The official "The Knicks shooting bricks"-thread

Hi! This is the official "The Knicks shooting bricks"-thread or "see me suck in 2K9".
This is a serious thread (not).

Today I played with some sliders PDub pmed me. They are really nice but I still cannot handle the cpu. After a first test I was happy: "Wow, I just played one quarter and won it 28-24". In this very first test I shot 13/17 from the field with Boston. Garnett scored 17 points (I play with 10 minutes per quarter).

I thought that the sliders are perfect for me and decided to play two full games. New York vs. Oklahoma...and I sucked. Then Boston vs. Oklahama...and I sucked again although I had played a really good quarter before.
New York is...well, as a Knick you're only goal in life is to shoot brick after brick or even eat one. Or smash bricks with your head and then ask for money like Marbury does.

After all, Lee had a good game but Randolph didn`t. Garnett played so much better in the second game, which makes it a bit unbalanced for me. Although I suck at 2K9 I can easily score with Garnett but not with others.

Here are some screenshots of my brilliant two games against the Thunder. Ok, I have to admit that the Thunder are just the best team in the NBA and you can do nothing but lose against them. ;) My offense was not too bad (yeah, it sucked but it was better than my defense). My defense was horrible. Oklahoma played run and gun after most of my bricks...it was always the same play...pass, two players dash towards my basket...a bounce pass and the layup. Apart from that, pointguards kept driving often. I could only let them drive or foul them and send them to the line.

Wow, enough for today. It is hard to be a Knick and shoot a brick. Yeah, goodbye and catch a fly.
