You can do it now, before I post the Round 2 results. You'll be a little handicapped, ofcourse, but based on the point system, you have a chance

I look forward to game 4

Don't you mean game 7?

no one expected this to b so close, coz u sweeped the heat easily...

That was a fluke, just so happened that we played our best basketball of the season in those 4 games. Now thing are rougher...

i just don't want ur season to be over now

We've already gone farther than expected... but I don't want it to end, either...

What a bunch of gamblers... j/k

Okay, here'e the deciding game 7...

Game 7 – Eastern Semifinals : Orlando Magic vs. New York Knicks ( Series tied at 3-3)

It was what everybody expected out of game 7 in this fantastic playoff series. Drama, excitement , and a close game to boot. The two teams were very close throughout this encounter, with the lead exchanging hands for the most part of the first three quarters, with only late in the 3rd the Knicks gaining a 5 point lead over the home team. In the 4th quarter, they pretty much kept it intact, but near the end the Magic rallied and closed the gap to 3. Right then it was the time for Allan Houston’s experience and years to do the talking, as the 33 year old guard hit a crucial 3 pointer (see picture below) with 1 minute to go to get the lead back up at 6. he also made all 6 of his free throws in the end when he was being fouled for time stoppage. Jamal Crawford had a fine game with 28 points and 10 assists for the Knicks, while the Magic leaned themselves upon their rookie Howard who had 24 points, but at only 19 years of age could not possibly carry his team alone in this thriller.

Result : New York Knicks win it 109 – 115, win this series 4-3 and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, where they will face Boston, who beat the Wizards easily 4-1.

Here is the team’s stat sheet after 11 games in the post-season:
Image

Congratulations must go to Allan Houston and Jamal Crawford who have obviously elevated their games relative to the regular season, providing New York with a backcourt that wins close games and controls the games’ flow…

Image - Image

Minnesota went on undefeated and trashed Denver to get into the Conference Finals. 8-0 now in the post season and the Wolves are the major favorites to win it all. Dallas beat San Antonio in a rugged Texas matchup, and now has to face the red-hot Wolves for a spot in the Finals.

Boston had no real trouble with Washington and will now face New York with the added advantage of a few days of rest more than their opposition

here's my predictions for the Conference Finals....

Boston defeats New York 4-2
Minnesota defeats Dallas 4-3

let's see if I can hold on :o

and dweaver, just in case you don't get the NBA Finals up before I head off on my trip, here is my NBA Finals predictions....I have given the 4 possible matchups and my predictions so that I'm covered regardless of the result

if Minny and Celtics advance then....
Minnesota defeats Boston 4-1

if Minny and Knicks advance then....
Minnesota defeats Knicks 4-1

if Mavericks and Celtics advance then....
Boston defeats Dallas 4-2

if Mavericks and Knicks advance then....
Dallas defeats Knicks 4-3

if you get NBA Finals matchup before I leave then I might adjust my option, but as of now, they are the picks....

I'm emailing you my cyberface as well....not being cocky, I just figure that I don't wanna slow you down if you are going to rush through your off-season....

cheers,
X

why stop my support of the Knicks at this stage  should be a good series, although it would be in the best interests of your dynasty for you to go down to the C's

no one wants to see Knicks win in the 1st season....and besides, I wouldn't mind seeing a Celtics-Knicks rivalry rekindled :P

besides, the West will win regardless of who advances.... :D

I will repeat myself: " Oh ye of little faith "...

yes, the Knicks have gone too far in th eplayoffs alrready, but it's mostly the result of CPU simming, so it's all the better... (Y)

nice to see u winning the series (Y)

one little question... did u give mark the full points for the NY - Orl prediction ? i think it wasn't that hard to pick the right margin with 6 games already played. I don't want to u reduce his points, don't get it wrong. I only want to know ^^

It seems that the both of us got a slim chance to get on top, in the end, should be interesting

i think i was the only one who picked dallas over san antonio, dirk didn't let me down ;)

Predictions:

Dallas Defeats Minnesota 4-3
New York Defeats Boston 4-3

We're the Cinderella of the playoffs... now let's hope the other shoe fits...

Yep, I totally forgot about when he posted his picks. I can't go on subtracting points now, though, so I'll leave it as is...

Looks like the infamous " Spurs - UP / Warriors - DOWN " embedded code first unearthed by The X was on vacation this time...

this is my ex-girlfriend...
when i registered to the forums i chose this avatar, but a few days later, on Jan 7th we went different ways. She lives a few 100km away from me, so it's very complicated to keep the relationship.
but we're still good friends, so i didn't change my avatar

and... what is a dead ringer ? i guess something like a double.... if u want i can show u some other pics, just in case u want to see if she really looks that similar to ur wife

Yes. Just a slang expression for that very term...

Nah, my wife would not appreciate me looking at pics of other women while on the Internet. Plus she's on top of my shoulder right now...
