Josh Howard was anounced as the player of the game with 26 points, 3 rebs and 3 assists.

Mavericks were playing offensively well, but defensively even better, letting to score only 39 points for the Spurs untill the middle of the 3th quarter. But then Spurs seemed that revived and had the run 32 : 13 including the time at the 4th quarter, but Mavericks didn't let the victory to get out of hand. Mavericks increased the lead to 16 and won this game 107 : 91.

Dallas Mavericks suffer a defeat at home and go to SBC center to play the deciding game.
DALLAS MAVERICKS 106 : 110 SAN ANTONIO SPURS
San Antonio celebrated the victory at Dallas and are hoping to end it at home.
TOP PERFORMERS:
Dirk Nowitzki | 41 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 assists.
Jason Terry | 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals.
Marquis Daniels | 10 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists

Seems that Dallas relaxed a bit and were willing to end this serie easily, because Spurs were defeated easily at SBC Center. But Spurs didn't want to end this season and defeated Mavs in a very hard game, 110 : 106.
Spurs were leading almost all game, starting to rule inthe 2nd quarter, when the advantage has increased to 10 points by Spurs. Micheal Finley was leading the Spurs. He made several layups and important shots and had 18 points before the half. After the half, Dallas were trying to close the game, but efforts were not succesfully. Dirk Nowitzki has unbelievable game, playing like it would be his last game and having 41 points and 14 rebounds. The score was increased to 12 at the end of 4th quarter, but then some really important points were made by Terry and Nowitzki and the score was 108 : 104. Nick Van Exel was standing at the foul line and made only 1 shot, so the score became 109 : 106, when Nowitzki made another shot. But 1 free throw was made by Udrih and only 3 seconds left. Dallas couldn't do anything to win this game. So Spurs celebrated the victory 110 : 106.
Jason Terry from the Mavericks had good game, scoring 17 points and combining 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Team leader in assists was Marquis Daniels, who made it 7, also 10 points from him. From the Spurs need to mention Nick Van Exel, who had 21 points from the bench and was playing very solid at the very important parts of the game. Tim Duncan was stopped again by Ratliff, Duncan had 10 points and 6 rebounds.
So now, teams are flying to San Antonio and preparing to the deciding game of this serie.
