CHeers dude, havent seen you round here much lately, missing your Raptors Dynasties
Yeah, it was a combination of me being bored of live 06 and me being too lazy to post in this section of the forums for a while. After reading a few dynasties I've gotten hooked again.
Wow, someone actually remembers I had a Raptors dynasty.

You'd have to have followed the dynasty section pretty closely to have remembered that.

True, fair enough, good to have you back
,
Yeah I follow it pretty closely, its mainly the only section I dwell in here, although I have started to branch out a bit more, especially just reading some of the other sections

The Pistons rolled on through the Month of March.
Sweeping the month completely they moved onto a 4-0 win streak,
however the calibre of opposing teams wasnt that great over all.
Each player continued to play their parts and we saw some stellar shooting performances from Rip Hamilton.
Overall there is not much to report this month for the Pistons, now theres only 3 games left till playoff time.
Pistons player stats sayed the same basically,
congratualtions goes out to Chauncy Billups who is now averaging a double double.
The playoff picture seems to be more or less set.
In the East Boston moved into the 7 th seed, while Washington dropped right out of the race.
New Jeresy, Philadelphia and Indiana also locked up a spot each in the Playoffs.
In the West, Houston and San Antonio clinched playoff berths, with SA also over taking the Rockets.
Dallas jumped up into the 7th spot while Seattle dropped out of the picture.
Divisional Standings did not have much activity.
Note: MVP Canidates included also.
T-Mac had a great month, averaging a great double double and close to 35ppg.
Following suit in the East Paul Pierce averaged a double double, also scoring over 30 a game.
Chris Paul had another solid month leading the Hornets offense, and making a great case for ROY.
Wayne Simien was a supprise win for East ROTM, but due to his increased PT he put out some great production.
The League leaders all stayed pretty much the same.
With Billups now averaging 10 apg he is averaging 1.5 more than the closest player, Allen Iverson, Where is Steve Nash?

4-0 is the Pistons win streak heading into April and they will be looking to improve on it.
There are only 3 games in April, they face the 76ers, Blazers and Grizzlies.
The first two shouldnt pose too much of a problem for the Pistons, although the 76ers hold the 2nd seed in the East,
but its the Grizzlies that they will want to finish strong against, as they top the West.
Time for picks guys, this month is different, since they are small months remianing,
im gonna post the game recaps all in one go, so you just have to get your predictions in before that,
which im warning you will be soon, as ive already played the games
(dont try to read into my april preview as I worte it before I played the games).
If anyone is unsure of how this works, basically you have the option to try guess which games I will lose, ie:
Sit wrote:2-2 (Losses to Cavs and Mavs)
If you guess correctly you will be given 5 bonus points, however if you guess incorrectly you lose 5,
as you can see this is a gamble so if you are not really sure id advise not guessing
Also check below for the Leadersboard.

Most guessed corrctly this month, there were a few 3-1's and Rongotai went with 2-2 for some reason
but other than that most gained full points for the month
April Predictions
With 3 games left:
Jugs: 2-1 (Loss to Blazers)
Tuomas: 3-0
Marquis: 2-1 (Loss to Grizzlies)
Hova-: 3-0
Keo: 2-1
Anthony15: 3-0
Thierry: 2-1 (Loss to Grizz)
CouchPotato94: 3-0
Sam: 3-0
Laxation: 2-1

can't wait until the offseason (and scouting reports)

3-0, you will crush them all. Tightest game should be against the Grizzlies but with the Pistons it should be fairly easy.

I think you will go 2-1 (loss to Grizzlies)
Wed May 24, 2006 10:07 pm
3-0 Pau cant really show his best with the Wallaces on him, I think you can get it done
Thu May 25, 2006 6:33 am
I think you'll probably drop one to either Memphis or Philadelphia since they seem to be doing so well and because the both have star Power Forwards.
Just in case it's misleading, I'm not saying
who you'll lose to, just simply predicting your record as always. I'll go 2-1.
Great job in March, btw.

3-0, very easy schedule in April!

As the season comes to an end its now time to start scouting players.
First we check out a few late entries to the draft which we were lucky enough to get a chance bring them in for a look.
Both these players are from the Oceana area, which would probably explain their lack of exposure.
Robert Skrnjug, or more commonly known as by his friends "Jugs", is a perfect example of raw talent.
Jugs possesses great althletic ability as well as a great instinct for the game.
However he is severly lacking in the shooting department as opposing teams usually can sag right down to the Paint when guarding him.
Coupling his great athleticsim with his great court awareness Jugs is a defensive force to be reckoned with.
No matter what league he plays in he will always be a block machine,
and with his above average quickness and speed for a 6'9" player his stealing is of a high calibre
Another standout point of his game is his handling,
it bamboozles scouts how such a poor shooter can have dribbling skills better than some guards.
Overall Jugs looks to be a great project, who can immediately help any team on the defensive end.
His durability has been questioned a lot, which may be refelcted by what pick he is taken with.
Jugs has been projected to go in the late 1st round (could go earlier) to early 2nd round,
but he hasnt really solidified a spot anywhere as he is still relativly unknown.
Projected Draft Position: Mid to Late First Round to Mid Second
Best Case Scenario: A more mobile Ben Wallace with decent offense
Worst Case Scenario: Chris Andersen hopefully without the drugs.
Most Likely Case: Darius Miles with a little less shot and more basketball smarts

With Jugs' impressive handle and dunking ability its going to be interesting how easy he finds it to get to the hoop, there is no question he will be amazing in the open court.
Mark Moore, like Jugs has had little or no exposure up until now.
Having only played basketball as his secondary sport most of his school career he never really made it big in any of the NZ competitions.
The most amazing observation scouts have made of Moore is his insane endurance,
this will be due to his main sport for most of his life being track and field where he was a top middle distance runner during his school days.
With a level of stanima this high there is no doubt Moore will be able to play a full 48 minutes if necessary.
Moore is one of those guards whose shot is ok but nothing impressive,
the type of player who prefers to take the ball inside than settle for the jumper.
Since his shot is ok, he is a streaky shooter who will keep shooting through cold spells.
However some of his weaknesses will probably limit his amount of penetration.
Moore's strength is an issue as he will easily get pushed around at the top level,
however some hours in the gym with some programs to add some bulk might help.
Moore's speed is impressive, however his quickness and first step are only a little above average
so he might have trouble beating smaller quicker defenders.
A big issue is his height, he's only 6'1" so can only really play the Point at the top level,
however he is more of a shoot first guard so will be preferably played at the 2 when possible.
Overall Moore is an interesting prospect with a decent upside, his size will undoubtedly cause some teams to pass him up,
however if he does slip into the second round he will be snapped up quickly.
Projected Draft Position: Mid First Round to Early Second.
Best Case Scenario: Tony Parker, with a tad more shooting ability.
Worst Case Scenario: Lindsey Hunter, with less defense
Most Likely Scenario: Tony Parker with not so much quickness

Even for a 6'1" guy Moore has some decent Hops, when we aksed him to do a fitness test for us, to put it simply we were shocked..
