Triple threat is when the player has the ball, but has not yet dribbled. The moves are a jab step, a step over, or a protect ball move. Each move can create space for a jumpshot or a dribble drive out of the triple threat. A sizeup move is just a random dribble move, like they said, to show off, but it really isn't flashy, and doesn't really do anything other than a canned dribble animation.
