Damn Damon. Your Kobe was steady in two rounds with 17 points, but it was neaded more to go to the final round, although the winner at the final round scores only 15. Ray Allen should have been more realistic.
Good job presenting the ASW
Sun Dec 24, 2006 11:53 pm
Yeah, Michael Reed or Ray Allen shouldve took it, it was a OK performance by Kobe
but at least you did restart lol, nice dynasty real realistic, if i had a player of mine
going into the 3 point showdown i probably wouldve made him win it all lol.
Mon Dec 25, 2006 12:09 am
Sweet all star weekend. Damon's buzzer beater that was waived off against the Jazz last night was ridiclious.
Tue Dec 26, 2006 12:33 am
KB24, Thanks, glad to hear your interested...
Marquis, Well Kobe made the full last rack in the second round, if he didn't he'd only had 11
.Dee., Thanks, I agree with you... I wanted Allen to win, but he was only a 2 points from that...
Jing, Thanks,

Sorry guys, I wasn’t able to take any pics of the dunks, because that EA deleted the instant replay shit out of both the 3pt shootout and slam-dunk contest, once again EA has done it…
Tue Dec 26, 2006 3:03 am
Dwight Howard flies high eh?
Its kind of ironic because Chris Paul went to town on Howard's ass with that Dunk last night, you should have seen it if you got ESPN or something. I don't really agree with the choices for the contest... i mean.. Sheed??? come on. Also Kobe said he would never do a dunk contest again.
Tue Dec 26, 2006 8:13 am
Yeah it is never realistic since usually young fellas participate in the contest, but EA does never get it done when it comes to these participants. Not very hyped coverage, I understand since the All-Star weekend aint cool in live.
keep it up, hope you get it done soon and your Lakers start into the 2nd half of the season !
Tue Dec 26, 2006 10:26 am
Lets go LAL....make a strong push towards the playoffs.
Tue Dec 26, 2006 2:09 pm
What lighting do you use?
Tue Dec 26, 2006 9:11 pm
Jing, Yeah, Sheed doesn't belong there... I'd loved to see someone like Iguodala or even Nate, but now, It doesn't matter at all...
hova-, Yeah I'm finishing the weekend tonight, I have 28 more games to play...
KB24, Thanks, I hope I can do that..
7Demonater, Jimmy's V7 I think..

East surrenders to the West…
Played full game
Kobe played 28 minutes, scored 30 points, dished out 6 assists and took the MVP honors…
Box Scores
West-117
East-97
Western all-stars celebrated their first win after a two year break against the Eastern all-stars.
East started the game strongly by putting some powerful dunks into West’s basket, and earning an early 5 point lead. But it was evaporated quickly by Kevin Garnett who got 5 offensive boards in the first quarter. He scored all of his 8 points in the first quarter.
West ran a 10-0 run against East at the first two minutes of the second quarter. Tracy McGrady was the inciator with 5 points in those minutes. East got back quickly, with the help of Michael Redd, who scored 6 points in the second quarter. But West ended the second quarter with a 2 point lead.
Eastern all-stars were blown out by the West in the third quarter, they lost the quarter 34:18. Kobe was the leader, pouring in 15 points in the third quarter. Carmelo added 8, McGrady 7. West were playing very fast and accurate basket, they made 80 percent of their shots, but not forgetting the defense. They stole 5 balls from the East in the third quarter. One of the keys was rebounding, West all-stars got 24 rebounds in the third quarter.
Eastern All-stars remembered last year, how they eliminated the big deficit and tried to follow that example. Joe Johnson chipped in 12 points and with the help of LeBron James-9 points, East had only an 5 point deficit with 6 minutes to go. But Dirk Nowitzki and Kobe Bryant combined 20 points in the left minutes and were able to take the win after a two year break. Kobe Bryant was announced the MVP of the all-star game, with 30 points and 6 assists. It’s his second all-star game MVP award, first one was in 2002.

Wow, what a win by the West, and what a season so far for Kobe. I mean he participated in the dunk contest, the three point shootout and the ASG. He won the ASG MVP award, is a big candidate for the MVP of the season being the leading scorer of the league and also with the Lakers having a very good record. To be honest, I used to hate Kobe, but I kinda like now him since he changed his attitude a bit, and at least in your dynasty he is now earning what he deserves.
Keep it on !
/edit: also very cool to see JJ being the best player for the East !
Wed Dec 27, 2006 5:14 am
hova-, Thanks a lot man... Yeah Kobe's having one of the best seasons so far... I hope I can keep the Lakers on the winning track, I was really lucky so far, but tough matchups await in the upcoming month, against Suns, Nuggets and some other really strong opponents.

Yeah JJ was awesome, though he took to many shots, just like Arenas, that's why I think the East lost...
Wed Dec 27, 2006 5:33 am
ooh.... that all star game.. looks beautiful...
Wed Dec 27, 2006 6:31 am
Great dynasty, just read it all the way through. Great ASW coverage. Good idea to do make the Iverson trade go through. But how come Damon Stoudamire is always an all-starter while Steve Nash is MVP and he doesn't even make it. Stoudamire is garbage. Also, Grant Hill and Kirk Hinrich over D-Wade and AI? wtf...
Still, great dynasty, keep it up!
Wed Dec 27, 2006 6:38 am
Jing, I bet it does...
Lamrock13, Thanks man... Well you see guys like Steve Nash, Wade, AI have been having a really poor season this year, Wade averaging only over 21 PPG, Nash only 6.7 APG, AI, 22 or 24 PPG, all of them were injured as I remember, maybe that affected their performances. And yeah I agree with you Stoudemire didn't actually deserve that spot, I'd liked to see Baron Davis or Nash there. But as you known, it's not the popularity, it's the stats that give the place there. I hope Wade and Nash can get back up pretty soon.
Oh and the idea about the Iverson trade going through-I took it from Hova-

Hope you don't mind man!
Thanks for the comments and the support guys, I really appreciate it!

Box Scores
Lakers-119
Blazers-116
The Los Angeles Lakers won against Portland Trail Blazers in L.A. Lakers still are 3rd in the western conference, 1st in pacific division.
Both teams played a more offensive basketball in the first quarter, which ended by a result 36:32, in Blazers favor. Though in the second, Blazers forgot about it and were outscored by 7 points, losing their lead and suffering a 3 point deficit at the end of the first half.
Kobe Bryant started the third quarter strongly by banging a three-pointer with a foul. Lakers didn’t stop, played great defense, forced a steal and ended up successfully at the other end. Blazers were feeling a little stunt. But Charlie Villanueva got his team back on the track. He hammered the basket a couple of times and Blazers were looking a lot different, they got back their lead and continued to grow it. Dan Dickau scored 10 points in the left 6 minutes, but Lamar Odom made a 10-0 run, only by himself and gave his team a fragile 1 point lead at the end of the third period.
Kobe Bryant did it all in the 4th quarter to save his team. He scored 13 points and dished out 4 assists, Lamar helped with 8. Sergio Rodriguez played the crucial role for his team. He scored 16 of his 18 points in the last quarter, helping his team not to sink. He got some help from Raef LaFrentz, Blazers were able to be a pain in a neck for the Lakers. Lakers had a 5 point lead with one minute to go, but it was cut down to 2 after Rodriguez’s three-pointer. Then later, Blazers took the lead with 38 seconds to go. But Kobe was fouled twice and didn’t miss a free-throw, while Blazers were unable to score any points and suffered a loss.

Nice win over the Trailblazers. Kobe and Odom at their best. Kinda strange to see Charlie-V playing for the Blazers. Some of those trades above are not that bad. Marshall at Milwaukee could give them a boost.
And for sure the AI trade will affect the season (I dont mind you doing it, I think its even better since your dynasty gets more realistic then)
Ariza for Stevenson is kinda stupid in my opinion. At least at that point.
Ah and Dickau is rocking in your dynasty just like in mine .... strange.
keep it up !
Wed Dec 27, 2006 7:06 am
Yeah, Kobe played like me Kobe

Over 30 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists

Great game
Wed Dec 27, 2006 8:12 am
hova-, Actually I agree with all of your comments about the trades, except for Ariza for Stevenson... Stevenson is doing pretty good, he's averaging over 11 points per game, I think Orlando benefits a lot, since Ariza is a scrub in my dynasty, but you didn' t know that...
Aircam, Well in your dynasty he looks really constant and kinda unbeatable, though in my dynasty, he sometimes gets those 10+ point games..

Though sometimes, like once against (I think it was Warriors) Kobe scored over 60 points, well that was amazing... Some he's not very constant in mine, but I'm glad he's doing alright for you...
Thanks for the comments guys...
Wed Dec 27, 2006 8:50 pm
A lot of trades. And good that you did AI trade.
Sweet coverage of ASG
