If I was to choose a movie, I'd pick "Hoosiers" way ahead of the likes of "Space Jam", "White Men Can't Jump", "Coach Carter". Jusging from this, You know where I'm coming from.

I really like this dynasty, its really the only one I have been checking up on normally. I've been lurking for a while, and my schedule with school is kinda busy, but I am going to start posting here.

You'll also probably see a dynasty from me on teh Blazers, maybe starting this weekend.

Also, could someone tell me how you take pictures of the screen. Like for instance, if I wanna start a dynasty, how do I take pictures of my roster and such?

Thanks for the help.

Blazer Freak, welcome to the forums, , and have a pleasant and creative stay... (Y)

As for the pics, I would recommend going to www.fraps.com and downloading the fraps program. With it, you just push the F- key of your choice while in-game and capture a .bmp screenie. Convert that to .jpeg format ( just use "save as..." ), upload it to a host ( I suggest imagecave ), resize it to a 30 - 40 k size using the host's resize options, and then post it by copying-pasting the exact img tags. Those are [img]...%20<picture%20URL>%20...[/img].

Welcome , again

alternately you can use the printscreenn button while in a screen view of your choice E.G. boxscores.....then do the alt-tab......open a picture program E.G. MS paint....paste the picture....then save as a jpeg file since it is smaller in bytes.....enjoy your stay and have a good blazer dynasty.... :?

November 9, 2005

Denver 70 – New York 104 (Record:4-3)
The Nuggets were 0-4 going into this game, and were hoping for their inaugural season win at the Pepsi Center. The Knicks had a different opinion about it, though…
Odom had 19 pts – 11rebs – 7ast, and Allan Houston finally had a fine scoring game putting up 22. Kenyon Martin’s 22 pts and 10 rebs were just a drop in the ocean.

November 10, 2005

New York 88 – Miami 83 (Record:5-3)
After unexpectedly sweeping the Heat in last year’s Eastern Quarterfinals, the Knicks did it again to their rivals, getting their 4th consecutive win in the process. Odom was once again very near a triple double figure, while Tim Thomas provided spark off the bench in the 4th quarter and killed Miami’s comeback momentum. Haslem had 21 boards for the visitors.

November 13, 2005

New York 89 – Indiana 110 (Record:5-4)
This was the second defeat to the Pacers in the Garden in only the first two weeks of the regular season. This must not bode well for our teams’ fans… JO dominated again and Ron Artest had a near triple double with 24 pts – 11 rebs –9ast. New York only had to show JC’s efforts to be proud of (27pts – 8ast)

November 15, 2005

New York 93 – Cleveland 86 (Record:6-4)
Jamaal Magloire had his best performance of the season so far in this game aginst the Cavs and 7’ 3” Ilgauskas. The Knicks’ Canadian Center scored 22 points and brought down 12 rebounds to lead his team to victory. He had great help from the bench in th effaces of Tim Thomas and Derek fisher who had 10 points each, with Timmy grabbing 11 boards as well. LBJ was stuck to 15 points for the Cavs.

November 16, 2005

Minnesota 89 – New York 81 (Record:6-5)

The Wolves have once again started off the season strong, with a 7-2 record and were looking to improve it furthermore facing the Knicks at the Target Center. And they succeeded. KG was dominant with 23 points and 13 rebounds, with adequate help from Szczerbiak (21) and Cassell (20). For New York, Odom stood out with 22 points and 15 rebounds.

November 18, 2005

New York 98 – Philadelphia 95 (Record:7-5)
Chris Webber got injured around the middle of the 3rd quarter and will probably miss about two weeks’ worth of game action. His benching allowed the Knicks to take command of a game that up until then was at Philly’s grasp. Leading a late charge, Lamar Odom provided 25 points and 12 rebounds, with Dunleavy getting 15-10-5, both of them helping their team to victory. Sophomore G/F Andre Iguodala had 21 pts – 10 rebs –7ast for the Sixers.

Yup, we're a scrappy team that gets the job done... nothing fancy here... just like the Spurs and Pistons, only scoring a bit more :P

I like how you get the season done pretty fast, although I think playing the games is more fun but you've got the GS dynasty for that.
I don't want to keep bitching about it ( ) but Ariza isn't a guy that can only dunk. Actually about the only thing he can't do is shoot, he's talented in all the other areas (defense, passing, rebounding). Good luck with Dunleavy anyway.

Exactly. As you have said yourself, this dynasty is more from a manager's standpoint...

Ariza isn't a guy that can only dunk. Actually about the only thing he can't do is shoot, he's talented in all the other areas (defense, passing, rebounding). Good luck with Dunleavy anyway.

I haven't seen him play not even once, I just judge from Live ratings. You may have a point there.

Great dynasty Weaver

Thanks friend, good luck with your Blazers' one...

Nice 4-2 update. Surprise to see that blow out by the Pacers, but at least you bounced back.

Alright record, but not the record of a team that's been to the Finals and wants to return and win it all this time.

It's still early in the season, we're a bit erratic and inconsistent. It will get better in time...

Alright record, but not the record of a team that's been to the Finals and wants to return and win it all this time.

Well, last years' total record of 44 - 38 was not much of a record for a contender, but we did reach the Finals, didn't we?

u just have to wait

That's what I like to see, optimism... (Y)

November 21, 2005

Detroit 96 – New York 103 (Record:8-5)
A good team effort and a display of unselfish behavior on the court allowed the Knicks to grab a good win over the always strong Pistons, at Auburn Hills Palace, Michigan. All of New York’s starters scored 15 points or more, with the leading scorer being Jamal Crawford with 25, adding 7 rebounds and 6assist to his stat line as well. For Detroit, prince had 23 points and 7 rebounds.

November 23, 2005

Indiana 109 – New York 117 (Record:9-5)
Second consecutive road win for the Knicks, both of which against the consensus two best teams in the East (apart from us, of course…). We avoided a 0-3 regular season series start with the Pacers, being led offensively by Lamar Odom’s triple double figure of 26 pts – 13 rebs – 10 ast. Dunleavy and Houston added 18 points each, and helped their team clinch it in the crucial final stretches. Indiana’s best player in this game was Jeff Foster with 26 points and 8 rebounds.

November 27, 2005

New York 107 – New Jersey 113 (Record:9-6)
It was the Knicks’ frontcourt against the Nets’ great backcourt going 2 on 3 in this contest. And, naturally, the 3 guys won. J-Kidd had 31 points and 9 assists, VC scored 26 and Jefferson 25, leading their team past Lamar Odom’s 30 pts – 9 rebs – 10ast, and Jammal Magloire’s 29 points – 9rebounds onward to victory

November 29, 2005

Memphis 110 – New York 121 (Record:10-6)

Jamal Crawford had his best game of the season thus far in the FedEx forum against the Mephis Grizzlies this day, scoring 36 points on excellent percentage from the field and handing out 5 assist to go along. Odom and Dunleavy added 20 and 19 respectively, making Mike Miller’s 28 not enough for the Griz to get the victory.

November 30, 2005

New York 95 – Boston 101 (Record:10-7)
Antoine Walker had a fine all around game filling up his stat sheet with 21 points, 18 boards and 8 dimes. Paul Pierce complimented him well enough for the Celtics to be completely in charge in the first 3 quarters of the contest. The Knicks mounted a comeback with a 31-20 4th quarter led by Odom’s 24 pts – 13 rebs, but it was too late to make any significant difference.

u gotta tell me one thing...
what the hell do ur titles mean ??
as far as i know u went from Dr. to Field Marshall, and u always raised one "level of hell" with a new title
i don't know if u started this with "Dr." because i first noticed the location update when u already had reached level 4
it's kinda confusing

(but also interesting)

Here’s what’s going on around the league after November ’05:

Here’s the New York Knicks’ stat sheet for the first month:

Lamar Odom has really elevated his game so far, and is considered an early MVP candidate:

December 2 , 2005

New York 98 – LA Clippers 94 (Record:11-7)
Odom and Houston took control of this game for the Knicks and led their team to a late 4th quarter scoring charge to clinch victory at the finale. Both Lamar and Allan had 23 points, while Jamaal Magloire downed 10 boards. The Clips were led by Kittles and Maggette, with the difference being made by Elton Brand being shut down and stuck on 9 points.

December 4, 2005

New York 74 – Utah 110 (Record:11-8)
The Knicks shot .364 from the field and got utterly pasted at home by a surprisingly energetic Utah team, led by Boozer’s 24 points and Kirilenko’s 15 pts – 15 rebs – 5rebs. Odom had 18 for New York, but could not do anything to prevent the embarrassment.

December 5, 2005

New York 77 – Minnesota 111 (Record:11-9)
Second consecutive blowout loss at the Madison Square Garden, this time to the 16-4 Timberwolves. Sam Cassell was unstoppable hitting shots all the time for 31 points total, while KG was his usual dominant self once more to polsterize his MVP award co-candidate Odom who had no answer for him. After Mike Dunleavy’s abysmal performance this season and in this game with 4 points only, he is moved to the bench and Timmy Thomas gets the starting not at SF.

December 7, 2005

New York 68 – Sacramento 99 (Record:11-10)
Something is definitely rotten in the kingdom of New York after the third consecutive defeat at the Garden with a deficit of 30 points or more. It won’t be long before our fans start throwing objects of various quality and worth at the court, aiming at the players, if this keeps up. Peja with 24 and Kenny Thomas with 23 led the Kings to this easy victory.

December 11 , 2005

New York 81 – Charlotte 82 (Record:11-11)
3 days of resting were not enough for the team to regroup and manage to avoid the 4th straight defeat at home, this time to the pleasant surprise of the season, the 12-6 Bobcats. Emeka Okafor and Pau Gasol formed a formidable duo up front, with Glenn Robinson coming off the bench for perimeter scoring. For New York, Allan Houston had 20 and Tim Thomas 15, but their late 4th quarter charge did not get us the win.

December 14, 2005

Atlanta 88 – New York 91 (Record:12-11)
Finally a win for the Knicks, who seem to be doing far better on the road so far this season. MSG pressure getting too much? Time will tell… Atlanta put a 4th quarter scare on us coming from behind and nearly stealing the victory from our grasp, but all was well in the end. JC had 19 points and Odom added another 15 to break the Knicks’ losing streak.

December 15, 2005

New York 90 – Atlanta 116 (Record:12-12)
Atlanta took their revenge for yesterday ‘s defeat by being the 4th team in the past 10 days to destroy the Knicks in their own home. Summer additions Troy Murphy and Latrell Sprewell complimented Al Harrington’s 22 points well, and had this game decided by half-time. For the Knicks, good ol’ Allan Houston stood his ground with 22 points, but no one was there to help him out.
