Maree wrote:woow, Livingston with 8 blocks. I have similar problems when i play against big men rookies. They always put up big numbers. Great win against rubbish Knicks.

Lamrock93 wrote:wtf 8 blocks? Is that a record for PG's?Thanks for posting stats (start Monta!) also. You should post standings. (Maybe a monthly around the NBA with standings, league leaders, stats, etc)
Nice win over a shit team. Good luck in the next game!
Sanguango wrote:Amazing recap out there. With the other phrase I meant sth like this: if this dinasty was great now its wonderful

- What happened to one of the hottest teams in November? The Denver Nuggets cooled off in December, going only 4-9 and falling to just 17-12. Allen Iverson is still averaging 28.7 points, and 8.2 assists for the season, but he struggled the past month, averaging 26.2 points and shooting just 36%. So if the "Answer" is scoring nearly as much, but shooting much worse, there must be a lot more offensive rebounds right? Right? Wrong. Kenyon Martin and Marcus Camby are averaging just 2.3 and 3.1 offensive rebounds per game, respectively. Denver fans should be getting worried about the team's lack of consistency.
- Maybe this year is this year. If Dirk Nowitzki can lead his team like he did in December, then it probably will be. Going an amazing 14-2 during the past month, to shoot up in the Western Conference standings. The German-born player averaged 29.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists in December, capturing the "Player of the Month" award. Despite losing key player, Devin Harris to free agency, Jason Terry has filled the void for the Mavericks. "I have to win the championship this year, anything less is a major failure.. again," Nowitzki said.
- Woah. Could anyone predict this? Jermaine O'Neal having a career year when he is 30 years old and after struggling with injuries the previous years? Marquis Daniels elevating his game to another level, averaging a career high, 19.5 points? Yes, the Indiana Pacers certainly are surprising more than a few NBA fans this season. While many analysts predicted, the PAcers would remain in the cellar of the Eastern Conference, Indiana has maintained the 2nd best record in the conference, at 21-9. Despite going 37-45 the previous year, and making no major improvements, the Pacers are off to a great start.
- The Boston Celtics sure aren't getting younger- but that doesn't mean one of the "Big 3" can't have his best season ever. Ray Allen is averaging almost 4 points better than previous best, dropping 30.3 points per game, and as taken the lead role on the veteran Celtic team. Currently, Boston is only 20-12, and only 5th in the East, disappointing considering their payroll, and their #1 seed status last season, but Allen is doing his best to keep the C's in championship contention. "I'm just making the open shots, that Paul [Pierce] and Kevin [Garnett] setup for me," Allen commented.
- Dylan Lloyd. Rik MacKenna. Derrick Ferguson. 3 talented rookies. 1 Rookie of the Year Award. Will it be MacKenna, the starting center for the Bucks who has won the both Eastern Conference Rookie of the month, and has averaged 19.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists the last month? Or is Ferguson, who despite being the most consistent rookie in the West, averaging 22.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists for the season, has yet to win a rookie of month award? Maybe its Lloyd who has averaged 22.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.7 blocks per game. The class of 2008 is shaping up to be one of the strongest yet.
