No Hop step/Call for Pick buttons for window???

Hello..

Last weekend, I just got a chance to play NBA 2K9 with my friends (Xbox360 version). And... It's really cool !!!! I'm so interested in this game but I don't want to buy Xbox360 so I've planed to buy PC version.

But my friend said that the controls for X360 version and Window version is different. He told me that Window version can not do some moves.. For ex... Y for X360 = HOP Step but Y for Window = Spin move and B for X360 = Call for Pick but B for Window = Cross over (Actually, he said that the X360 & PS3 versions is better than Window version)

I already have X360 Controller for window, so would like to know how to setup this Gamepad to be the same as NBA2K9 for X360 version (if possible)?

tHere is a patch in the nba2k9 patch release section you might want to check it out

That patch does not fix what he wants. It justs gives you the icon images for the 360 controller.

The quick pick and roll button that is used on the 360 version with the B button isnot available in the PC version. You can still use dual player control to call a pick and roll. The hop step on the 360 version is the Y button, while it is combined with the shoot button on the PC version. You tap the shoot button while moving to perform the hop step. Also, the trigger and bumper mappings are reversed.

.. so.. it means that there are no ways to configure the X360 pad for window to be the same as X360 console's

But it still have the way to use "HOP Step" & "Call for pick" on PC version.

Oh.. OK... I will try to use those moves on PC but.. 1st of all, need to go to the store to pick this game... he he he...
