Oklahoma Thunder in NBA Live 2009

Would EA Sports update the team uniform, logo and name for the Seattle Supersonics now known as Oklahoma Thunder?

They've been using the temporary logo and jerseys in early builds (as evident by the X08 video) but now that the name and logos have officially been unveiled I don't see why the final build wouldn't be properly updated.

I really don't think there's any reason for concern, Oklahoma City was on display at the X08 event and while they were still using the temporary logo and jerseys, it would have been due to an embargo on the Thunder's designs. I would suggest that EA Sports have been informed of those designs long before they were made official and have just had to wait until the team made the announcement.

Hope so. It would really peeve me off if the Thunder were still listed as the Sonics in 09.
