Welcome to the Forum! For future reference, please don't post the same question in multiple threads; once is sufficient. Thanks. :)

To answer your question, yes we can edit accessories this year with the exception of headbands.

It would be nice if you could edit the physical characteristics of players too. Andris Biedrins looks like James Dean!  :? Unfortunately, you cannot edit his hair :(

It's possible outside Dynasty Mode as well.

Not to existing players, no. You can give created players headbands.

hmmm...

I tried the CAP feature recently (PS2) and I was able to give a headband to Diaw. Not sure what the issue is here...

Is this when you try to remove headbands from players which have them?

Hmm... I'll try removing D-Fish's headband and let you know the results...

That isn't an issue with the PS2 version of the game. However, you cannot edit head accessories on the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions of the game.

oh ok... so this is a next-gen issue...

Hmm.. interesting, EA.... I thought that since it would be editable in the PS2 version, then normally, is should still be the case in the PS3/360 version...

Not necessarily. Last year we couldn't any accessories on the 360/PS3 due to some issues with player models. I'd say it's a similar story this year with the headshapes, while the PS2 version remains unaffected.

I just bought NBA live09 for the xbox360 and the first thing i always like to do is create myself in the game. Usually i like how Live lays out the tools, but this time i found a few things that annoyed me.

Like how you get the detailed tweaking ability for every possible part of the face, but the camera doesnt zoom in close enough to really do it well.

Or when you have to pick a jumpshot style or goto move animation, but you dont get a preview of what it actually looks like. Also when you save the adjustments of for instance the appearance and animations and you go back to the practice court, you still see settings of the previous one. You have to first select another player and then back, before you see the updated created player.

Its the little things you know. I dont understand why game testers dont mention all these things. Or maybe they do, but it's too late, too hard, too nitpicky, too... i dont know.

peace.

They probably aren't the things that QA are necessarily looking for. If it does what it's supposed to and doesn't crash then technically speaking, it works.

A switched off PC doesn't crash, but it isn't that much fun, either.

Well, yes, but a switched off PC doesn't do anything and has an easily identifiable problem. The QA people aren't necessarily big basketball fans, so issues such as incorrect simulated stats or infrequent substitutions may not jump out at them as problems.

well speaking of created players i have a question
how come when i started my dynasty mode with the cavs or also when i was just looking at editing a couple players shot's cause they don't look like theirs
so i wanted to try and then i went to the section where they have like the specifics to edit such as
"go to move"
"actual shot"
"dunk package"

and so on and so forth but when i tried to click on all of them, they were locked and i couldn't actually try and edit it, how come this is happening? or is it just meant to be like that, if it is then what's the point of adding that menu...

A few edit functions are disabled in Dynasty Mode.
