Zaza is a good addition, I like what the Mavs were doin there, now they have Diop, Dampier and Pachulia, at least one should have an impact per game.

Marquis, Yeah, both teams, Atlanta and Dallas got pretty good and needed players from that trade...But I think that Brandon Bass is more worthy than E.Barron...
hova-, Mmm... I think they're going to release on of these guys soon...

Jazz
The Los Angeles Lakers played outstanding offense scoring 30+ points every quarter and defeated Jazz by 24 points. Currently Lakers stand 2nd in pacific and have a 8-4 record.
Lakers first quarter was ended with 30 points on the scoreboard, but Jazz didn’t let Lakers gain a bigger that a 3 point lead, they scored 27. Second, was just a little better, Lakers scored 33, while Jazz answered with 29, Lakers had a 7 point lead entering the second half.
Jazz defense was completely ruined, and they were showing no effort on defense, Lakers managed to score 32, and Jazz scored only 14 points, 10 of them were scored by Derek Fisher.
After a poor third quarter, Jazz stepped up, Carlos Boozer came back to the court and started dunking all over the place, [u}Mehmet Okur[/u] joined him and was a big part of Jazz’s offense in the last quarter. Blocked three shots… Derek Fisher scored 8 points in the last one, while Carlos Boozer added 13, and it was all Jazz all the time. But Lakers’ rookie Tyrus Thomas didn’t wanted to give up. He scored 10 points in 2 minutes and stunned Jazz, and minutes later Lakers had their big lead back… Jazz outscored the Lakers in the fourth, but only by 1 point…

Nets
The Los Angeles Lakers played strong fourth quarter, scoring 40 points and outscoring Nets by 7, won in L.A. and now are 9-4, second in pacific division.
Nets gained advantage after the first, they had a 4 point lead heading into 2nd. Lakers weren’t able to get back the lead and Nets won the quarter again, this time by 1 point, they had a 5 point lead entering the 3rd period.
Lakers managed to narrow the gap to 1 point after the third. Though it didn’t look like this at it’s beginning, when Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson hit 3 three-pointers and extended the lead to 14 points. But when the quarter reached it’s middle, Lakers rookie Tyrus Thomas exploded and scored 12 points in the 4 last minutes of the third.
Vince Carter tried to close the game early in the fourth by scoring fast points and playing outstanding defense, but Kobe Bryant managed to hold his team. Kwame Brown joined him and they were scoring point by point. When Nets were too tired to continue to fight and when Kobe nailed his only 3 pointer it was all over…

Thomas is a beast in the game, although his free throw shooting was not so good tonight, but he had a great game with 18 pts

Marquis, It's the worst part of the game cause he got fouled really often...
Zoom, Yeah, If he continues his good performance, I maybe be putting him in the starting lineup and kick out Radmanovic...

The Los Angeles Lakers were unable to stop the 10-3 Bucks, and now sit 3rd at pacific with a 9-5 record.
The first quarter ended in no one’s favor, 34:34, equal. Though it didn’t look like this in the second, where Bucks scored 31, while Lakers answered with 22, Bucks entered the third with a 9 point lead.
Bucks managed to hold off Lakers one more quarter… Redd lead the Bucks in the third with 12 points, while Lakers’ top scorer – Kobe was a playmaker, dished out 4 assists in the third period. Bucks outscored Lakers by 5 and held a 14 point lead heading into the last period.
Lamar and Kobe joined and tried to eliminate Bucks lead at the beginning of the last period, they narrowed it to 4, but then Bucks’ Steve Blake scored 7 fast points to raise his team. Lakers tried to make it one more time and were successful, they got back the lead with only 2 minutes on the clock. But Bucks’ Michael Redd sinked to big three’s and stopped the Lakers from winning.

Jazz
The Los Angeles Lakers have won their most dominant match this season against Utah Jazz, by 48 points. Lakers now sit 2nd in pacific with a 10-5 record.
Lakers started the game successfully outscoring the Jazz by 18 points. They continued their dominance in the second as they scored 26 points and Jazz answered with only 9 points. Lakers had a completely dominant 35 point lead. Utah Jazz showed more effort in the third, scoring 22 points, while Lakers still outscored them by 6 points. Phil Jackson gave more minutes to bench players in the third, Jordan Farmar and Tim Thomas were leading the team. Evans and Turiaf did some nice job too. Lakers were completely destroying Jazz and had a 41 point lead heading into the last period.
Jazz knew they have no chances of winning, so they were showing no effort in the last quarter, players were playing selfishly, shooting contested shots. Lakers’ Kobe Bryant entered the court fired up, nailed 10 points and dished out 4 assists in the last one. Jazz lost the quarter by 7 points.

Thats a great defense let the opposite team to score only 62 points, nice job.

Nice BIG win!

Marquis, K, I'll add it...
Zoom, Yeah it's a good example for the phrase: "Big win"...
Mon Nov 20, 2006 1:45 am
Good job on this recap. You lakers are a bit low in the standings comparing to the record, but thats because of the strong Western Conference.
These logos on Power Rankings look cool. Where did you get those?
Mon Nov 20, 2006 1:56 am
Looks good, I do also like these logos, very nice.
Quite realistic that Morrison and Gay got the rookie awards.
Randolph is doing quite good like he does in real life.
Keep it on, nice read every time.
Oh, 1000th post
