Nice job on the MVP candidates recap. I like the Steve Kerr thing! Wow, Ray Allen and Billups are surprises but their stats are off the charts so why shouldn't they be MVP candidates? But very disappionting to see that Carmelo isn't in there with those kind of stats.

Our Best Loss yet!

13 Mar - Since I don't have the story to show you just yet... Just wanted to let everyone know about our team's best loss this season! To have a better idea... I wanna share with you our total team point production in our four preseason games; in order.

First game: 7
Second: 14
Third: 24
Fourth Game: (Last Friday night) 48

As you guys can see... we definitely played our best offensive game last week... and it was our closest margin too, of the preseason. Score: 54-48. It was awesome... the ref even came over to congratulate us on the loss. he said, "I seen you guys play and struggle to get to 10 in the first game. I'm just very impressed with your team tonight."

Overall, it was a great game... don't know if it's a coincidence that half the team wasn't at the game. Individually... I had a very bad first half. Two turnovers and two early missed shots, so I sat out on the bench for 5 minutes in the second quarter. Props to my mate Michael who kept us in the game at the time... same to our 'Kwame Brown' - Brian, whos tall and actually made his shots last friday night.

I had a better second half and finished with 15 in the game. 10 coming in the fourth quarter. My highlights was a fadeaway shot from behind the backboard near the baseline and a tip in over a taller dude after Mike missed a layup that I had a sweet behind the back pass to him for on the fast break.

There was about 2 minutes left in the game. I made a layup on the fast break and then I made an open jumpshot with about 30 seconds left to get us within 3 points of the other team... however, they scored a trey with 7 seconds left so all hope of a win was out of reach.

Great game though, the team is actually motivated to get better for our next performace. Bye this week but next week on Friday night, we're aiming for our first win.

- Not a project. He's just very fucking soft and very very... lets say he doesnt take initiative... and keeps missing shots and only has one post move... But we need him since he's our tallest player. Hes too weak to play at the 5 tho.. if we had soemone similar to his height, Brian would play at the 4.

- Yeah well.. the team stinks as a whole. With inexperience, unfitness and lack of a system, you can only get worse. But guys are getting the hang of playing so it should get better by the tiem regular season comes around.
