This Draft Made My Dynasty Decision Easier

Postby dascoot on Fri Jun 27, 2008 12:41 pm

After seeing Memphis draft Kevin Love and Donte Greene I definity want to go with the Grizzlies. I was going to build around Gay but now am considering trading him along with Miller and possibly Conley for pick and maybe even to try and get Rose and possibly 1st round pick from other teams. I can't wait to shoot around with Greene and try and get Rose. I can't believe Sacramento drafed Jason Thompson with the 12th pick when they could have had Darrell Arthur.

well i was happy until all that. I am happy about OJ Mayo though which will be a huge start of rebuilding Memphis for me. I might still try and go get Donte Greene or maybe get Rose alongside Mayo. I was going to build around Rudy Gay but now he's tradeable whether it gets me Rose or Greene or Beasley even. I like having mostly young players when i start out. If I can't get Rose, Green or Beasley then I will be dumping Gay for maybe a first round pick especially if I get a strong or very strong draft. I will also dump Marko Jaric or Antoine walker for players too.

I just found out that Memphis got Darrell Arthur along with OJ Mayo which is great. I even went to nba website and here is the roster currently for the memphis by position and how many years pro

Centers

Kwame Brown - 6'11"- 7 years
Darko Milicic- 7"0" - 5 years

Power Forwards
Darrell Arthur- 6'9"- Rookie
Hakim Warrick- 6'9"- 3 years
Andre Brown- 6'9"- 2 years

Small Forwards

Rudy Gay- 6'8"- 2 years
Antoine Walker- 6'9"- 12 years

Shooting Guards

OJ Mayo- 6'4"- Rookie
Casey Jacobsen- 6'6"- 4 years
Greg Buckner- 6'4"- 9 years

Point Guards

Mike Conley - 6'1"-1 year
Javaris Crittenton- 6'5"- 1 year
Marko Jaric- 6'7"- 6 years
Kyle Lowry- 6'0"- 2 years

I might be wrong about these players
Andre Brown could possibly be SF
Antoine Walker could possibly be PF
Greg Bucker can also play SF
Marko jaric can also play SG or SF even

so now with the lineup that I possibly have unless trades go down how could I possibly get Donte Greene, Greg Oden or Derrick Rose to Memphis. Also note OJ Mayo and Darrell Arthur for me are untouchable.

Why I would like to have Oden

Oden and Conley could play together on the same team.

Why I would like to have Donte Greene

With Mike Miller gone I would really like to have a younger player at SF who could be an outside threat and the fact that Greene could score in bunches would make a trio of Mayo, Greene and Arthur interesting.

Why I would like to have Derrick Rose.

This would probably be difficult to get without giving up either Crittenton or Conley. I would like to have Rose in the backcourt with Mayo because that would be nasty.

So I know I can't get Rose, Oden and Greenewithout giving up Mayo or Arthur. So how could i can get any one or two of those players.

I was just thinking the same thing about starting an 2009 Dynasty with Memphis once the game is out.

I would go with...

C - Darko Milicic
PF - Hakim Warrick
SF - Rudy Gay
SG - O.J Mayo
PG - Mike Conley

I just hope to god NBA Live 2009 has 28 game seasons!

Can't go past the TrailBlazers.

C: Greg Oden
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge
SF: Travis Outlaw
SG: Brandon Roy
PG: Jerryd Bayless

+ it's whole offseason left.

And Marc Gasol just signed with them too. He is pretty good(Was the MVP of the spanish league). They are going to be a pretty good team

If Marc Gasol is anything like Pau, he'll be a good NBA player.
