PRESEASON GAME 2
1st Quarter:
The Clippers mixed things up a bit for this game, they started the game with Motumbo instead of Kaman in an attempt to contain the Bulls big men. Clippers wanted to focus on defense a bit more in this game and figure out a set rotation and individual playing time. Still the young Bulls big men really brought their "A" games in the 1st quarter good enough for a 5 point lead by the end of the quarter.

2nd Quarter:
Sam Cassell came into the game and really gave the Clippers a spark off the bench, igniting both Maggette and Brand. Maggette was able to get to the rim and score almost at will. Once again, Chandler was tough to contain and keep off the boards. Air Gordon and Hinrich complimented Chandler on the outside, making some key threes. Clippers down by 9.

3rd quarter:
Clippers started Eddie Griffin along side Brand this quarter and what a difference it made! The Clippers big men final contained Curry and Chandler long enough for Mobley and Maggette and pick up the pace. It was totally back and forth in this quarter and until Griffin made some key stops that lead to some easy fastbreak points for Maggette. Clippers down by 5.

4th quarter:
The Clippers countinued to apply pressure and did a good of playing man to man defense, not allowing any easy points any where on the court. You could tell the Clippers wanted this one bad, they kept battling under the offensive boards, playing the passing lanes, and going for loose balls, everything they could to get an advantage. The combination of Maggette and Livingston on the defensive end, managed to get a couple of steals leading to fastbreak opportunities. One of which lead to a quick 3 point attempt by Mobley which he missed, but Maggette was able to put it back for 2. That got the Clippers the lead, finally, for the first time in the game. Curry attempted a comeback, but it was all for naught, because this night the Clippers hit their freethrows and sealed the win.

Highpoints: The bench came in and not only did their job as reserves but provided both firepower as well as defense. Clippers did a better job at the line and attacked the rim a lot more. The player rotation was better this game, as it looks like Coach Dunleavy has figured out how to use his new players.
Lowpoints: The starting center role is still up in the air. Kaman's defense is poor and it doesn't look like his potential is as abundant as it first appeared. Clippers don't need is offense as much as they could use more shot blocking and boards. Livingston hasn't been able to run the offense the way he'd like to, he's still getting used to his new teammates and it'll take time for him to figure out how to set up each player.
Key play of the game: Maggette's put back in the fourth quarter giving the Clippers the lead. They never looked back after that.
