"Pictures are worth 1001 words" Dynasty OVER

A collection of memorable stories from NBA Live's franchise and career modes.

Awesome. Timberwolve-land. My neck of the woods! (In fact, I'll be in Minneapolis this Saturday) If only your dynasty really existed there, I'd be able to see King James in person. But alas. What was the Wolve's record the last year?

I think it's a nice refresher, as now we'll be able to see you destroy the western conference teams!

Look for a mid-season report soon....plus an expected/unexpected update from Elijah Toroc. You'll be suprised!

What's soon? Soon as in later in the day or sometime this week?

Don't mess with me man, I have a gun + PMS, don't push it.

*all giddy* I hope Coco is brought to the team. *all giddy*

Lol, I sound like such a bandwagonner.

Oooh, Cocobee, I had an idea while I was playing Live today, since most of the players you get (NLSC Ballers) are pretty short, why not let them "grow" a couple of inches and/or put on weight? Thus, say Cocobee was playing at PG at 6'5...he grew about 3-4 inches= 6'8, he could play SF. Maybe that's exageration, but it would be quite fun to see some players take on different positions next season to make way for a guy who can play the point or other position better.

Just a suggestion though. :)

It was the best in the conference I believe. Don't remember the numbers though.

I think he means in my dynasty. The Timberwolves had the 3rd or 4th worst record in the league last year. Hence the hot pursuit for Toroc in the off season.

Mid-Season Report Febuary 2008

Feb.3. 2008
The Minnesota Timberwolves trade Lebron James(ovrl 80) & Smush Parker (ovrl 57) to the Atlanta Hawks for Cocobee (ovrl 90)& N.Abott (ovrl 27).

Image

Mr. Elijah Toroc took a couple question before entering the ESPN Zone:

Reporter: Everyone thought this was a rumored early December, what finally pushed the deal through?
Toroc: I knew I wanted Cocobee since July. It was just a matter of the Hawks to come up with a deal to get him here. Cocobee and Campos are very good friends off the court which will hopefully be translated on the court.
Reporter: Did the sluggish start have anything to do with this trade?
Toroc: We didn’t start the season the way we wanted to, but I would’ve made this trade if we were in first place. I know Cocobee has the heart of a Champion and wants to win, and will do anything for this team to be successful.
Reporter: Are there any other trades or moves in the near future?
Toroc: Not at this time, I feel we have the right pieces now. No more questions please.

Dr. Jack Ramsay from ESPN Sports on the NLSC: Cocobee’s time has run out in Atlanta, but will make history with the Timberwolves. Elijah Toroc did it again. Players want to play for this man. He knows all about chemistry and personalities and whatnot. Look for the T-wolves to make some noise now, but they might be in the hole. Looking back at the trade, it was good for both teams as the Hawks get Lebron James. James will play like Cocobee but will not need to score to be effective.
The biggest suprise, is Genocide. He is becoming the leader of that Clippers team. They are a fun team to watch again. Look for the Clippers to slip into the playoffs and Genocide has a big part in that. Becks looks to be more comfortable in the offence at Memphis, with Jin and Millete to feed--it's easy to score when the focus isn't on you. Kagara is playing solid, when he gets on the court. But the All Star Zach Randolph will not let up, which means Kagara will spend more time looking then playing. A hidden jewel, the 76ers are making him a project, but if Randolph continues to play well-Philly might be too small for both of them. Cyriel is leading his team and the Magic look strong in the East. Yohance is solid although Telfair is out and Andre Miller kept the PG spot--Bailey and Carter offer more than enough offensive punch to make sure the Wizards don't fade late like last year. The player you got to feel for the most : Mark Moore of the Denver Nuggets. Jason Kidd is still playing at a high level, Moore is not happy and is being shopped around. If he can't be traded, then look for him to try to get out next year. Moore has the talent but not the time to play behind Kidd. The break out player has to be Genocide of the Clippers. I saw this young man play and he is fearless. He dunked on May and Wright--then made sure they knew he did it. It lead to a "T" but it made Sports Center. Look for a strong finish by Becks and Klitsie as well.

T-Wolves News Flash:
Febuary 13, 2008 5:35 PM
Philadelphia, PA

The Philadelphia 76ers have offered PF/SF Kagara (ovrl 66) to the Minnesota Timberwolves for C/PF DeSagana Diop (ovrl 62).

Image
Dr. Jack Ramsay from ESPN Sports on the 76ers trade offer : The logic, it's easy the 76ers have All Star Zach Randolph. kagara has been making noise about playing time. Diop is a good fit considering Lafrentz is injury prone. The T-Wolves get the better end of this deal and should do it. Kagara doesn't have to start or they can move Wright to Center and have May coming off the bench. A lot of options for the T-Wolves. A No-Brainer in my eyes. Toroc better jump on this.

Elijah Toroc was reached on the phone at his parents house in Virgina Beach, VA. Toroc stated "It's a done deal. I was suprised when the 76ers called me--I thought he was joking, I guess it's no joke. With only a few days before the trade deadline, I never thought this would even be an option. I'm still on a high getting Cocobee. Kagara was the number 2 pick this year, it doesn't get any better than that." Kagara is expected to play with the T-Wolves next game vs the Grizzlies.

Editors Note: The CPU is finally offering trades to me, I couldn't believe this trade. I had to jump all over it!

Yeah, this was actually the 2nd trade the CPU initiated. The first one was ok, but I didn't take it. Then this came up and I was like OMG!

Genocide, I've played you twice. You've scorched me both games. You had like 20 something points and atleast 6 assist each game. You were out of control. You play a lot like Jason Williams but with a better shot.

Again, thanks for the kind words.

Cocobee, do you think that the T-Wolves will make the playoffs this year after the recent trades?? Maybe if you can avoid losing more than 6 or 7 games from here on, you might slip into the playoffs?
Do you think there is any chance??

Oohh how long did that season last in real time...two weeks? Man, does time fly by when you're awaiting to be drafted! I feel special as I'm going to be drafted in a week that the REAL draft happened...but really, Dwight Howard has nothing on me!

...except for his endorsements...

...and his NBA contract...

...and the skills...

oh yeh and the hops.
