This game let to rest some leaders of the Mavs, so the chance was given to play more for young guys. It was very useful, because leaders got some rest before playoffs and reduced their chances to become injured.

Mavericks trio: Josh Howard, Marquis Daniels and Devin Harris showed very good game and proved that they are the bright future of Mavericks. Josh Howard had 26 points, 2 assists, 5 steals and was anounced as the player of the game. Marquis Daniels had 24 points, scoring them most after the half, because, at the first quarter he suffered a minor hand injury, so he came of the bench only after the half. Devin Harris added 22 to the win, also 3 assists from him.

At the first quarter seemed that Mavs will have a hard night, which ended 24 : 24. But at the 2nd quarter they was playing more solid and increased the lead to 10 points. After the half the score was the same, about 5 - 10 advantage for the Mavs, but at the 4th quarter they increased the score more and celebrated the last win at the regular season 109 : 91!

Bucks's main man was Maurice Williams with 27 points from the bench. Also Jamal Magloire has shown some defensive lessons for Mavs - 10 blocks from him. Toni Kukoc had the last game at his carrier in NBA, scoring 10 points.

Marquis Daniels had 24 points, almost all after the half. Magloire blocking Harris. Harris had 22 points, while Magloire 10 blocks.

Maurice Williams was the main man of the Bucks, scoring 27 points. "Croatian sensation" shoots the ball, it was probably his last game.

Mavs celebrate first playoffs victory against Memphis Grizzlies 107 : 96. The game was easy, despite that result. Mavs were runing all the time and were leading the game by 10 - 15 points. Only the in the last minutes Grizzlies managed to close the game. Dirk Nowitzki was the main man of the Mavs, scoring 31 points and having 6 rebounds, also winning the fight against Pau Gasol, who had only 10 points and 6 rebounds. Damon Stoudamire had 27 points and 5 assists and was the main player at the Grizzlies, but it was not enough for the Griz.

Now Mavericks lead this serie 1 - 0 and may finish it in the next game at Memphis.

Devin Harris was the biggest surprise tonight leading the Mavs at the 4th quarter, he had 26 tonight.

Mike Miller | 22 points, 2 assists.

Mavs survive in the 4th quarter and celebtrate victory at the overtime. It was 15 points deficit at the 3th quarter by the Mavericks, but they quickly had 8 points and closed the game. Who cares? The quarter finished with the advantage of Grizlies by 13 points and good performance by Stoudamire, he had 18 points tonight. It was the catching at the 4th quarter, and Grizzlies didn't resist by Mavs and especially by Devin Harris. He had oustanding performance with 26 points and 5 assists, also cold-bloodedness from him. The real time finiched 95-95 with the free throws by the Armstrong.

So teams were contrained to play overtime, and then the real game started. I can't remember more than 2 points advantage untill the last minute of the overtime. The score was changing quickly and frequently. But at the time of 40 seconds left Mavs increased their lead to 4 points. And at the last seconds Dirk Nowitzki made some free throws and didn't relinquish the victory. He had 31 points tonight, the same number of points as in the first game. From the Grizzlies Pau Gasol was the main man, he had 20 points, 16 rebounds, 2 blocks, 3 steals. It was good matchup between two amazing European players: Nowitzki and Gasol.

The score 119 : 113 for the Mavs means that Mavs are going to the 2 playoff round, while the season for the Grizzlies is over. Mavs will play against Spurs, who win their serie against Rockets 2-0. It will be very hard games, because Spurs are previous years Champions and will try to defend the title.
