shweet, good find

Gasol in action: Looks a lot more fluid, loved the o-board and dunk, but my god, he ran around the back of the basket and through it when taking it out of bounds. Not game ruining but, weird.

Fadeaway shot: Loved the failed steal attempt by fisher at the beginning. Looks like the rebounding animations are better too.

Kobe Free Throws: Loving the jersey movement, hating the quick cut to the cutscene.

Camby Scores: silky

Overall: I am really digging the jersey movement and how the rebounding looks to be smarter. Everything looks like it controls beautifully but there are plenty of nagging things that remind you this is a video game. Overall though it looks like this is going to be a blast to play.
Opinions are my own.

I saw no fadeaway shot. A 3 by Mobley, and a jumpshot that was very soft, according to the rim physics.

The pass to Camby on the pick and roll sould have been intercepted, hopefully this wasn't on superstar difficulty.

^WTF? haha

You think it's a problem with the video and not the game?

In the Gasol one Kobe stepped out of bounds and no call?

I noticed a few glitches like that in the build I played, I'm surprised to see them show up this late in development (and in a preview video at that).

There was no fadeaway shot, and there was no D. Is there any D in the game? Are there defensive play calls such as double teams on the fly, or communication to call for a double team on the fly?

Looks like a typical NBA Live in which a team could easily score 200 points a game in a 12 minute quarter game.

But as Andrew stated before, for gameplay reasons they most likely show videos and such in an easy difficulty to show off the offensive features of the game. Or you could just adjust sliders...

That's my assumption, I encountered Lockdown Defense a fair bit playing on All-Star and Superstar Difficulty. Hopefully the videos are on Rookie or Starter just so they can show off the offensive moves.

Why don't they make at least one video showing off the defense?

I wish i had a NG console, but, hell no! :-(

I tried NBA Live 08 NG only once at an internet cafe. The PS3 version. But it had framerate problems. Maybe because of the high brightness level so the high detail. But the gameplay overall was way waaaaaay better than the PC version.

09 definetely will be a vast improvement over the previous titles as seen on the videos. ;)

Very hard to notice Kobe on the floor. Looks like some tall black guy with big muscle and skinny leg and a Bald head?!?

Both versions were supposed to run at 60 fps but I've heard the PS3 performance wasn't as good. I remember them mentioning that they'd worked on that this year so there shouldn't be a difference between the consoles, I guess all will be revealed in time.
