scores

Nuggets-140(OT)

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a loss and ended their big winning streak. Lakers kept their position as 6th in the west and 2nd in pacific rankings.
Denver gained a 1 point lead after the first one, but were forced to give it up in the second as Lakers outscored them by 6 for a 5 point lead after the first half.
Lakers were blowing out Nuggets in the third quarter, Nuggets scored only 2 points in the first 5 minutes of the quarter. Lakers then gained a 25 point lead. But Earl Boykins hit a trey and then Nuggets started their free-throw streak. Lakers were fouling like never before and Nuggets were hitting ft’s pretty easily. Made 14 of 18 in the third quarter. Lakers were led by Lamar Odom and Kobe Bryant, since Smush Parker fouled out in the third quarter and gave much time to his substitution Jordan Farmar who collected his career-high 7 steals. Also he finished with 16 points and 6 assists.
Kobe played really great in the last quarter, putting in 16 points, getting many dimes from Lamar Odom and Lakers were on a roll. But didn’t noticed how they again started fouling and Denver was making ft’s. They made 17 of 22 in the last quarter. Denver managed to magically force an overtime, posting 7 points in the last minute. Lakers were stunt and had to fight in overtime.
Kobe fouled out at the beginning of the overtime and that was a major loss for the Lakers. They managed to continue to fight, got unbelievable help from Brian Cook who played 4 minutes and scored 10 points in the overtime, but were forced to accept the defeat. Lamar Odom was a rebound shy from a triple-double, with 25 points, 13 assists and nine boards. Kobe collected 41 points and 5 dimes. Tyrus Thomas posted a double-double with 15 rebounds and 10 points.

Sweet pics as always, but tough loss

Sat Jan 13, 2007 10:17 am

Nice update! Sounds like a great game. Too bad about the loss, but you are where you want to be.

Sat Jan 13, 2007 3:01 pm

Tough loss but shit happens

Sat Jan 13, 2007 9:31 pm

Wow, Nuggets burned you in the 4th. Nice game by Melo + AI slamming like he did 10 years ago ;)

You stayed 6th, that is the only important thing.

Sun Jan 14, 2007 1:40 am

Man 54 pts in the 4th!!! That's just incredible!!

Well good game anyway, and good luck, try to keep your 6th spot, and then just do the best you can in playoffs!!

Sun Jan 14, 2007 5:42 am

Marquis, Yeah if not the fuckin' fouling they'd probably had scored only somethin' like 20-30 points, no more...

Lamrock13, Yeah you're absolutely right, I didn't even imagine, I'll have such a good record...

Raps13, Too bad the shit came right now...

hova-, Yeah, that's strange seeing Answer slamming, I was shocked... (Though it's a great highlight)

French baller, Thanks man, I already clinched the playoffs spot so the only task is to keep the 6th spot...

Thanks for the comments guys really appreciate it..

Oh man, what a game from Thomas. Rookie of the Year you've got there. Kobe was being Kobe, but shoot badly. Basically you won with freethrows. 28 against
16. Good luck in the remaining season. And Thomas for ROY :D

Sun Jan 14, 2007 6:41 am

Good win in the rivalry game. Yea Kobe was shooting pretty bad, but he got 8 rebounds and 7 assists.

Sun Jan 14, 2007 8:51 pm

You showed the Clips you're still the kings of L.A, great game!

Mon Jan 15, 2007 2:03 am

-km-, Oh I'm far from making Thomas the ROY... His success came at the end of the season, while Morrison was going all season with like 16, 17 points per game.

Marquis, Yeah shooting actually sucked, don't know why, but he's missing a lot of treys lately...

French baller, :) for the third straight time...

Thanks for the comments guys!

Who will be the most improved player of the year?

This time we take a look at the top 3 players who have improved a lot from the last season. Here are your Most Improved Player(MIP) nominees…

Ben Gordon
Image

Chicago’s top player was outstanding this season. Played in all 78 games so far and started in 77 of them. Bulls are currently leading the eastern conference with a 49-29 record. Ben Gordon’s stats got better in all categories especially points per game(22.0 this year, 16.9 last year). GM's survey says he's the winner...
Stats(last year’s averages)
Points per game: 22.0(16.9)
Rebounds per game: 3.2(2.7)
Assists per game: 3.8(3.0)
Steals per game: 1.13(0.94)
Blocks per game: 0.35(0.06)

Damon Stoudamire
Image

Damon Stoudamire was a huge reason why the Grizzlies are currently 7th in the western conference. Last season Grizzlies were doing very great, taking the 5th spot, but not making a good run in the playoffs. One of the reason’s of that was Stuodamire, but this year he went high. He averaged career-high’s, in points per game and steals per game in 78 games. Though the Grizzlies aren’t that high as last year, but maybe this year, they can get their first playoff win in franchise history or even make to the second round.
Stats(last year’s averages)
Points per game: 20.6(11.7)
Rebounds per game: 3.3(3.5)
Assists per game: 6.6(4.7)
Steals per game: 1.60(0.70)
Blocks per game: 0.47(0.04)

Grant Hill
Image

The 11-year veteran’s having his first season where he’s averaging at least a single block per game .His improvement since last season is very bright and his team’s improvement can be seen also, Orlando’s 8th in the eastern conference with a 35-41 record, but Raptors and Cavs are right behind them… The success of the team depends on him, since he’s the only player to average 20 points per game.
Stats(last year’s averages)
Points per game: 21.1(15.1)
Rebounds per game: 7.3(3.8)
Assists per game: 4.7(2.3)
Steals per game: 1.79(1.14)
Blocks per game: 1.21(0.29)

Other runners

Carlos Arroyo, Antoine Walker, Andrew Bogut, Peja Stojakovic, Dan Dickau, Shareef-Abdur Rahim.

GM’s pick:
Image
Ben Gordon’s the winner

Mon Jan 15, 2007 3:49 am

Cpu likes Chris Paul and Dwight particularly for MIP..
I really hope Gordon will win it.

Mon Jan 15, 2007 5:31 am

I think Gordon will win, because I saw him quite often to be chosen by CPU. And his stats are incresed quite well in this season.

Mon Jan 15, 2007 2:57 pm

Hmm... If it weren't for the fact that Grant Hill used to put up much better stats, it would be easy to give it to him. Gordon should win it easily, unless some player that goes from 0.4 PPG to 4 PPG wins it. Can't wait for the next game.

BTW, I updated my 2K7 Association twice today. 17 games in the season left to play.

Tue Jan 16, 2007 12:46 am

-km-, Well I saw Gordon getting it several times in '07 so I think he'll win...

Marquis, You're probably right...

Lamrock13, Maybe, he's doing well, really well this season...

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm happy you're watching this one...

Tue Jan 16, 2007 1:41 am
