I'd say someone probably will. It remains to be seen whether they'll do an update as part of NBA Live 365.

I don't think that EA would hold such a publicity stunt and then not include the new Melo in the game.

Perhaps. If so, I expect his new look will be included in one of the major weekly updates, ie. the ones released on Thursdays that contain accessories updates and corrected player data for any new players that have been added, rather than one of the regular daily DNA updates.
