Gangsta wrote:congrats on the 5000 views, damn thats a lot for a story. Especially since some people who have 15 pages don't even get this many views. Keep the story up

- Thanks a lot man! Its really appreciated! Next time I will put u on my shoutout list! (Y)

Jugs wrote:Well hopefully your dynasty gets some games played, i mean, they still play NBA games during court cases

- Of course, the NBA doesn't stop and so hasn't the games in my dynasty! There will be a basketball update. I promise!

And to both u and gangsta, I just checked with my trusty calculator, and if u wanna be accurate... i'm only being beaten by Jing by 1 view per post and slightly the same if it were views per page... which means that I should have his ammount once I get up to 18 pages! (Y)

The X wrote:damn, I had to skip over that shoutout post as my gf was over my shoulder

cheers for shoutout....you hit the nail on the coffin with the busy part, I sometimes feel bad that I don't comment & contribute in other dynasties as much as I use to, especially considering all the support I get....but I guess if I was to, it would mean I would have less time to update my one....

and hey, are you trying to suggest something about my character?

- Haha... then maybe I iwll crahs your wedding! Hopefully the bridesmaids will be (Y)

It's cool bout not contributing, your dynasty is the ebst dynasty in the forum IMO... and I'm serious bout that! Good job on it too! Considering how little time you have, it's great to see it do so well.

And yes... your chracter is just a little comical relief! However... if you are going to go broke one day... I just justified how! :)

Laxation wrote:thanks for the shoutout sorry i dont post much here, i dont really have an excuse other than it slips my mind... i love reading your stories

keep up the good work, i hope you can become gm again soon

- Thanks alot Laxation. I see you around quite a bit so it's ok! Thanks for reading once again! Maybe Andrew Bgut will join Atlanta since the Bucks are gcoming in last place...

Mark wrote:Cheers for the shout-out dude, I'm not as active as i used to be, or would like to be, but yours is one thread I always check up on.

Hey and you know im not over complimenting, your just over modest bitch

- Thanks for dropping by! Real life takes priority and that's cool! I just hope you enjoy the dyansty as it gets deeper and deeper into itself. And no, I'm not modest... I'm not that good.

pH wrote:very nice chapter 7
i like the fact that there's some basketball back in it and i smiled while reading this:
"This guy is either homosexual or has no idea… " (sit over A.Watson's clothing style)

- I notcied that everyone wants more basketball in the story... well, it's not coming!

Henry wrote:Really man, I read it completely

- Kool, thanks man! haha, sorry.. no hard feelings yeah? To make it up to you, I will use my psychic mind and predict an Arsenal 5-0 thrashing over Real Madrid! (Y) Go Henry!!!!

Oh shit... I forgot two people I wanted to add to my list:

cwebb: Good guy! Thanks for supporting in my past dynasties and this one. You said it looks cool and I appreciate it although I don't think it looks very cool. I hope to see you visit in here a bit more!

Sensation: Man, how could I forget you.. I'm so stupid. Another guy who's followed my past dynasty! If you don't folllow this one its cool... cause I knowq this aint everyone's cup of tea... but yes... I know that you sometimes may read this!

December Recap | Part One

1 Jan AP - This is the first part of a special feature NBA monthly recap. These articles will be posted at the conclusion of every NBA month starting with the top games of the month as listed below.

5.

Image

Dec 14, Miami Heat at Memphis Grizzlies

The Heat suffered a 30+ point thrashing as they missed Shaq from the paint. The Heat shot dreadfully at .350 from the field as D Wade, Antoine Walker and J-Will made only a third of their shots. Now everyone can see why the Diesel is still the best big man in the NBA. This game also showed fans what teamwork can do as the Grizzlies had six guys with over 12 points. (Another interesting point; Shane Battier missing 11 shots!)

4.

Image

Dec 24, Los Angeles Lakers at Philadelphia 76ers

The Lakers actually played like how Jax wants them to play. Lamar Odom the facilitator with 20, 15 and 6. Kwame Brown the physical big man with 15 and 11 and holding Lee Nailon to only 4 shot attempts. Kobe Bryant the scorer with 34 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals. Did we mention the backcourt partnership of Smush and Kobe holding the two AI’s to a combined 12 for 38 shooting?

3.

Image

Dec 25, Minnesota Timberwolves at Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers make another appearance on this list as they got their second Christmas present. Another loss after having lost on Christmas Eve! AI had a shocker as he missed two shots to tie the game to send it into OT. Eddie Griffin was money as he scored his only trey of the game with the clock winding down to give the Wolves a 2 point lead.

2.

Image

Dec 19, Atlanta Hawks at Philadelphia 76ers

This is where it all started for Philly. The Sixers have a huge first and third quarter surge, build a huge lead. Then C-Webb gets injured with 7 minutes left in the game after having played 41 out of 41 minutes of the game. The younger and less skilled Atlanta Hawks start to chip into the lead. Iverson misses all 7 of his shot attempts in the final 5 minutes of the game. Iverson scares the living daylight out of his team-mates after missing his second free throw. The Sixers breathe a sigh of relief when Josh Smith launches an air ball with 7 ticks left.

1.

Image

Dec 14, New Jersey Nets at Orlando Magic

Definitely the most exciting game of the month as JKidd, VC and RJ took on the Magic.

Steve Francis was benched for complaining that the Gatorade wasn’t mixed well enough. Jameer Nelson scored the game tying three at the end of regulation. (Don’t forget he actually did better at the point that Stevie finishing with 13 points and 10 assists) Dwight Howard was a monster with 26, 15 and 4.

The Nets got a combined 72 points from it’s big trio. Carter had a buzzer beating dunk, leaping over Tony Battie’s head with a Fredrick Weis-esque poterisation. And did we mention that Nenard Krstic had the flukiest night as he scored all 12 of the Nets’ second OT points?

Carter Jefferson and Kidd shat all over Orlando! I like the monthly recap, looking at boxscores is fun (Y)

I would like more basketball, but to have Sit come back as GM somehow, how though, im not sure

Maybe he can be hired again as compensation for being accused of murder or something... :?

December Recap | Part Two

1 Jan AP - This is the second part of a special feature NBA monthly recap. These articles will be posted at the conclusion of every NBA month. Our second installment comes to you, informing you of the latest season standings as of Dec 31.

Season Standings

Atlantic

Image

Last we checked, the Nets were doing ok and they’ve had a decent month to back that up. Thanks to PF Chris Webber’s injury and the Sixers’ subsequent meltdown, the Nets were able to ‘pick-pocket’ Philly’s division lead.

The Raptors are surprisingly doing well as they tie for first in the Atlantic with Jersey. Larry Brown wants to pull his hair out but there’s probably nothing left to pull as the Knicks still haven’t learnt how to spell defense yet. Not to sweat Larry, things will only get worse as Boston is closing in on that second last spot!

Central

Image

The Pistons are cruising with their record while Chi-town, Indiana and the Cavs all have very respectable records. The Central Division may well be the deepest division in the East. Chances are though that by next month, the Bulls and Cavs will probably lose a handful and the Pacers drop back slightly and then Detroit will clinch that first seed.

Poor Andrew Bogut and the Bucks are having a nightmare season as they are cellar-dwellers of the NBA this season. What else can they do? Maybe we should expect a big trade by the deadline…

Southeast

Image

Miami has lost a couple after Shaq got injured and this means one thing- if they keep on racking up those losses, there’s a chance that Orlando or Washignton could steal the division crown. Or for those Will Sit followers, his old team might actually have a chance to win it, after their 3-4 month.

The Charlotte Bobcats will be in a tight competition with the Bucks and New Orleans Hornets for that Wooden Spoon. Our money’s on the Bobcats to win that one!

Northwest

Image

Denver holds the number one record in the Western Conference. Apart from that, this division doesn’t get any more exciting. Three teams have sub .500 records and these are teams who should be making the playoffs. Someone tell me that Portland is better than the Wolves, Sonics and the Jazz?

In relation to Portland, they’re having a surprise season as they were expected to come dead-last this season in the West. Well, looks like Martell Webster’s addition is paying dividends ahead of schedule!

Pacific

Image

The Warriors picked up where they left off as they seem to be picking up pace to win the Pac title. The Suns who missed Amare Stoudamire for a while aren’t too far behind though but any NBA junkie needs to admit that the Warriors are red-hot right now! Despite Elton Brand’s dominance, the Clippers are experiencing another whitewash of a season.

What’s interesting is that the two former heavyweights of the NBA are stuck in the middle. The Kings and Lakers are .500 teams but I bet if the playoffs started today, no one would want to play either of them in the first round.

Southwest

Image

Houston and San Antonio are having an old school Western shoot-out! This is going to be an interesting stretch up to All-Star weekend to see which team cracks first. If anyone of their stars fall to injury, the other one will win on default. We guarantee!

Memphis and Dallas are playing solidly and should gain postseason appearances while the young Nawlins Hornets will definitely stay in the lottery this Summer!

I finished reading chapter 7 yesterday and I must say that the ending in your chapters always make the reader just want to read the next chapter. :D I love your work, I think this should be one of the top 5 dynasty's of the year. Congrats on 5000 views.

BTW, the weather isn't that good. It is suppose to be like 8 degress C while it's -2 C.

EDIT: I got so caught up in this that I forgot to talk about the recap. Tough loss to Philly. Denver is a surprise to be doing that good but the season is still young so will see. Your team isn't doing that bad considering that it's Atlanta and compared to the real NBA where they started out at 0-14.(I think) The good thing about your division is that its weak and you are only half a game away from gettting second place.

back from... nowhere.

Al is obviously in the story guys..

"make a list of who would frame you"

Al punched the hell outta sit, so obviously they don't like each other, so sit would say al might have framed him, so naturally he'd put him on the list, which is why they went to question Al.

My guess is Milwaukee for wooden spoon. No matter what, in all my dynasties they always get worst record in the first couple years. I've never played past the end of year 2, but... maybe I will with my knicks one. I think that's about to start 3rd year.

- I've never liked VC or JKidd or RJ much... and I didn't care that they all ended up in jersey together but for some reason, this trio really fascinates me... i look at them and wish they could make the ECF this season... I dunno why. Well, the Sit as GM thing is... on hold haha... how do u know he didnt murder?

heh well my primary position is the handler, which is more or less like a QB in that i am the one who is finding the holes in the defense and passing the disc, which kinda of relates to a PG in basketball too.
