that is not the reason only gold members can download the demo. i think its a thing microsoft is doing now in live, maybe trying to make silver members switch to gold. it was the same with the beijing 2008 game..they release it for gold members, and silver have to wait longer

I don't think I'm gonna be able to play the demo because they still got NHL 09 for gold members and that game comes out tomorrow

Yeah MS made it where people that don't have a Gold membership have to wait a week or two before they can download demos.

We were told at the Community Day that you'd only need a Silver account to use 365 and nothing has contradicted that so far. However, it's possible that there might be a charge on the 365 service in the future.
