The D-League is a league minor where the teams send the players young and don't ready for NBA

This is the site fo D-League http://www.nba.com/dleague/

ATLANTA's "ROOKIES" NOT READY FOR REAL FIGHTS
Both teams demonstrated their alternate jerseys in a great match with excellent ending.

ATLANTA HAWKS 106 : 110 DALLAS MAVERICKS

JASON TERRY vs JOE JOHNSON! Terry was unstoppable and gave the 4th consecutive victory to Dallas

[ Mavericks Boxscore ]
[ Hawks Boxscore ]

RECAP
The game started with Joe Johnson's unbelievable performance with 9 points in a row, but Jason Terry didn't let hawks to gain a lead, scoring 12 points in the first quarter. Later hawks began to demostrate beautiful dunks from Harrington, Smith and Childress, because the Mavericks were so unconcentrated at defence. But at the end of this quarter Jason Terry scored 7 points in a row and the score was 62 : 61 for the Hawks. The 3rd quarter began with good defence from Mavs, letting to score only 18 points for the Hawks, so the victory has been coming to Dallas, but again the Mavericks led to close the score. The run 8 : 0 from Hawks, and they trail only by two - 94 : 96. There was thriller on the ground, and The Hawks now lead the game 102 : 101. At this difficult moment the Dirk Nowitzki scored some really important points and Hawks were constrained to foul player hoping to tie the game. So the Mavericks has won this game 110 : 106!

THE BEST PLAYERS:
Jason Terry scored 32 points for the Mavericks and was true team leader for this game.
Dirk Nowitzki has played short time due to 5 fouls, but scored 24 points, letting to know his scoring abillities.
Joe Johnson was team leader for the hawks and had 23 points.

DISSAPOINTMENTS:
Josh Howard had a bad night scoring only 7 points with terrible 25%.

||TRADE RUMOR||

Image

The trade rumor is that Mavericks is interested in Center Theo Ratliff, which is known as a good defensive player and great shot blocker.

Theo is really unhappy in his situation at Portland, team full of young and very perspective players, and not ready for the victories yet.

Ratliff would lovely come to Dallas and help strengthen their defense.

Portland wants some young players in return or players with expiring contract, because the contract on Theo is very huge, so trading him to player with expiring contract would let them sign a good players at summer in free-agent signings.

MAVERICKS SURPRISINGLY FALL TO MAGIC
In a very dissapointing match Marquis Daniels suffered a serious knee injury

DALLAS MAVERICKS 101 : 109 ORLANDO MAGIC
Image
Dwight Howard unbelievable dunk leading Magic to surprisingly victory against Mavs

[ Mavericks Boxscore ]
[ Magic Boxscore ]

RECAP
The game started with the good plays from Josh Howard. At the end of 1st quarter Marquis Daniels fell on the ground and suffered knee injury. In the 2nd quarter was nothing important and at the end of this quarter the result was 56 : 51 for the Mavericks. Marquis Daniels returned to the floor after the half, and let Dallas to win about ten points, but later Dallas offense was struggling so Dwight Howard and Steve Francis began the show. mazing passes, lay-ups from Francis and awesome dunks by Dwight Howard. The score is 78 : 77 for the Mavs. At the middle of the 4th quarter there was the run 10 : 0 for the Magic, and our team could not close the score, so the Magic celebrates the victory 109 : 101 ! Everyone are waiting the rersults from our trainer about Marquis Daniels, because the pain was so big after the game. It was very risky move to let Daniels paly after the the half, so now we hope the the injury won't be very serious.

THE BEST PLAYERS:
Dirk Nowitzki scored 34 points and had 5 rebs, although his defence was terrible against Dwight.
Jerry Stackhousewas real fighter on the ground with 14 points.
Dwight Howard was deffensive wall for the Mavs and offensive nightmare. 15 points, 7/9 FG, 7 rebs, 6 blocks from him.
Steve Francis has had 21 points shooting well from the game, and also 4 assists.

DISSAPOINTMENTS:
Mavericks defence was so dissapointing, only 1 block from all team, and comparingly shooting percentages .469 and .577
What a contrast!!! Jason Terry against Hawks - 32 points, against Magic - only 5.

||INJURY||

Image

Dallas Mavericks trainer S.Price anounced that Marquis Daniels won't be available for 4 weeks. It is a very dissapointing loss to Dallas, because he was a real fighter on the ground. Also the schedule of the team is very intensive, so I think he will miss about 8 games or even more.

Image

Another interesting thing from the game between Magic and Mavericks: two Magic centers also suffered injuries Kelvin Cato and Tonny Battie.

Image

We are looking forward to return of Marquis Daniels. Now Jerry Stackhouse is moving to the starting five, but the bench is poor that it is need some changes in Mavericks line up, i think.
