Cheers dude, well as ive already said, if I get an offer to GM for another team ill take it so I dunno where ill be picking if that happens, ive put myself to be drafted near the end of the first so if im still Detroit I might be avaliable then :P

2-1 this month. It would be good to have a loss going into the playoffs, just to get it out of the way.

3 games left and the Pistons are looking to have the home court through out the playoffs.
playing at a superior level that most teams havent been able to match the 76ers dont look to pose too much trouble.
Look for Chris Webber to try cause trouble for the Detroit big men,
while AI puts pressure on the Pistons backcourt, this should free up guys like Iugodala and Dalembert for some easy baskets.

Image
Boxscores: [76ers]|[Pistons]

The Pistons came into this game expecting a tough game but nothing too hard.
But very hard is what they got, it took an extra period of time for the league leading Pistons to keep their streak alive.
Allen Iverson caused trouble all game for the Pistons, which as expected allowed players like
Andre Iugodala and Samuel Dalembert to get easy baskets.

The game was very up and down, the 76ers destroyed the Pistons in the first quarter,
then in th second the scores were almost switched with Detroit running over Philly.
Detroit pulled their lead out some mroe in the third, however the 76ers fought bakc hard in the fourth.
OT was a very close fought battle, however the Pistons managed to sneak through withthe 2 points win.

Tayshuan Prince led the Pistosn with 30, 10 and 6 assists.
Ben Wallace had an amazing 9 steals, he also had 14 rebounds.
Allen Iverson led the 76ers with 39 points he also had 8 assists and 5 boards.
Andre Iguodala had 22 points, but also a shocking 10 turnovers.

ImageImage
Iggy got a lot of easy buckets like these, his 10 turnovers is dissapointing though.
ImageImage
While still shooting well, Rip was held relatively quiet || Prince with the big block on Iggy

The Blazers will be the easiest opponents for the Pistons this month
Look for an easy win for the Detroit team.

Image
Boxscores:[Pistons]|[Blazers]

The Pistons probably came into this game too relaxed which resulted in them having to play catch up for a lot of the game.
However a decent blasting from Coach Saunders at half time saw them come out firing.
THe pistons went on to outscore the Blazers by 9 in the third, then finish them off in the 4th scoring 13 more than Portland.
Pistons Coach Flip Saunders was not impressed with the performance:
"We cant afford to let teams get into a grove against us on offense,
this is the Blazers we are talking about, they may be in the playoffs,
but a team like us shouldnt struggle through a half against them."

Rip Hamilton had a great double double with 23 points and 12 assists on 9-15 shooting.
Chauncy Billups was great with 25 points, on 10-15 shooting and 4-9 from downtown.
Darius Miles lived up to his talent with a great all round game with 23 points, 6 boards and 6 assists.
Sebastian Telfair finished with 15 points and 11 assists as he battled with a more experienced PG.

ImageImage
D Miles had a great game, here with the little floater|| Ben Wallace went down with an injury, but thankfully he was cleared to play by the playoffs.
ImageImage
Billups hitting one of his 9 3 point attempts. || The Blazers will be dissapointed with this loss, but must be happy they made the post season.

Winning tonights game will send the Pistons into the playoffs on a 7 game winning streak.
It will also mean they have the edge in confidence if they are to face the Grizzlies in this years finals.
Look for an intense match up as both teams will look to have the upper hand on the other going into the playoffs.
The Pistons will be without Center Ben Wallace who will be out for the remainder of the regular season.

Image
Boxscores: [Grizzlies]|[Pistons]

Chauncy shot well, the Pistons shot well,
and the team goes through into the playoffs having swept the final two months of the reg season.
Playing without Ben Wallace the Pistons dropped 37 in the first quarter and never looked back.
Leading for the whole gmae from the 5 minute mark the Pistons never looked pressured which will
sure give them confidence going into the post season.

Chauncy Billups scored 36 points on 12-17 shooting and 5-8 from 3 point land, he also added 4 boards and 4 assists.
Rasheed Wallace had a good game in Ben's absence with 22 points 7 boards 4assists and 3 blocks.
Pau Gasol was difficult for the Pistons to stop with 29 points, 11 boards and 5 assists.
Shane Battier had a terrible shooting night going 5 - 20 from the field.

ImageImage
Chauncy Billups has been unstoppable the last few games of the season, shooting great percentages from all areas.
Image
Battier making his only 3 pointer of the night.
