NBA LIVE 365

Postby Dagger55 on Thu Jun 04, 2009 12:08 pm

I purchased a used NBA Live 09 for the PS3. I realized I would have to buy the NBA Live 365 feature at the playstation network store. So I bought the NBA Live 365 add-on feature for $9.99. Now I play the game and when I go to download the Live 365 content, it says: "THERE WAS A PROBLEM DOWNLOADING THE LATEST NBA LIVE 365 CONTENT. WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY AGAIN?" I tried it again and again, and the same message appears. I go to the rosters and they're the default rosters. Did I just lose $9.99 or what's going on here? Can someone help me?

That's happened a few times through the season, usually it's been server congestion/downtime so I'd give it another shot. Unless you've got other networking problems I doubt it's anything you've done wrong.

I found out that Firewall was apparently causing the problem (N) . So for all you that are experiencing the problem I had, you might just need to turn Firewall off. (Y)

No problem. Thanks to you too. I actually found a better solution in which you don't have to turn off firewall. Page 13 (Play Online) of the NBA Live 09 manual, has a section called "Playing behind a Firewall or router". There it states that if you're running a firewall, ensure it is set to allow the game to communicate on the following ports both inbound and outbound: TCP Ports: 80, 443, 30350-30359, 12480 UDP Ports: 3659, 6000, 9565, 9820-9880. I hope this helps anyone with the problem I had. Thanks again Andrew.
