Around the same time as the other platforms I'd assume. October 7th is the date EA Sports have given us for the moment, if the PSP version doesn't come out then I imagine it will come out shortly afterwards.

HI..does anyone here know if the Dynamic DNA feature will be in the NBA Live 09 for PSP? Coz everytime i read previews about NBA Live 09 in PSP, it doesnt include NBA 365, NBA Live rewind and Dynamic DNA on their articles...

Don’t you love the chase? Sometimes it doesn’t work out; those are the stakes. But when it does work out, it’s like having that first cigarette: your head gets all dizzy, your heart pounds, your knees go weak. Remember that?

I dont think that its gonna released for the PSP (N)
Its not on the main site, but you can preorder it, but it doesnt even has a cover. And I dont think that anybody did a preview on the PSP they just write it so (the NCAA 09 PC trailer on GT)

The official site does not list the PSP version amongst the other platforms, though it is available to pre-order in the EA Store. I'd say that's a mistake though since the PS2 version isn't listed there. In any case, NBA Live 365 is 360/PS3 only.

It should. But expect NBA Live 08 on PSP with some updated rosters, and maybe if you're lucky, a "replacement" NBA Academy.

No, I'm thinking that the listing of the PSP version in the EA Store is a mistake since it's not listed amongst the platforms on the official NBA Live 09 website.

But why I am seeing so many game sites that said NBA Live 09 will be in PSP? Which is which? I dont know, but I really want to have that in PSP at the very least..

They're probably either mistaken or misinformed. I'm inclined to trust the official site on this one as I doubt EA Sports would neglect to mention the PSP version if they want to sell as many copies of it as possible (which I would assume they would). The conflict between the official site and EA's online store is more confusing then conflicting sources elsewhere. I can tell you first hand it's easy to overlook things like that when you're maintaining a website, especially when you copy and paste on a new fact sheet.

I'll try and get confirmation on the situation.

Which is kind of odd, that they are releasing the game for everything else but the one platform they have no competition on...

I thought with the end of the PC release of 09 was a death blow for PS2 and PSP too, so they could concentrate on the XBOX360/PS3 version so they could get it right and then next year do a broader release with the new platform in place...

But I guess they just wanted to quit providing the game for us PC players... And that's it...

Nice for you PSP players that it will get released for it.

No idea. It's probably not worth it, it's not going to have all the new stuff that will be in the 360/PS3 version.

The PS2 version is developed by a seperate team so it doesn't take any attention away from the 360/PS3 version. They've mentioned a "reboot" of the PC platform so hopefully that at least means a port from the latest generation of consoles instead, something that obviously won't be happening on the PS2 or PSP. In the meantime though, they're still catering to those older platforms.
