Considering the initial announcement, plus Peter Moore's recent blog entry confirming NBA Live 09 will not be released for the PC, I would suggest that it's a mistake on 1up.com's part. It's probably just a copy and paste error, which I can tell you firsthand is very easily done when maintaining a website.

I fucking knew that something like playing from the perspective of a player had to be part of the game. I said i'd probably buy live 09 if it was the big announcement...and i'm sticking to my word. I'll probably end up renting both 2k9 and live 09 and weigh the two first though. After 3 years...EA finally has my attention again....
